• Elif (9/5): Sehr schönes Hotel mit viel Charme, großer Parkanlage und guter Lage – einzig die Zimmer sind etwas klein. - Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es gibt eine große Parkanlage, in der man schön spazieren gehen kann, und es gibt keine Treppen – daher ist alles sehr bequem und ohne Anstrengung erreichbar. Das Hotel ist ein wunderschönes Steinhaus mit viel Charakter und einer ganz besonderen Atmosphäre. Man spürt richtig den Charme des Gebäudes. Auch das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend. Midyat selbst ist ebenfalls ein sehr schöner Ort, den man unbedingt besuchen sollte. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Die Zimmer waren für unseren Geschmack etwas klein. • McDonnell (9/5): Stunning building and comfortable room - Stunning building in excellent location. Easy parking. Beautiful room The restaurant had a drunk and noisy Turkish table. We only dropped in for dessert but none left.
• Carmine (8/5): L’hotel si trova in una posizione perfetta sia per raggiungere il centro storico di Midyat, come pure come punto di part - Struttura fantastica , un tuffo nel passato ma senza farsi mancare nulla in termini di comfort. Forse andrebbero meglio curati i piccoli dettagli, nel mio caso il piatto della doccia era rotto ( unica nota negativa della stanza)

• HALIMA (6/5): Hôtel charmant et bien situé, personnel accueillant, mais nuisances sonores importantes la nuit. - L’emplacement, personnels sympathique, le petit déjeuner qui était très bon! La chambre était située près de la salle à manger et du passage menant à l’extérieur, ce qui générait beaucoup de bruit. Le samedi soir, je n’étais pas au courant qu’une soirée musicale était organisée : la musique était très forte, et avec les cris des spectateurs, j’avais vraiment l’impression qu’ils étaient dans ma chambre ! C’était assez désagréable et j’ai très mal dormi. Le lundi soir, un groupe de personnes s’est installé près de ma fenêtre, autour d’une table, et a discuté très tard dans la nuit, ce qui m’a de nouveau réveillée. Cela a un peu gâché mon séjour, dommage… Avec le recul, je me rends compte que les boutique-hôtels ou les établissements atypiques, souvent installés dans d’anciens manoirs ou petites bâtisses, ne sont pas forcément synonymes de tranquillité. Leur charme réside dans leur originalité et leur ambiance unique, mais leur petite taille et leur configuration peuvent rendre les lieux plus bruyants. Si vous recherchez avant tout des nuits calmes et reposantes pour bien profiter de vos journées, ce type d’hôtel n’est peut-être pas le plus adapté. En revanche, si vous aimez les expériences atypiques et les lieux qui sortent de l’ordinaire, cela reste une belle découverte.

• Duran (10/5): başarılı - Midyat’ta bulunan Taşkonak Otel’de ikinci kez konaklama fırsatım oldu ve her zamanki gibi çok memnun kaldım. Çalışanlar çok güler yüzlü ve misafirperver, girişte sıcak bir şekilde karşılandık. Kahvaltısı çeşitli ve lezzetliydi. Otelin avlusunda kahve içmek ise, taş mimarisi sayesinde bambaşka bir keyif veriyor. Ayrıca otelin kendi otoparkının olması büyük bir avantaj. Kaldığımız oda oldukça geniş, tertemiz ve konforluydu. Midyat’a yolum düştüğünde tercih edeceğim tek otel burası, kesinlikle tavsiye ederim!

However, the receptionist was a bit rude that he knocked our door saying we need to be quicker for the checkout.. (we were already getting ready) That is not professional. The toilet’s door was broken. Dishes were smelling bad. Kettle, glasses etc.

Restaurant staff refused us a glass of wine because of Ramadan (though the hotel is in the Christian quarter). Half their menu was unavailable, allegedly also due to Ramadan. A priest is buried in a nook of the restaurant.

• Eugenio (10/5): Beautiful hotel very kind stuff - The location of the hotel is very convenient as it is at a stone's throw from the bus station and, at the same time, inside the old city. In fact, I would recommend to reach it from that side (bus station) rather than from the main square. The stuff is very gentle and keen to help while the room was spacious, warm and well furnished. The whole hotel is really beautiful and I would recommend to ask for a room facing the courtyard. Oh and they also have a restaurant, slightly more expensive than those downtown, but really worth it and serving alcohol Nothing, it was super!
