• Carolina (6/5): Not my best experience, but thankful for the staff - The staff was certainly the highlight, super professional and attentive, made the stay better. I quite liked the breakfast, my boyfriend who is Austrian said it was average for their standards. There are renovations being done and there was no information on it when booking, which is dishonest at least. Starting at 7 am there were workers in front of our room, limiting our privacy completely. For a 4-star, I thought there was a lack of care in some things, especially in amenities. The only toiletry was soap, the slippers were paid for (and non reusable as they fell apart with one wash at home). The spa was very small, with capacity for 2 guests at a time comfortably in each sauna, and due to skiing everyone went at the same time. We were told the pool was heated at 26°C and ideal for swimming, which was simply a lie. It was an ice bath in the middle of a construction site. And the solarium was available with a 5eur fee (considering a discounted night is 200+, doesn’t make sense). At last, My boyfriend would have liked a bigger TV (theirs is as big as a laptop screen) and a small fridge, and I was bothered by the dirty snow in front of the hotel that made my equipment as well as my suitcase and shoes quite dirty.
• Paweł (6/5): Pleasant - Positives: ✅ Good breakfast, though the selection felt repetitive with fried eggs, bacon, and scrambled eggs served daily. ✅ Great location in Kaprun, making it easy to access ski slopes and attractions. ✅ Nice spa facilities, although the saunas were quite small. ✅ Very friendly and attentive staff, who genuinely tried to provide good service. ✅ Heated ski storage, which was a convenient feature. Negatives: ❌ Major construction next door, with loud noise starting from 6 AM, including unloading building materials. This was far more than just “some minor renovation,” as described on Booking.com. ❌ Outdated room furnishings, which could use an upgrade. ❌ Old and worn-out balcony, in need of renovation. ❌ Muddy entrance mixed with cement, making access to the hotel inconvenient. ❌ No real compensation for the construction noise – the hotel offered a massage, which we used, but it didn’t come close to making up for the disturbances. Had we been properly informed about the extent of the construction, we would have never chosen to stay here. In summary, while the staff and spa facilities were nice, the overall experience was heavily impacted by the construction, outdated rooms, and lack of adequate compensation. If you’re considering staying here, make sure to check whether the construction is still ongoing before booking.

Paid for a room with mountain view, got one with a tree in front of it. Told staff but they couldn’t get another room, only an update for extra 100+ euros. The pictures of the rooms are well done because in reality they are quite old. The beds are with springs, but staff gave us a comfi covers. Facilities could get a four star but certainly not the rooms. All in all an ok stay, but not getting what you’ve paid for room vise leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Don’t sell a room with perks it does not have.

The first one had a balcony pointing straight to the garden and Kitzsteinhorn mountain. The second one was on the roof with a balcony equipped with a hammock. Both rooms were clean and excellent, couldn't wish anything more! ☺️ The hotel stuff was extremely nice, helpful and friendly. Thanks for making my staying so comfortable! In addition, the hotel had great spa facilities, garage for the bikes, and a fitness room. That is, everything I needed to make my holiday superior! Thanks! Definitely will recommend this hotel for everyone who wants to stay at Kaprun.

The first had a balcony pointing to the garden and Kitzsteinhorn mountain. The second one was a rooftop room and it had a balcony equipped with a hammock. Both were excellent, nothing to complain! ☺️ The hotel stuff was so nice, helpful and friendly. Thanks for making my staying so comfortable! The hotel also had great spa facilities, garage for the bikes and a fitness room. So basically all I need to make my holiday superior! I'll definitely recommend this hotel for everyone staying in Kaprun! Thanks!

The hotel was good except that there were no facilities to make a hot drink or even order one. We asked for a kettle and were told they didn’t have one. We asked for room service and were told this wasn’t available. A real shame. The staff were fabulously friendly though and went out of their way to suggest an excellent walk and various restaurants.

• Rethabile (8/5): Delightful Spot with epic views. - Really loved our stay here. Our two bedroom suite was perfect for us with some pretty amazing views. The staff is really great and the breakfasts are worth it and filling with lots of choices. The relaxation area in the spa is a great place to read on a day off from ski-ing. For the price you would assume we would get water bottles in the room and a kettle. We did end up asking for one but it never got delivered to our room. There is however hot water available downstairs at the bar and in the spa.

• Mohammed (10/5): see you next summer - Hi everyone first of all upon our check in, the very polite lady in the front desk welcomed us, and provide us with the electronic card to enter the building and the apartment, she also explained everything regarding the breakfast and the swimming pool, and also gave us the summer card of zell am see & Kaprun. the apartment is cozy and really comfy and has a very nice view on the mountain where you can relax and enjoy the overlooking from the beautiful balcony. the kitchen has everything you need to cook the parking is just downstairs and free of charge The breakfast was one the best meals I ever had in Kaprun, the food was delicious and the service was excellent 👍🏻 I liked how the staff members are helpful and welcoming all the time, I lost my summer card during one of my activities and when I came back I started to explain to the front desk how I lost it, she didn't ask anything :) she just replied: it is OK I am issuing another one for you, I really appreciate that. when we needed the iron they provided it free of charge upon our check out, they gave me and my wife pieces of chocolate as a memory, We valued these values. what I also like is that they didn't ask for cleaning fees like some other apartments include in the payment, we repay this by leaving the apartment as we found it. to sum up, it is highly recommended I won't hesitate to book with them again. THANK YOU Leitner's family nothing I didn't like at all, what I felt a bit strange that the young lady in the restaurant asked us politely to sit on a specific table she chose, I didn't see her ask anyone else from the guests to sit on that side of the restaurant but us. it was fine and has a good view but I just felt it weird :)

• Emilie (7/5): you can find better 4stars for this price - free parking on site - pictures are not exacty reflecting state of the rooms, pictures make the rooms look much newer and fancier than in reality - spa is big but was full so not very nice - for a 4 star and the price, a kettle and a coffee machine in the room are the minimum which are not in the room, you have to ask for the kettle at the reception (if there is one left) - pool was cold, not sure they warm it (or not enough) - rooms are not well insulated, you can ear everything when in the room when people speaking in the corridor -matress are old, you can feel the structure

• Phil (9/5): A Lovely Alpine Resort with Stunning Views - The property is primarily a Ski resort in the winter, but it was well set up for summer visitors. It is located on the edge of Kaprun, but only a short, flat walk into town. Our rooms were large and airy, with a balcony overlooking Alpine meadows and the massive snow topped Mt Kitzsteinhorn in the distance. On a morning sitting on the balcony with a cup of tea, the only sound was the tinkling of cow and goats bells in the meadow. Such a beautiful peaceful place. Breakfast was served in the hotel building and was extensive with both hot, as well as cold items on the menu. The staff were all very friendly, informative and spoke good English. What made this stay special was the Summercard we were given to use. This gave you free entry or discounted entry to nearby attractions. We had free rides on the cable cars to the top of Mt Kitzsteinhorn, Mt Maiskogel, (54Euro & 34 Euro (respectively), a free boat ride at Zell Am See, free entry to Krimml Waterfall and a discount off the Grossglockner drive. We reckon the Summercard saved us around 230 Euros. As its a Ski resort I dont suppose there is much call for aircon in January, but in a July heatwave it would have been very handy. Also the toilet was in a separate small room from the shower room, it didnt have a hand basin in the toilet room to wash your hands in after using the toilet. In a post Covid world it seems an oversight that should be rectified.
• Annamari (7/5): overpriced - Good breakfast, nice small pool and friendly staff. Apartment was a disappointment, felt humid and was no possibility to air it out. Kitchen nook is very basic, room small and bed not comfortable.

• Yurii (10/5): Modern hotel with the included wellness Spa - The hotel is modern, wellness is included in the price. Hotel has 3 saunas, outdoor pool, relax area. In case you are looking for a bigger wellness - Tauren Spa Therme is just a 5min ride. Parking is available. Ski storage room. The staff was very kind. We loved it. The shampoo was missing, but we received it on the reception.
• Iana (7/5): good stay - good location, beautiful views, friendly staff- receptionists and bartender were super helping and amazing, everything was clean the hotel is good, but the rooms need refresh and refurbishment, pillows were super uncomfortable and need replacement, spa facilities is good but quite small

• Terri (8/5): Prefect hotel in Kaprun - Great location, just a short stroll to the ski lift. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and helpful staff. Dinner in the restaurant was also great. Room was clean and comfortable. The pillows on the bed weren’t great but that’s it, and it’s nothing really.

• Anna (10/5): one of the best and most comfortable winter stay I had. - stunning view from the room, very good breakfasts and dinners (in a nice old renovated building!), super helpful and effective crew, nice bar and superb drinks made by a bartender, comfortable spa area with a few saunas. in general - 10/10 !! a bit too hot in the rooms (even after turning ac off), but it’s a minor.

• Anonymous (1/5): miserable - nothing The apartment furniture is worn out and smells bad, also the internet works for some time and then the service disappears, I asked the receptionist to remedy the situation and change the apartment, but my request was not fulfilled. I had to go to another hotel and the booking was not refunded nor did they apologize for my bad experience with them.
