Guest Reviews
- Iria Iglesias (9/5): Charming independent tradicional House in a great location - We liked a lot the location and the place was very charming and clean, the sunsets at the pool make of this House a Magic spot in Milos. Despite not being renewed, the kitchen was well equiped. We recommend it for sure. Amazing beaches and Pollonia on the surroundings. The access by car is a bit complicated but otherwise It was fine.

- Osama (9/5): It was a unique and comfortable stay with great staff and convenient access to town and the beach. - It was just great! It was such a unique house. Each piece of decor is interesting, adding to the charm.
The staff were very helpful and attentive, making everything easy. The privacy of the property made it even more comfortable.
It’s just a 2-minute drive to a small town for essentials, and the beach is only 3-5 minutes away. I’ll definitely book it again on my next trip! None
- Ulana (10/5): we really enjoyed staying at this villa, it's unique elegant and authentic! swimming pool is awesome - we stayed connected via whats app and no issues picking up the key
- Georgia (5/5): Passable - Location far away from the center.
To go to the house you have to go through a tiny rocky entrance . The road was dirt road ,we had 2 lizards visiting us in the house , the one was on a bed pillow and we had problems with the entrance door ,the first day hard time to open it .
- Eoghan (6/5): Nice pool and good location if you have a car. - We really enjoyed the pool. It was quite clean and comfortable. The house just need a bit of love. Other than the very uneven dirt road to enter the house grounds, it was an ok location, quite quick to get anywhere. As long as you have a car/ATV. One of the beds was broken. The WC was broken so we only had one working toilet. It was very uncomfortable using the kitchen to cook, the lights didn’t work over the stove or did it have an extractor fan. The kitchen and the utensils were very old and dirty and it was not pleasant to use that area of the inside of the house.
- Rachel (6/5): It was very quaint but overall feels tired - there are definitely somethings that could be improved. - The location and space was great for a family. FACILITIES: in the kitchen the hob and oven was switched off, so it took a while to figure out how to get it working.
The swimming pool wasn’t cleaned whilst we were there and it was quite dirty by the end.
The sun lounges were covered in bird poo.
There was no where to shelter from the sun outside - an umbrella would have been useful.
The shower wasn’t really a shower - it was a shower head over a bath - next to a window that didn’t have a blind??
The cleaners arrived the day before we left which seemed bizarre and then a random man drive up on the same day - announced he was the manager and then left with no explanation to why he was there?
It was all a bit odd.
The accommodation felt a little tired.
- John (7/5): Good - Pool was the best part Bad wifi and the property had character but a little old
- Bill (10/5): Exceptional - The Lady of Filakopi
What a charming, unique & enchanting home! From the antique wrought iron castle key to unlock the front doors to the iron scrolling in the dining room window, this home is one of a kind. Every ceiling in every room has been meticulously laid with bamboo & wood. Every window has its own wooden shutters complete with hooks to hold them open. The front door interior locks are reminiscent of the days of fortresses. The rock arch in the living room matches the rock chimney outside the kitchen and the landscaped rock walls around the lot. The property the owner has left inside engages the imagination of entertainment and dinner parties in an era gone by. The grape vines behind the house remind you of the antiquated winemakers cave house on the property. It is an explorer's dream! That said, I am reminded to let future explorer's know that due to the age of the home there will be some issues. If you are flexible and willing to let go of some modern conveniences you will love examining this beautiful property. Showers should be taken in the late evenings due to very hot water being the only available water until it can cool in the evenings. The clothes washer is nice to have but must be plugged in via extension cord as there are no electric outlets in the bathrooms. These are minor in view of what you come back to after cruising the beautiful waters, perusing the many caves and eating the delicious food around this active, vibrant & picturesque island.
(By the way, our daughter has named the small gray cat who peeks in the back dining room window, Aurora. Please keep her in mind when you visit the market to stock your stay)
