Tracy (10/5): Perfect respite for visiting Bruges! - The location of the hotel is perfect - in a quiet but easily accessible, walkable area. The front desk gentleman went above and beyond to recommend and guide us for places to visit, eat and roam. The hotel itself is very unique in structure being an old castle that has been converted. The decor is refined, fresh & modern and our room was delightful! I always look for a tub and this bath tub was deep and luxurious for a relaxing bath every night! The bed and pillows were perfectly comfortable and the room was spacious. The breakfast spread is quite generous and they are helpful if you want something not provided. Staff is gracious and kind. We will definitely return to stay again. not a thing!

Bed was super comfy, well maintained property. Super cool small bar near lobby, very cozy and cool. Highly recommend this place! We had a shower/tub combo. However, there should have been a large arching shower rod with decorative curtain. The water from the shower sprayed all over the floor after every shower.

nadia (10/5): Excellent, James, receptionst and staff amazing! Highly recommend - The hotel is exceptional. The family run hotel is very special and it sets it apart from other hotels we have stayed in Brugge. The only negative is that I think they could clean the courtyard furniture from bird poo more regularly the chairs were often too dirty to sit on and the garden is a special place to sit so this would make it better.

Unfortunately, the historic fabric of the building has been largely gutted - modern floors and surfaces. Modern chanderliers. Modern furniture. I was expecting more historic fabric and was disappointed that it's all flowers and glass and modern ornaments inside.

Super zentrale Lage, sehr freundliches Personal, ein wunderschönes, sehr gemütliches Zimmer, eine tolle Einrichtung mit herrlichem Ambiente, ein feines Frühstücksbuffet in einem romantischen Gewölbekeller, etc, etc. Es hat einfach alles gepasst und wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf ein nächstes Mal! Chambres décorées avec soin et parfaite pour le confort; l'emplacement est exceptionnel et en plus il y a un parking privé certes cher mais on n'y échappe pas à Bruges. Le personnel est stylé et très aimable. Quant au petit déjeuner, délicieux et varié . Bref ce fût un séjour exceptionnel . Nous reviendrons . Rien à dire !

Ralf (8/5): Goed ingericht kleinschalig hotel op een fantastische locatie in het historisch centrum van Brugge. - De locatie is fantastisch! Restaurants, musea, terrassen, kerken en winkels zijn allemaal binnen loopafstand. Het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid en lekker maar aan de hoge kant geprijsd. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk. Op het eerste gezicht zag de kamer er keurig uit. Sfeervol ingericht met oog voor detail. De prive parkeerplaats (tegen bijbetaling) is erg fijn. Hondvriendelijk Afgebladderde bekleding van het bed en een schimmelrand bij het badkamerraam hoort eigenlijk niet thuis in dit segment accommodatie. €35 per nacht voor een hond is de hoofdprijs. Als mede gasten gingen douchen kwam er een krijsend geluid door de leidingen en lekte er water uit onze stortdouche. Al met al best wel een goede keuze maar er kunnen nog wel wat puntjes op de i.

Nick (10/5): Beautiful, classy, great lataff, great ocation. - A beautiful classy hotel 5 mins from the main square. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was quite opulent with chandeliers and a great shower and comfy bed. The breakfast was a huge range of food and all excellently presented and tasty (we tried most of it, including the pour your own Mimosas). Parking is limited, tight and not the cheapest but convenient and more secure. It was so good we went back on our return journey without hesitation.

Robert (10/5): An absolute delight - We had an absolutely wonderful stay. This hotel is fantastic. The location is super, so near to all the sights, shops and restaurants. We chose the deluxe rooms and they lived up to all our expectations. The beds were spacious and extremely comfortable. The bed linens crisp and comfortable. The interiors were luxurious and very tasteful. The house keeping staff kept the rooms exceptionally clean. A large TV with some English speaking channels. Breakfast at the hotel is amazing. So much choice, outstanding quality and lots of fresh products. Unbelievable value. The staff were very attentive making sure the buffet was plentiful. We had drinks in the lounge which is an exceptionally beautiful and sumptious room. Check in and check out was very straightforward and we were attended to by friendly, efficient staff. We would love to stay again and would highly reccomend a stay here. Thankyou to all the staff.

Jef (9/5): Absolute aanrader voor wie Brugge bezoekt. - Prachtig kleinschalig en uitermate charmant hotel in een historisch pand op een uitzonderlijke locatie in het hartje van de stad, met eigen parking. Het personeel bijzonder behulzaam. Kamer en badkamer zeer ruim en gezellig ingericht (bridal suite). Bijzonder gezellige lounge en bar. Ontbijt van top kwaliteit met zeer uitgebreide keuze, zoals je die normaal alleen in zeer goede 5 sterren hotels ziet. Aangezien er op de dag van vertrek nog ruimte was op de parking hebben wij de auto daar nog een hele dagmogen laten staan zonder toeslag! Kortom, dit hotel is eigenlijk 5 sterren waard. Niets

Anne (10/5): Beautiful hotel in perfect location. Great breakfast and comfortable beds. - Beautiful hotel with so much attention to detail. Fantastic location, delicious breakfast, attentive staff, very comfortable beds and stylish bar. Fresh bottles of water are delivered every day, along with a small box of chocolates on the first day. The radio in the room is a nice touch and I really appreciated the list of recommended restaurants. That was really helpful. I would definitely stay here again. It's hard to find anything to complain about but the bathroom set up wasn't ideal. There is no heating in there so it gets chilly. The shower is above the bath and it's very hard not to soak the floor. Also the bath is very deep so not easy to get in and out of.

Le petit salon, le bar et la cave (espace restauration) ont beaucoup de charme . L'hôtel est Pet friendly, notre chien a même eu droit à son petit cadeau. Pour l'emplacement, c'est parfait, tout est à côté, c'est difficile de mieux faire. Le bruit extérieur des véhicules peut gêné, lors de passage de bus notamment. Ils sont très rares.

Claudia (10/5): - The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had wonderful stay thanks to the good location and nice interactions. The room incl. bath surpassed expectations and the downstairs bar area and lounge were great to unwind. Well executed historical touch.

The room was perfect size and the mattress was the most comfortable I have encountered in a long time. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delightful and included a multitude of options. My favorites were the fresh berries and homemade jams. Can’t recommend this hotel enough! Nothing comes to mind.

Mark (10/5): We had a delightful stay here. 10/10 all round - We had a delightful stay, the staff were so lovely, as was the room, location and facilities. The breakfast was absolutely epic in terms of choice and quality. A level above the best I have ever had previously.

Steven (8/5): gaan zeker terug, maar voor deze prijsklasse zouden de kleine mankementen verholpen moeten worden - prima locatie en uiterst vriendelijk personeel. Mooie kamers. De verwarming in de kamer was zeer luidruchtig ze afzetten was geen optie want dan was de kamer te koud. Het bad maakte steeds lawaai als er elders een kamer weter liet weglopen. Er hing ook een geurtje in de kamer. over de dagen heen iets meer variatie in de warme gerechten ' morgens mag wel. persoonlijk vind ik 35 euro per nacht voor de parking veel

Thank you Delphine and Joachim and all the staff for being so helpful - The location is unbeatable with everything so near, the hotel room was also very quiet, very large and charming with an excellent deep bath and powerful shower. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas with attention to detail everywhere. Breakfast was very good indeed and served in a lovely cellar style restaurant with candles, great staff and lots of atmosphere. Our bedroom would have scored a ten but could only give a nine as the pillows were very hard and lumpy!!!🙁

We always have a nice walk in shower really disappointing to find a old bath with an unusable shower meaning water everywhere etc sorry dont mean to be rude but..who goes on a short break and has a bath?
DAVID (9/5): The concierge was great but he seemed to be doing every job in the hotel. In two days we stayed there we did not see any - Location is perfect . Staff of one was very efficient and pleasant. Parking is very convenient and safe. Beautiful hotel. Decorated very nicely for Xmas. Breakfast was overhyped beforehand and a little disappointing. It cost €56 for two people. Any eggs other than scrambled or boiled were an additional cost. Fruit did not look very fresh. Bread was not made that day. Juice was limited. Butter was frozen solid. No table service- all self service including coffee/tea. Upstairs carpets and the carpet in the lift need cleaning or replacing. The lift smells and is incredibly slow but the stairs are so steep with short treads so represent a danger to the older or very young guest. In this price bracket there should be more attention to detail in places.
robert (10/5): Hert fijne gastvrije hotel heeft zeker een positieve bijdrage geleverd aan een fantastisch weekend - Ligging is perfect in het centrum en was geheel in kerstsfeer gestyled. De bediening is zeer gastvrij en vriendelijk en begeleiden je uitgebreid naar je kamer. Het ontbijt is ook voortreffelijk. Om de auto naar binnen te rijden moet je echt goed uitkijken, want de ingang is niet breed.

A beautiful hotel, in - From the outside it looks beautiful, and the inside is just as beautiful. The bar area is cosy & intimate, the breakfast area is divine and our bedroom was absolutely stunning! There is nothing not to like!
Gudrun (10/5): Ein „Wohlfühl-Hotel“ mit Atmosphäre - Ein wunderschönes, liebevoll eingerichtetes Hotel mitten in der Altstadt von Brügge. Sehr freundlicher Empfang, tolle Tipps ins Sachen Abendessen und ein Frühstück Buffet, das keine Wünsche offen lässt.
