• Stephanie (6/5): - I enjoyed the space; there was plenty of room for everyone. The view was beautiful, and the pool was a wonderful addition. Being just 20 minutes out of town made it very peaceful and quiet. There are some safety concerns with the balcony-the spacing in the railing is too wide, as I was able to fit my thigh through it. A small child could easily slip through, which is especially concerning at 12 stories high. The sliding glass doors also appeared to be broken, and most of them could not be locked. An active leak also began from the ceiling in one of the bathrooms. Additionally, I found dirty pillows stored in the cabinets.
• Ashley (10/5): Our first family vacation was an absolute blast! The kids had a blast at the beach and the pools. And the weather was ju - The views were breathtakingly peaceful and quiet, making our stay truly enjoyable. The spacious penthouse provided ample room for the kids to relax and unwind. The swimming pools were a great addition to the property. There weren’t any restaurants or convenience stores available, especially considering the remote location, which would have been quite resourceful for the visitors. However, there was another resort about 5 minutes away that had a restaurant and staff available when they were enjoying the pool. I had to make multiple trips to town, which is about a 25-minute drive from the resort.

• Adelina (1/5): I will not recommend this to family and friends - The location is good but the penthouse 1203 is bad so look for another place. The penthouse unit we stayed in 1203 Luna Blanca is poorly maintained and is a health hazard. Staying there was not pleasant and not worth the money. It was dilapidated and dirty. Door lock was broken, fridge was leaking, air filters and fans were dirty/dusty. The pots and pans were from cheap Teflon, deeply scratched and all but one were unusable. Microwave is shown on the picture, it was in terrible condition. Windows were unclean and window curtain missing. When the door was fixed on day 3, we had one key to be shared by 5 people. The management apologised but did nothing to make it better. Don’t stay in the penthouse.

• Aalejandrocard (8/5): Great stay at Luna Blanca - I fully recommend it, We are 7 adults and 3 kids family, and we fit perfectly. It is a spacious penthouse. Since it has a bathroom on each room and plenty of room, Balcony and was fully equipped. All bedrooms had their own A/C Unit Easy check-in. A tv was on the living room, and on the two main bedrooms, the two main bedrooms had a bathtub, we really enjoyed our staying at Luna Blanca. Need some maintenance on small details as a window shade was on the floor when we arrived. The main balcony door had a small hit and made a noise when opening. The air aconditioning from the living room wasn't cool enough, but all the bedroom units were working perfectly,

The extra bathrooms was awesome! The location I feel like I liked it but at the same time it was inconvenient. The pros it felt super safe! The cons town was about 20-30 mins away. Socializing with others was harder to do. Having to go to the other hotel and walking to the restaurant was quite tiring.

• Victor (4/5): - Nice place but not maintained well my daughters bed broke nd it took the a day to come by to fix it so she had to sleep on a broken bed not contrable the sliding doors wouldn't lock one of cabinets broken almost fell on my daughter head when she try to open , they dont pick up your trash to me not sanitary , the pool was dirty i had to let them know it took them 2 days to clean it just very bad service there many little issues there its been over a week and i still haven't got my deposit so not very happy with our stay we wont be going there again .

Check in was a breeze, the room was very nice and the view was beautiful. The drive to el malecon is not as bad as I thought it would be so that’s a plus. Overall I had a great stay and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet stay!
• Pablo (4/5): - I don't write reviews but this villa 7 needs improvement. The main door was broken, the key that they gave me wasn't the right key. There is no grill on the 3rd floor like it shows. Your better off staying on the condos.
• Verified traveler (4/5): - Only thing good about this unit property was the ample space for a party of 5 and the staff works very hard to keep the outside facilities beautiful..however the amenities were terrible broken down ,couldn't use the stove it had no knob , some of the sheets were dirty, you could wash, but the dryer was broken and made loud noises the whole 5 minutes it would spin before stopping altogether, the furniture is exactly as pictured, yet looks worse in person, old and stained, the pictures on the walls are horrible to look at daily, both hottubs are junk and don't work properly...it does not deserve to be called a penthouse..only the cost of the unit says penthouse. Normally I go by the reviews but I let the excitement cloud my judgement. This unit should be taken off the listing until they update the furniture and amenities!!! Makes Kivoya look bad compared to other units in same building.

This place is perfect for relaxing and bringing the family. The pools and grounds were beautifully maintained and everyone was very helpful and friendly. They had security for the parking areas which made you feel even more secure. I will definitely be returning next year!
• Joseph (10/5): Great trip to Rocky Point - Luna Blanca overall was a great trip. We arrived on a Friday afternoon, and were able to check in a bit early. The only issue we had. Was that our Villa wasn’t cleaned. Which means it was probably overlooked. We have to wait around for 1.5 hours. Not too bad, but still. We all really enjoyed our stay. We were able to access the resort next door, as well as the Grand Mayan which is 3 minutes down the street. The reason we had a good time is because the property was beautiful and away from everything. We felt safe and comfortable. The villa was HUGE. Great value.

One jacuzzi was not working, no restaurant, grills around the pools and drinks are allow around the pools. Gated resort with security. Averall pleasant place to relax.

One advice I would give is to ask the office about anything you need or if if your not sure about something. Other than that, is one of the best places I have aver stayed in.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great Beach, Great for family! - We enjoyed our stay, my family loved the beach, the pools and the place we stayed in. The only things that caused me to not rate everything a 5 is that I wasn't sure if the extra bedding in the closets had been washed, I recommend that the extra blankets and sheets be put in some type of bags that show they are clean. Also, at the pools the water level was low on some of them, the water features were turned off most of the time, as well as some machines at the gym do not work. These items date the property and start to make it look older. These things weren't a big deal, but I would like property management to take note of what we notice as a guest. Our stay was very enjoyable, yes I would go back, yes I would recommend it.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - if you want peace and quiet and want to relax it’s definitely out of the way, it’s the only two hotels next to each other and you have the whole ocean and beach property for yourself the grounds are very nice, pool area are amazing I would definitely return my only drawback was the suite I was given. it’s about 20 minutes from downtown make sure you bring your own food there are no restaurants nearby and a few overprice vendors that occasionally I let him to the beach area . Now as far as my room in the master suite my shade was broken so I had no privacy I had to set up some towels with some chairs I never once saw anybody from the facility who actually rented out the room or suite to us literally it was an envelope on the door with information like I said if it wasn’t for the security guards they are very helpful not once did I see someone from the facility no one was in your office to help me out or guide me. There was definitely no trash bags, broken coffee maker broken door handles but again could’ve just been the suite was promised a sofa bed we had six people sofa bed was unusable so you literally just had to sleep on the sofa. Made the best of it again the grounds are very beautiful maybe it was our luck just having a bad suite. Definitely improvement on the hosts to show you around and not to have security show you around
• SALVADOR (4/5): - Al inicio nos entregaron un cuarto que ya estaba ocupado. El primer condo 403 no tenia television por cable, y en mi reserva decia tv con cable. Nos cambian a otro condo 803 y el sistema de refrigeración no servia en una de las recamaras. Nunca hicieron la limpieza en esos condos a pesar de que en mi reserva se cargo una cantidad considerable como impuestos por servicios, e incluía la limpieza. Estuvo pésimo, no lo recomendaría.
• Crystal (8/5): - Perfect. Aside from the lack of hot water, but tbh, I think that’s just how it is in Mexico (I’ve stayed at several other places with the same issue). Small hot water heaters? Either way. Love staying here. A bit off the beaten path but I much prefer the seclusion to the bustling city hotels, or places like The Grand Mayan. 9/10 will definitely stay here again, AND SOON! :)

• Verified traveler (4/5): - Ac at master was not cooling, doors at back sliders wouldn’t close, bathroom door knob at master was broken, garage is too small, had to leave garage open cause of medium truck wouldn’t fit and door wouldn’t close.. grill at roof was trashed, extra blakests and pillows were really dirty, no coffe, salt or any other small condiments in kitchen, etc....I’m just saying we paid good money for our villa, I expected a little more from that.

• Joselyn (10/5): 5 stars - My husband and I had such a great time, Luna Blanca really is a wonderful place to stay. It's quiet, it's secluded, it's private. They only allow 2-3 vendors on the private beach....you aren't hitting elbows while you lay out on the beach. The units are equipped with common house hold items. So each day (because I was lazy) we would drive into town for dinner. But you can definitely stock up the fridge and cook. No fast food/restaurant nearby, so plan accordingly. Will only stay at Luna Blanca from now on.
• Raul (8/5): Off the beaten path. - The property is beautiful. The room was the best. No on site restaurant, bar or other amenities. 20 minutes from nearby town or hotel. Pretty secluded. Bring your own food or plan on driving to town for activities.

• Reka (8/5): Beautiful hotel for the once who like it peaceful. - The property is beautiful, the condo is amazing. Armando and staff were very helpful after a little difficulty upon our arrival. After booking, make sure you have directions to the hotel because they didn't do their best to put signs up for people who never been there. If you see the Mayan Hotel entry, it means you went too far. It's the entrance before that. The condo has everything but you have to take your own food or buy it nearby because there is no restaurants at the hotel. You'll have access to the Mayan Palace (5 minutes drive, make sure you take the short cut - ask others how to take the short cuts because otherwise it's 20 minutes) and the Mayan has 2 restaurants, an indoor pool, activities. You have to take shampoo, detergent, etc if you're staying for a longer period of time because they don't provide you things like that.
• Bob (8/5): Nice place with great ocean view - We stayed in for the holiday. The place is very quiet and relaxing. Has a very nice pools it's clean. We had the 4 bedrooms penthouse, very specious each room has its own bathroom. The bad was the dishwasher was not attached properly so it kept tilting, the toaster didn't want to stay on, there were only 3 coffee cops. There is no daily cleaning service so the garbage bags stayed un picked. It's very isolated place and it's good to stay away from the crowd. Nice after all. Enjoy your staying. Thanks
• Mel (8/5): My experience at Encanto, NOT Luna Blanca - Overall, my experience with the hotel and staff was exceptional and very good but I was surprised to find out when we got there we didn't stay in the Luna Blanca as we were led to believe based on what was advertised on the website. Instead we stayed at the Encanto, which was adjacent to Luna Blanca. Little things like not being provided the gate entry/exit code for my vehicle was a nuisance; we weren't told during check-in. Even though, I spoke with hotel representative and manager prior to driving from Phoenix, AZ to Puerto Penasco, to ensure I understood the directions how to get to the hotel, after entering Puerto Penasco, I still found it very difficult to locate it and get there. I had to stop and ask several people, who couldn't speak nor understand much English, how to get there. Direction signs were non-existent until we reached the outskirts of town going toward Mayan Palace.
