• Lena (10/5): Beautiful lava-stone quiet old Sicilian farmhouse - loved it! - Like living in real Sicily! A beautiful old Sicilian home with a great traditional Sicilian kitchen. Loved that it was constructed with lava stone! The working fireplace made for a cozy evening with the family. The large covered patio for meals was wonderful and the place had a lot of rustic charm. Lots of lovely little details. The main bedroom downstairs was lovely. The added upstairs rooms were very small and had no windows. We would come back and stay longer next time! Such a great place. It was very difficult to open the big metal front door and the side door was difficult too. When we arrived, the smoke smell in the house from the fireplace was extremely strong and we couldn’t get the living room door open to get fresh air in.
• Florian (9/5): Berghüttenflair meets Mittelmeer - Die Lage ist traumhaft, aber auch recht abgeschieden. Einrichtung rustikal, aber sehr schön und sauber. Ideal, wenn man anti-touristisch oder mit Kindern reist - die meisten sehenswerten Ortschaften (z.B. Taormina oder Syracuse) sind mit dem Auto (ohne Mautstraßen) innerhalb von 45-90 min erreichbar. Gut ausgestattete Küche, sehr schöner Außenbereich und hübsches Bad inkl. Waschmaschine! Es war der Jahreszeit entsprechend recht kühl. Der Ofen (Kamin) funktioniert nur bedingt und wenn man beide E-Heizungen benutzt, fliegt die Sicherung raus. Im Sommer sicherlich wesentlich angenehmer. Anfahrt gewöhnungsbedürftig - man sollte gut Auto fahren können und keinen zu großen Wagen besitzen.
• KATHRYN (10/5): - II Rifugio di Aitna is in a great location for visiting Mt. Etna and is super cute. The weather didn't cooperate so we didn't get to enjoy the great outdoor setup, but it looked amazing and we wish we could have stayed longer.

• Mateusz (10/5): Spokojnie w przepięknym domu - Przepiękny dom z wprost cudownym wystrojem. Bardzo spokojna okolica, duży ogród. Fantastyczna kuchnia. Zarezerwowaliśmy już pobyt w przyszłym roku. Chyba nie było takich rzeczy .

• Lilletta.c (9/5): Il posto ideale per staccare dal caos! - Struttura accogliente, nonostante fosse inverno abbiamo goduto anche dello spazio esterno che è il punto di forza. L'atmosfera è quella di casa propria, il camino all'ingresso un colpo d'occhio. Il proprietario non lo abbiamo mai incontrato, ma comunque check-in fatto in semplicità seguendo le sue direttive e disponibile. Biancheria pulita e anche la casa. Cucina provvista di stoviglie varie per cucinare. Parcheggio privato che è un punto a favore. Posto ideale per staccare dal caos quotidiano. Piccola pecca il camino non riscaldava tutta casa, accendendolo solo poche ore al giorno e le camere provviste di stufe elettriche, che ovviamente spegnevamo prima di uscire, non riuscivano a mantenere l'appartamento caldo, ma comunque sopportabile. Strada un po' fuori mano, ma con le indicazioni del proprietario abbiamo raggiunto la casa tranquillamente. Farsi la doccia è un po' complicato senza fare bagnare tutto intorno, ma comunque bella e caratteristica. Solo da perfezionare per essere top! Ma comunque torneremmo volentieri.
• Luca Alberto (10/5): - Immersa nel verde, in mezzo alla natura, bellissima struttura, con un bellissimo terrazzo, splendido il soggiorno con il camino che ha reso ancor più accogliente la struttura, già di per se molto bella e ben arredata. Ne vale la pena di ritornare per prendersi qualche giorno di relax. Tra l'latro si trova a breve distanza di Nicolosi, dove non mancano locali per gustare ottime cene o gustose pizze. Direi nulla, tutto ok
• Leanza (10/5): - Un vero angolo di paradiso! Abbiamo soggiornato a Il Rifugio di Aitna a Ragalna e ne siamo rimasti incantati. La struttura è immersa nel verde, un’oasi di pace e serenità dove ci si può davvero rigenerare. È il luogo ideale sia per una fuga romantica che per un weekend in compagnia di amici. Il nostro soggiorno nello chalet è stato veramente romantico e piacevole. L'atmosfera rustica, arricchita da oggetti d'antiquariato e dalla presenza di un camino, ha reso il nostro soggiorno davvero speciale. Ci siamo sentiti veramente viziati. L’ambiente è accogliente e curato nei minimi dettagli, con tutti i comfort necessari per sentirsi subito a casa. La pulizia è impeccabile e il padrone di casa si è mostrato estremamente disponibile e attento alle nostre esigenze. Non possiamo fare altro che consigliare caldamente questo posto a chi cerca una fuga d'amore rilassante. Un’esperienza perfetta sotto ogni punto di vista. Torneremo sicuramente! 🌿✨

We managed to enjoy every space even in the cold season. The fireplace is an added bonus! One night stay was definitely too short for this place! Take your time to stay here!

• MONIKA (10/5): - Klimatyczny dom w sycylijskim stylu. Czysty i dobrze urządzony. Fajne patio z tarasem, szkoda, że wieczorem było już za zimno, żeby z niego skorzystać. Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielem. Dojazd praktycznie możliwy tylko samochodem.

• Samantha (10/5): A revitalising, peaceful stay in an authentic Sicilian property, highly recommend to everyone! - This is the most well equipped property we have ever stayed in. The property has been lovingly restored in a traditional Sicilian way but with all the mod cons of the modern World. Nestled at the end of a little lane, we loved the peace and tranquility - we were there 24 hours and in that time only one car and one pedestrian went past. The outdoor furniture was comfortable, with little touches like citronella candles and muslin curtains billowing in the breeze. Based on the slopes of Mount Etna, the cooler air was a welcome relief. The kitchen was so quaint and the two decorative sinks were Instagram worthy! The added bonus was a washing machine in the bathroom. The bedroom we stayed in was really pretty, the bed was super comfortable with quality crisp white bedlinen. The perfect restorative escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. There was nothing at all to dislike.

Very good for family with kids. - - Great hospitality from the owners, thank you for the several bottles of wine )) - If you like be alone and far from civilization, you will love this location. - Property fully equipt and kitchen is full - salt, oil, etc. - Wonderfull garden There are several things to work on... - water pressure is pure in genaral but when you flash the tollet the pipes are empty at all. - few electical sockets are broken and looks dengerouse - water taps in tollet and kitchen are broken - steps to the second floor sceary and very dengerouse to use especcialy at night

• Ronald (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful rustic rifugio very close to Mount Etna. Fireplace was nice in mid March while it's still pretty cool at night. Nice kitchen facilities.
• Gloria (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the outside area, especially our two dogs, who loved to run around in a safe and enclosed area. Would recommend having more cutlery and kitchen appliances. For 2 people it was enough. However, if more people were staying, they would need more.
• Sammut (10/5): Exceptional - We where 6 persons and our dog and stayed for 4 nights. We had a very good time, especially in the evenings chating and joking in front of the very nice and cosy fireplace. On our checkout our dog did not want to leave😅 I would raccomend it to anyone.
• Dariashn (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect stay, far from all the hectic in Sicily. They host is very kind and it will make all possible to guarantee the best stay possible. The villa is big and it has all the facilities.
• Eric (10/5): Beautiful, authentic cottage conveniently located at the base of Etna 🙂 - The property was beautiful and very cozy. A family cottage at the base of Mount Etna where we were able to enjoy views (over the treetops) of Etna spewing a bit of lava in the distance at night. We loved the authenticity of the cottage and the privacy all while being conveniently located on the edge of a small town. Antonio and his sons are wonderful and very friendly. We will definitely be staying here again if we get the chance. Thank you for everything! 🙂
• Stephen (10/5): A private place away from the chaos, but close to all amenities - A beautiful garden surrounds the house, with space for outdoor dining, bbq, space for kids to play, or just to relax and look at the stars. The home is comfortable and fully equipped. The host was friendly and very responsive to messages.
• Ashley (9/5): Really great place, a luxurious and characterful mountain refuge - Tremendous, characterful place near the sights around etna, like a really luxurious mountain refuge. The drive up to etna is awesome! The apartment is really well equipped with wonderful grounds, wish we were staying longer. limited dining and shopping options nearby but it was out of season so many places closed. The lighting in the kitchen was very poor and made cooking difficult. But these are small points and overall it was super value and a great stay.
• Paula (8/5): Benissimo - The house was very nice, the owners put a lot of thought designing each and every room. The kitchen was sooooo beautiful, atmosphere in the place is great. And if you forget to buy a bottle of wine, you can agree with the great host to take one from their collection ( for few euros of course) 😄 The power can switch off if too many electronics are on, but the owner did warn us about it.

• Laurent (10/5): the true Sicilian experience - A great family house in the beautiful Sicilian country side close to Etna hikes …Alexandro and his family took care of every possible detail to make our stay cozy comfortable and filled with pleasure . the fire place being on and stacked with wood … the BBQ area a, the great garden and view . we could not have asked for me and we enjoyed the amazing local produce of the village from wine to veggies and Alessandro’s orange trees . we can truly say that we had the Sicilian experience. loved every thing
