Marian (1/5): Bad - Proximity to the beach. Booked for 2 nights. 1st night a tradie rolled up to deliver roof tiles. Next morning got woken up by a company who were booked in to install solar. Extremely hot day and they wanted to turn power off for approx 3 hours. After an argument with booking agent they decided to leave. Extremely dangerous and non compliant steps going to back yard if hanging washing. Mould infested laundry. I phoned to cancel booking as they were trying to get me to agree to allow solar workers during my stay. They refused. Then offered a 20 per cent discount to my husband. When I enquired about this after my stay they said they had to refer it. They then sent a voucher as a discount to rebook. I just wanted a short break with peace and quiet. What a waste of time. There was no peace. There was no quiet. Extremely unprofessional service.
