• Musab (3/5): Mal trato por parte del personal, NO RECOMENDADO - El tamaño del alojamiento, ubicación y comodidad. Lo que determinó el malestar que experimentamos y la puntuación final de este alojamiento, desde luego es el MAL trato por parte del personal (hombre polaco a quien te diriges por WhatsApp para recibir los detalles del check-in). Las direcciones de cómo acceder a la llave y luego al apartamento que te envía por WhatsApp fueron muy confusas, y como no encontrábamos las llaves, le llamé por WhatsApp pero como era por la noche se molestó mucho, imploró que era estúpido por no haber entendido sus direcciones, me habló con un tono muy despectivo y agresivo, y dijo que estábamos interrumpiendo su ciclo de sueño. Hizo que nada más llegar a la ciudad tuviéramos una experiencia muy desagradable.

• Audrone (4/5): Stay away.... - Not sure where to start... the flat was not clean properly, you could see spider webs on the lights and in the corner. In the bathroom, water was running constantly. Bet sheets with stain. Hols in the wals, wals dirty needs to do repainting. This flat needs proper DIY. I was lucky I did not need to use the broken bed. However, my boy went there a couple of times, and I could see that bed goes in.
• Monique (8/5): Large and comfortable accommodation outside Edinburgh. - We have been in Edinburgh during the Fringe festival and we could not find a convenient accommodation for 5 people in the city Centre, this Fiat is extremely well located 2minutes walk from The bus stop and in less than 30 minutes you can be walking along the Royal Mile. The flat is very comfortable, the rooms are big with all necessary linen, comfort products are available in the 2 bathrooms and the kitchen was packed with food and beverages for the breakfast. The furniture is not brand new and small issues need to be fixed, however the kitchen is has been recently renovated and fully equipped.. I would defenseless recommend this accommodation as a valid alternative to the Centre. Definitely good value for money. There is no proposer living space or dining room, the table is in one of the 3 bedrooms, it is ok if you only have breakfast, it may be a bit less practical for lunch/dinner. We received the instructions to enter the building only when we were in front of the main door, which is a bit uncomfortable as we arrived late at night
• Alessandro (2/5): Non lo cosiglio - Mi dispiace dire che non mi è piaciuto nulla della struttura in cui siamo incappati. Forse le uniche cose che si salvavano erano il wi-fi e il fatto che ci fosse una lavatrice a portata di mano. L’appartamento era decadente ed estremamente sporco. Abbiamo trovato i bagni non puliti ed un letto con residui organici (peli o capelli) ed altro materiale non identificabile. La doccia presentava muffa. La tazza di uno dei due bagni aveva una tavoletta rotta. La vasca aveva il rubinetto che perdeva. Le maniglie di tutte le porte rimanevano in mano. Gli asciugamani non erano asciutti e avevano cattivo odore. Ho fatto una segnalazione al proprietario e sono rimasto dispiaciuto per non aver ricevuto alcuna risposta. Differentemente quando avevo chiamato al mio arrivo mi aveva risposto immediatamente. La zona non era delle migliori e tra l’altro completamente fuori da Edimburgo.
• Brodersen (1/5): Beliggenhed fin i forhold til Edinburgh, INGEN morgenmad, Ingen toiletpapir, måtte selv handle ind. - Der var ingen morgenmad!! Været havde lagt mad i køleskabet, så vi selv kunne lave morgenmad, her var mad til de første to dage, resten af tiden måtte vi selv købe morgenmad. Dårlige senge, MEGET fugt, Ingen morgenmad.
• Wendy Wood (2/5): - Location I found the manager to be very rude and extremely uncooperative. The handles on the doors inside kept falling off. The toilet seat in the second toilet wasn't attached. The stove and oven did not work. There was a 2 element cooker there, but it wasn't very clean. The shower was absolutely filthy and there were no cleaning cloths or teatowls

• Wilma (3/5): Disappointing. - Not much it was clean good selection of food in fridge which was handy as it wasn't near any shops that were suitable for meal No TV very dated bed linen ,no lamps working poorly furnished very hard to get into were outside for nearly 1 hour, lady in flat helped or we would have been lost, worse place I've ever stayed has quite frankly put me off using booking .com.
• Libby (4/5): An honest review of the property - The place is near the shops and public transport. It was clean on arrival, very spacious. The lounge was converted to a room., hence no sitting room. The kitchen is fair. Cooker and oven not working, but 2 burner electric stove is provided. Food, water & juice for the stay was provided ang in the fridge. There's crockery and cooking pots, frying pan. Parking was provided at the back of the property. The beds frame were all broken, very very unsafe and uncomfortable. I took a video and pictures of it's state. Completely not safe to use. We ended up putting the uncomfortable mattress on the floor. The 3rd bed frame and mattress not good as well. My 2 year old grand daughter was hurt on the bed on arrival. No good quality sleep for 2 nights, therefore, we decided to checked out early and went home, and therefore missed a day to enjoy Edinburgh. Additionally, if you are booking this place, please document the damages like the broken door handles, holes on the walls caused by door handles, hanging exhaust etc. I WhatsApp this to the owner and he told me "are you going to send me now thousands of picture", I replied, just making sure I'm not charged of the damages. If all the things I mentioned are sorted, this property is good for family to stay.

• Nikhil (8/5): Nice and comfortable stay. Spacious flat with free car parking and close to public transport - Location is close to bus stops to goto city centre. some minor fixes required like door handle, wc seat etc..

• Florentina (1/5): Bad - It was a good location with plenty of car park! One of the windows of the apartament is on the street side and you can hear ambulances and police cars all day long! 2 beds out of 3, were broken, completely broken, not possible to sleep in. The frames were all taped around. We had to use the mattresses on the floor for a night. Left the next morning. The toilet seat in one of the bathrooms was broken. General higyene was not good and the tap in the bath tub was runing all the time because it was broken. The cooking hob was not working and replaced with a smaller one on top of that.
• James (6/5): Good breakfast and nice location only. - Location was absolutely amazing with buses nearby, free parking, very spacious flat, varied breakfast. Bed frames were all cracked or broken, The flat was dusty dirty (needed some cleaning), one of the bathroom taps was faulty ( water waste not really sustainable). It was impossible to sleep in two on those beds as they were tied with tapes and matrasses wasn't the most comfortable nor the bed sheets/pillows really smell fresh etc etc.
• Muninder (3/5): Most of the things like beds, doors handle were broken. - It was clean 2 beds were broken and we can’t sleep on the beds. Owner offered cancellation however we had no other option than to stay as we had no time to look for property on the spot.
• Lynn (5/5): It’s okay for the price you paye but the beds are definitely unsafe - The location was very good one bus away from center or a 10 pound uber. The place is big and the breakfast was good. All needed facilities in the kitchen. For what you payed it is a pretty good place. There are a few issues regarding the flat worth noting: 1. Two of the 3 beds (with the wooden frames) broke while we were sleeping. When we removed the mattress to see what happened we realised some of the wooden planks holding the bed together had snapped or had fallen to the floor, there is tape connecting some planks to the bed but many are not screwed in place so even with the tape they still fall. 2. ⁠The door handles are falling off, though this would just require a screw per door handle to fix. 3. ⁠One of the bathroom taps in the shower are leaking water and cannot be closed. 4. ⁠Toiler seat in en-suite bathroom is cracked. I have attached some pictures. We feels the beds are unsafe and would just like to make sure you are aware so no tenant gets harmed.

• Hendrik (9/5): Superb - Due to a communication error the room was double booked. But the owner took perfect care of it and arranged something else and transport to the other location. Other accomodation was great and good location.

• Charmaine (7/5): Okay and Reasonable Price but Not for Fussy People - We like that each room or facility was very spacious. It was peaceful even if it was located nearby the road. We also appreciate that the heaters were all working well with hot and clean water. The washer is efficient and new. The stove, microwave, toaster and kettle works properly well too. It was clean even the fridge itself. There were fresh flowers too at the kitchen and dining table! The beds were all clean and lovely to sleep with. No bedframes broken! What we most liked during our stay is that the owner left some food such as sandwiches, bread with 2 spreads (we didnt open), cereals and drinks (milk, orange and water) for us to consume for the 3 days and 2 nights of stay. This is very helpful especially for us travelling with a little one (3y.o) and a senior. The Owner himself is very kind and easy to speak with by the way. We taught we were scammed as the instructions to enter the building wasnt provided right away even though I said to the owner that we might possibly check in early as we arrive at Edinburgh lunchtime (we came to the property 1834H). I think its better to provide a clear instruction prior the guest coming in so that it wont be frustrating. The moulds/limescale build up at the toilet specially at the shower room needs to be sorted. It has been said several times previously but it still exist there. My husband, mom in law and daughter got bad runny nose & cough on our 1st night of stay. Therefore it can really affect your health if left exposed for so long. Apart from that, some of the fixtures really need a proper fixing. I dont think it is being considered as serious thing since it was being mentioned several times by the previous renters but I hope it will be changed. The doorknobs, the vinyl flooring and some chairs needs proper repair for safety purposes. Actually the property has a potential if it will be given a chance by the owner for improvement. Also, since we got 3 double beds including at the dining or entertainment area, we do hope next time there is also a sofa if possible so that it can also be a lounge. Location is really far from the city centre. Therefore we spent around 150£ for the total cost of our cab back n forth in our 3 days of stay in Edinburgh. We cant afford to walk and commute a lot since we are both with a wee one and an elderly but if we got a car, I think this is actually good place to considerate.

• Rory (2/5): Very poor - Nothing The accommodation was dirty, the towels were damp and hanging on a clothes horse in the kitchen. There was a very musty smell in all the rooms. The table and chairs are in a bedroom and none in the kitchen. Two of the bedrooms had no chairs or bedside tables, and in one, the bedside lamp (on the floor) didn't work. All the beds were very uncomfortable. The bedsheets were old and stained. The shower was dirty. The door handle to the shower room was broken and came away from the door. The lino in the shower room and the bathroom was worn. The lid on the toilet in the shower room was broken and the general fixtures were well worn and dirty. The whole accommodation was bare with no pictures or decoration, and the flowers left in one of the bedrooms were almost dead. I had to leave all my clothes on the ironing board as I didn't want them touching the floor. Overall, the place looked like no one had stayed there for a long time, and the general lack of care and comfort was very, very poor.

Beds were very comfy, I had a great sleep Area is nice and quite Easy to park Reliable wifi connection The host was simply great and very available Fantastic value for money Location felt far from everything. If you are renting your car (liked I did) it is fine, but my guess is that if you have to use public transportation...was not easy

• Anisha (1/5): Okay for a day. - The Breakfast was good, the bread was fresh and there were many things available for breakfast. They also kept bottled water which was good. The kitchen was good and had all the facilities. The rooms were horrible, the door knobs were broken, everything was so dirty and there was always some weird dusty smell. When we complained to the property manager about the conditions of the property, he mentioned "it is old and cheap flat that's why it is like this" There was a chocolate bar in a hole that was in one of the bedrooms. I would recommend the property manager to fix the apartment. Not recommended to stay.

Strange He canceled my reservation. Didn't refund my payment. Never again. I call it fraud cuz he knew he wasn't going to refund so why cancel my reservation. Never again
• Rafal (1/5): Not recommended. Broken and unsafe beds falling apart. Host promised a refund that didn't come. - There wasn't much that I liked really, maybe only the easy key pickup process and the fact that there is a parking area by the building. Location isn't great but that wasn't a surprise, and doesn't matter if you have a car anyway. The apartment has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen. Bedroom #1 had moldy smell and a double bed that lacked critical frame components, making it wobbly. Moreover, it was glued with a glue gun rather than properly put together, as you see in the photos. I didn't even try to lie on it because it would simply fall apart. Dirt underneath was the smallest concern. Bedroom #2 had a bed which had two of its metal middle legs torn away, making the bed - similarly - broken, unusable and unsafe to use. Bedroom #3 was ok. Kitchen ok but overall the apartment was rather dirty. Walls had holes in them, pieces of furniture were broken. When I messaged the host about the beds the reply was that I was expecting "royal conditions" for the price I paid (for the record - ca. 350GBP for a one-night stay). Sorry, but beds that are not falling apart is not "expecting royal conditions", regardless of the price. In the end the host said he would refund the stay but didn't hold his promise as the refund never came. The whole apartment is heavily underinvested and the owner/host simply doesn't care. Broken beds, mold smell isn't something you may overlook as a host - this is a sign you simply don't care at all.
• Thomas (3/5): Would not stay here again; unclean, difficult, bad location - The host stocked the fridge with food and water for us. One of the beds was broken before we got there, there were wet towels in the entryway, the whole apartment smelled of smoke, the floors were dirty, and there were white stains on the sheets! In addition, check-in was an uncomfortable process of waiting in front of the door and having to add the host on WhatsApp because he refused to message through booking.com. We waited outside with our luggage for about fifteen minutes trying to figure out how to get in and waiting for his response.
• Muhammad (3/5): Not so good. - Good location. Enough space for the family. This property requires much needed attention. The door locks needs fixing as noise from unlockable doors were a constant irritation disturbing sleep. The water mixer in the en-suite sink is broken so we couldn’t use it anytime. The beds really need replacement as they’re not use worthy. The little struts supporting middle of one bed gave way and gave kids a scare of lifetime, again disturbing sleep on the last night.

• Fiserova (10/5): Exceptional - Needed a last minute accommodation, was very grateful to find this place. Received videos on how to get into the apartment and where to find the keys, so we didn't have to rush for check-in. As breakfast included - there was food and drinks left for us in the fridge. We were also able to park for free behind the building. Thank you!
