Guest Reviews
- Marguerite (7/5): -
- Hyun Mi (7/5): - The location was good to use bus. There were not enough towels to use for three days. I had to use one towel for the days.
There is no door for the bathroom.
- Julia (9/5): -
- Daniel (10/5): Good place for the price - I loved the location.
There was Coke, Water and some snacks for free on the room
During my whole stay I used the air conditioner, so it definitely works perfectly.
Super clean The sound isolation was not really good in the door at the kitchen/bathroom. I heard a bit more than the people speaking on the next door, however, it was not really a problem for me.
- Andrzej Fraczek (8/5): Good budget option - Clean studio, comfy bed, fast wifi, AC working well
Equipment is enough if you spend a lot of time visiting
Friendly owners The curtains between the shower/kitchenette and the living room are a must... Was very awkward privacy-wise
You can hear some noise from the neighbours
Details like: the knives are absolutely blut so you cant cut anything
Overall, its all reflected in the fair price
- Nickholas (8/5): -
- Anya B (9/5): Clean studio close to public transport - Convenient studio with great facilities, comfortable bed.
Walking distance to Kings Cross Station (one stop away from Martin Place in CBD), lots of buses nearby, close to the lovely neighbourhood of Potts Point with cafes and restaurants and walking distance to views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
I appreciated the complimentary snacks and soft drinks provided! Room could get quite warm so had to keep windows open; windows quite small.
The property was absolutely fine for my stay though!
- Matthew (9/5): - Perfect location, all facilities you would need for a couple days stay. Good value for Sydney. N/A
- Karina Belen (9/5): Good place for good price - Bed was comfy, for the price it was a really good place. And they were really nice for letting us have a late check out. Some noisy neighbours but I understand it’s not the owner’s fault, they were really nice 😄
- Mi (7/5): The host was nice and responsive. The property was disappointing. - The location is convenient, easy transportation and easy walking to sites. The room is too small, not enough space to open up our luggages. There’s no separation between the toilet area and the coffee/tea counter.
- Mark (7/5): -
- christian (6/5): - Lage war super Es gab keinen Schrank im Zimmer und es könnte etwas sauberer sein
- Ana Maria (9/5): -
- Kylie (8/5): Nice location in Kings Cross - It was a nice location. There was a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The check in process was easy. There was no door on the bathroom / between the bedroom and kitchenette (there are curtain hooks high up on the wall above the door - maybe there was one in the past? It needs to be reinstated!
The internet is very slow - watching TV is almost impossible!
- Nicholas (7/5): Good value for if you’re not spending much time indoors - Great neighbourhood, easy self check in and good communication. Comfy bed. Didn’t really like the fact that there is no door separating the bathroom/kitchenette from the bedroom
- Marie (9/5): Really confortable - We recommend this place, the bed is so confortable ! And the room is really cut.
- Norberto (5/5): I'm not happy with accommodations. - The bed was comfortable. The location was great. We were inside Sydney. There were restaurants and bars nearby. Walking distance to the Metro system. The room was not suited to accommodate two people. The owner communicated all the information by WiFi. New country, and we did have WiFi.
- Rob (7/5): Loved Sydney - The property was fine. Clean. Everything you needed really for a short stay. It’s very near to Kings Cross which isn’t the best area. A bit run down and seedy clubs etc. Also, not the best connected transport wise, but ok once you get your bearings. The property was fine, as I say it’s the location that said it’s probably reflected in the price and fine just to use as a base.
- Pauline (6/5): Great value for money - Comfortable bed
Strategic location
Communication with host
Shower Only one window
Small
Cleaning could be improved
Lack of amenities (e.g. hand soap, rubbish bags)
- David (9/5): Excellent location - perfect for solo travellers or young couples - The Mini New Yorker is in a prime location, close to an abundance of nightlife and amenities. Best of all, it is down a quiet street, so you are not disturbed by any noise whatsoever. The only issue was the Internet, which was very weak. Overall, it's in a great location for getting anywhere. Perfect for anyone looking for a bit of life in Sydney! The Internet was very weak - was very difficult to get any signal.
- Bridget (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sonny (9/5): Superb -
- Bat (8/5): Very good -
- Noah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Haruhiko (8/5): THE ROOM IS REASONABLE FROM THE VIEW POINT OF CHARGE, DISTANCE. - THE APARTMENT IS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE FROM STATION. THE ROOM DOES NOT HAVE A WINDOW, WHICH MADE ME A BIT STRESSFUL.
- John (9/5): A perfect spot for a weekend stay! - The apartment is compact but catered to all my needs. Its nice and quiet and a bargain for a spot so close to the city. It was a perfect place to come back to after a full on morning running the City2Surf. There's a great view of the Harbour Bridge from the local Rushcutters Bay park too! Communication from the owner was very good throughout. WiFi is a bit on the slow side but otherwise no issues at all!
- Madeleine (8/5): Very good - Perfect for my needs - had been in Sydney for work during the week and needed somewhere to stay for the weekend. Great location near Kings Cross/Potts Point, small apartment but that is fine if you just need somewhere to sleep and shower (I was out sightseeing during the day). Comfy bed!
- Dik (7/5): Very nice and comfortable room in a great location in Sydney. - The room was nice, modern and had everything you are looking for in a modern day ‘hotel room’. There is door between the room and another room/apartment which isn’t insulated and therefore I could literally hear what my neighbors were talking about when they had a conversation.
- Keltie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Su (7/5): Good for price . - Location is great . Easy to access all necessary services such as supermarket, chemist, bus etc.
Apartment neighbours are not noisy. Would be great to improve cleanliness and scent of the room.
Musty smell when I first entered the room but it went away after open up the windows.
Toilet is not cleaned I believe as hair in toilet and speck on toilet seats .
Scratchy noises on windows at night time which are problematic for light sleeper.
- Wael (8/5): Clean, Comfy, Affordable but small - Very clean, big and comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, many cafes and restaurants around, 5 minutes walk to King Cross station. Good for solo travelers or a couple (backpackers or not many luggages) Affordable unlike others in CBD A bit small, didn’t have a closet, thankfully I had only one small suitcase, the kitchenette is in the bathroom.
Only one key, and if you forget it inside the apartment, it is game over
