- Petra (9/5): Lovely boutique hotel. - It was my second time here and most likely not the last. Its central location is wonderful and I had everything I needed for a short ski holidays. The bed was a bit too soft for my taste, but this is a very subjective matter. And I slept very well anyway.

- Cristina (8/5): gepflegtes historisches gasthaus - 5 min. von der Talstation Gutes Restaurant. wir hatten halbpension: erster abend haben sie sich sehr mühe gegeben , zweiter abent war aus der à la carte steack und pommes. brot beim frühstück war fantastisch. wir fanden es etwas unpersönlich. die chefs sieht man wenig und sie interessieren sich nich sehr für die gäste. alles funktioniert aber den wallischer-touch fehlt. die infos bekommt online. ein skiraum gibt es nicht.

- Massimo Pietropaolo (9/5): Charmantes Hotel mit Top-Lage, leckerem Essen und herzlichem Service - Das Hotel liegt sehr strategisch und ideal. Besonders praktisch ist der eigene Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus. Die Luftseilbahn erreicht man bequem in nur etwa 8 Minuten zu Fuss. Auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie Migros und Coop sind in rund 5 Gehminuten erreichbar. Eine perfekte Lage – sowohl für Ausflüge als auch für den täglichen Bedarf. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Restaurant: Die Küche ist wirklich ausgezeichnet, und das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm. Die Preise sind fair, die Speisekarte vielfältig – für jeden Geschmack findet sich etwas Passendes. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist großzügig und jeden Morgen frisch zubereitet. Ein großes Kompliment an die gesamte Küchencrew! Das Hotel hat zwar schon etwas Geschichte, was ihm seinen besonderen Charme verleiht. Die Zimmer sind recht hellhörig – man hört ab und zu Schritte auf dem Flur. Mich persönlich hat das nicht gestört, aber es ist sicher erwähnenswert. ;)

Erinomainen sijainti: junalle, hiihtohissille sekä ruokakauppaan vain muutaman minuutin kävely. Laadukas aamiainen. Huone oli viihtyisä ja vaikka suihkukaappi olikin ns. keskellä huonetta, se oli toimiva ratkaisu (minulle tärkeää, että on oma kylpyhuone). Vanhassa rakennuksessa käytäviltä kuuluu jonkin verran ääniä, mutta untani ne eivät häirinneet.

Es ist nanmal ein altes Haus. Wenn Holboden dann knarrt es und es ist ein wenig Hellhörig... Vorallem wenn Kinder im Narbarzimmer toben (Ncht schlimm, nur zur Info). - Amanda (10/5): Excellent base for exploring the beautiful Aletsch Arena and Valais region. - This historic hotel has been restored with care and flair by its current owners. Centrally located and just a short walk from the lift station, secure parking is conveniently opposite. The young and enthusiastic staff, particularly Stefan, Reuban and Israel were exceptionally charming. Stefan's take on a Negroni was particularly inspired! The restaurant boasts a diverse menu featuring local specialities with the "Cholera" being a must try. We ate in the restaurant every night of our three night stay. The wine list offers a good selection of both local and international wines. Breakfast is excellent with plenty of options. My only regret is not taking advantage of the spa and available treatments. Overall , this hotel is an excellent base for exploring the beautiful Aletsch Arena and the Valais region.

- Allison (6/5): Lovely but expensive. - Homely vibe, with managers usually present, lovely comfortable beds and warm rooms. It was very expensive, but then again everything in Switzerland is! And there was no flexibility with the half board option, it had to be decided in advance, without knowledge of the local area (other options for dining out with family) and it was an extremely expensive option.

- Markus (9/5): Toller Aufenthalt in gemütlichem Hotel mit grosser Geschichte - Das Hotel Du Glacier in Fiesch ist zentral im Dorfkern gelegen, fussläufig zum Bahnhof, der Luftseilbahn und Geschäften. Es versprüht einen Charme vergangener Zeiten und verspricht einen erholsamen und schönen Aufenthalt. Das Boutique Zimmer war sehr gemütlich und ist funktional eingerichtet. Sehr bequemes Bett. Ein herzlicher Dank dem netten Personal im ganzen Hotel. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und die Küche im hauseigenen Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Gerne werde ich wieder dort einen Aufenthalt verbringen.

Das Personal ist ausserordentlich freundlich, herzlich und sehr zuvorkommend – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Das Hotel ist modern, stilvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Alles wirkt hochwertig und gleichzeitig warm, einfach wunderschön. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist grosszügig und lässt kaum Wünsche offen: viele Alternativen wie Kokos-, Mandel- und Hafermilch, Honigwaben, verschiedene Müeslis und Joghurts, Käse, Fleisch, eine grosse Brotauswahl sowie sogar eine Saftbar. Besonders praktisch fanden wir die Kaffeemaschine und das Infused Water auf unserem Stock – ein echtes Plus. Der Spa-Bereich ist sehr gelungen mit Floating-Angebot, Massageliege, Infrarotkabine, Sauna und einem Aussen-Whirlpool. Auch das Restaurant hat uns überzeugt: sehr gutes Essen, faire Preise und tolle Cocktails. Negativ (Jammern auf hohem Niveau): Beim Frühstück hat mir persönlich Rührei und Speck gefehlt. Zudem sind die Zimmertüren etwas ringhörig (logisch da Altbau).

We hebben een kamer geboekt maar het hotel was niet vol dus hebben we een upgrade gekregen, er sympathiek. Locatie is top vlak bij de gondel. Het kussen. Maar dat is ook heel persoonlijk. Deed niks af aan de kamer.

- Olaf (8/5): Historisches Hotel, empfehlenswert. - Kurzaufenthalt für eine Gletscher Trekking Tour. Lage zur Bergbahn bzw. dem Bahnhof fußläufig. Gute Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet.

- Alfred (10/5): - Ein absolut tolles Hotel mit viel Historie. Es wird unter anderem beschrieben welche Persönlichkeiten in den jeweiligen Zimmern genächtigt haben. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll im alten Sitil gestaltet. Das Essen sowie das Frühstück ausgezeichnet und mehr als reichlich. Von uns eine unbedingte Empfehlung. Alles perfekt, ich habe keine Mängel gefunden.
