• Asia (10/5): Super consigliata! - Weekend di coppia. Struttura eccellente! Molto caratteristica, pulita, ordinata, accogliente, quieta. Lo staff è stato molto gentile e discreto. Il panorama di cui si gode sia dalla piscina che dalla finestra della camera da letto è impagabile. La colazione è stata deliziosa, varia e con prodotto veramente buoni!

• Monika (10/5): Schöne Ferienanlage im Valnerina - Eine sehr schöne, gepflegte Anlage oberhalb von Ferentillo. Suela hat uns zum Frühstück bestens versorgt. Die Anreise war unkompliziert. Ferentillo ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für das Tal der unteren Valnerina. Im Ort selbst gibt es wenige Möglichkeiten zum Abendessen, in Richtung Terni aber jede Menge. In Ferentillo haben wir fein gegessen in La Bettola del Naufrago. Ferentillo wird malerisch von zwei mittelalterlichen Burgen eingerahmt. Alles bestens

• Tuinenga (10/5): - Bij aankomst bij het hotel was er niemand aanwezig en het leek zelfs alsof het gesloten was. We hadden nog maar een uur eerder online geboekt, dus dat maakte het extra verwarrend. Uiteindelijk zijn we maar gaan zitten op het prachtige terras aan het zwembad, met een werkelijk adembenemend uitzicht op de bergen. De tuinman zag ons zitten en heeft vermoedelijk de eigenaresse gebeld, want binnen tien minuten was zij aanwezig. Vanaf dat moment zijn we volledig in de watten gelegd. Omdat er in het dorp niets meer open was om te eten, bood ze spontaan aan om voor ons een heerlijke salade klaar te maken met een plank vol worst, kaas en bruschetta. Wat hebben we daarvan genoten! Na een heerlijke nacht slapen stond er de volgende ochtend een fantastisch ontbijt voor ons klaar. Wat een ontzettend lieve en gastvrije vrouw is dit. Dankzij haar voelde ons verblijf heel persoonlijk en warm aan. Wij komen hier zeker nog eens terug! Niets

• Luca (7/5): - Struttura molto bella con un ottimo potenziale. Posizione perfetta per visita alla Cascata delle Marmore. Colazione buona e abbondante. Purtroppo ci sono state diverse cose che non andavano durante il nostro soggiorno. Partiamo dal fatto che non erano presenti accappatoi o teli da doccia, poi il porta asciugamani era instabile e poteva smontarsi da un momento all'altro. Sempre nel bagno il soffione era rotto e non poteva essere bloccato perfettamente, ma la cosa più fastidiosa è stato il forte odore di fogna persistente che usciva dagli scarichi. Nella camera invece la zanzariera era rotta e non permetteva di aprire la persiana. Non c'e una vasta scelta di cuscini. Peccato perché la struttura è bellissima.

• Dorota (6/5): Average stay - Location in a nice calm town, close to beautiful hilltop towns. Staff was nice to us and provided great dinner recommendations. The room was very basic and the toilet did not flush. The breakfast was questionable - one omelette and 2 toasts made to order for a group of 4 people + a lot of sweet things for us to choose. When we asked for a second coffee to our breakfast, we had to pay extra.

• Mark (7/5): - Excellent location set on a hill with brilliant mountain views. Nice big rooms and good to have a kitchen. Breakfast was very good. The housekeeping left much to be desired, and the cleanliness of the room, including the bathroom, was below expectations. The Wi-Fi connection was weak, and the pool could have been better maintained as well. On the positive side, the in-room fridge was a convenient touch, and it was stocked with a few drinks upon arrival. However, there was no price list provided, which led us to assume these items were complimentary - especially the bottled water, as it had been complimentary at all other places we stayed. Unfortunately, we later found out they were not. A clear price list next to the minibar would have avoided this confusion. We ate at the restaurant two nights; the first night was excellent, however, the next night the quality of the food was below standard - everything was too salty.

• Donald (9/5): This is a beautiful property that offers awe-inspiring views, comfort and friendly staff. - The property is located on a hillside overlooking the town of Ferentillo, with splendid vies across the valley. One of the staff members, Soyla (guessing at the spelling), was a lovely woman who looked after all our needs and breakfast and kept our room spotlessly clean. Despite being from Albania, she was able to communicate with my wife in Italian and Spanish, and even baked lus a special Albanian pastry for breakfast one morning. During our time there, staffing was a bit haphazard. The owners need to ensure that staff are on site for more hours each day to answer questions from guests and deal with any problems that may arise.
• Robert (7/5): Disappointing - The location The room was very dark and had no bedside lights. There were no slippers as stated. The description implied the room had a balcony, view etc from the room but it was from the communal terrace outside. Having arrived at just after 16.00 as requested there was no one there . The restaurant menu was very limited and we were told dinner would be at 19.30. Then changed to 20.00 then changed back to 19.30 but we only found that out from another guest

• Kathy (10/5): Perfecto. Hated to leave. Would definitely recommend as a stop on the Via di Francesco - We loved this property and the staff. It is beautifully kept and clean with every amenity but the best part is the staff. Although we speak no Italian and the staff spoke little English they tried so very hard to help us with all of our questions and they did. The owner went out of his way to help us and even gifted us with wine and a selection of cheese and meat to enjoy while we relaxed on the terrace. The groundskeeper was such a kind gentleman and Ida was super sweet as was the young lady who helped to interpret for us. The breakfast was by far the best we have had in the last three weeks. If we could rate this place a 15 we would. It is just a bit off the trail of The Way of Francesco but so worth the detour.

• Anna (10/5): Exceptional - If I could rate this stay higher than an a 10 I would. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had before our stay. It was about a 15 minute drive from Terni train station to the hotel. We had a very hard time getting a taxi and almost thought we were not going to make it to the hotel, we messaged the hotel and they were kind enough to pick us up and take us to the hotel. The hotel is beautiful. The views are beautiful!! They also offer to make dinner for their guests. We had plans so did not arrange to have dinner there but talked to another guest and said it was really good. Breakfast is free every morning. Everything was very clean, the room, the pool area, the outside sitting area. I would love to visit again and stay longer. I highly recommend staying here. If you need any recommendations or have questions the owner's are very responsive and helpful. Taxi service in the area was an issue, maybe rent a car if moving about the town or pre-arrange taxi service.

• Alice (8/5): If your looking for a quite getaway in the Italian hills with a good view this is the place for you - Gorgeous location, so beautiful and peaceful, lovely space for sunbathing and then cooking off in the pool! Great breakfast with some staple foods but also differentbaked goods each morning. Lovely staff and their lack of English made us brush up on our basic Italian which was fun. Nothing for us, it was just what we wanted.

• Varada (7/5): Good - The property is stunning. It’s family owned, and the brother and sister in charge have done a really nice job with the space. Accommodations were very comfortable. They also were able to accommodate our very late arrival due to a flight delay and another train delay to get to Terni. The area is inaccessible without a car. We were here for a wedding, and didn’t think we needed to rent a car for a single day. But you need taxis, which end up being very expensive (50 euros no matter how close you’re going), Uber and other apps do not work. You are also only able to call a taxi through the hotel or contact individual cab companies through WhatsApp. We felt very trapped because of this, waited 90 min+ at the train station for a taxi (and because it was so late, the hotel called on family/friends to help us, which we really appreciated!), waited a while to leave the hotel in the morning as well.
