• Matthew (8/5): Did the trick for us. We had a lovely time. - This accommodation was perfect for what me, my sister and my mum needed, and at a very reasonable price. Bit of a weird area, but we had absolutely no problems regardless.
• Alex (5/5): One night visit … serviceable but not to be repeated. - The property was ok, in that we had enough space and our own kitchen facilities. Due to the nature of the visit our timings of comings and going’s couldn’t be planned. The kitchen had everything needed and the living room comfortable. The communication of staff was excellent, polite and helpful. The house was beyond freezing when we arrived. We were that cold we turned the house heating on and went back to the car for half an hour to allow it to kick in a little. The property really needs to be warmed in advance of guests. The level of cleanliness wasn’t great. Water temperature was poor. Some garden fences fallen, garden unkept and you had to shimmy round the gate that wouldn’t open properly to get in else you had to stand in mud! We did have two night booked but didn’t stay the second.
• Jones (10/5): Superb, quiet, cosy and delightful! - Home is amazing. Have red some of the negative reviews and I'm a bit mindblown! The house is superb! It has all the facilities you would ever need. Wifi is fast and easy to connect to. Owners are lovely. Area is very safe, friendly and lots to explore! (I discovered the garden around the castle, OMG it's a must! (I think it belongs to the hotel but I walked my dog there almost daily and nobody said anything, it's actuslly connected to the castle anyway). Very easy check in, very cosy beds indeed!! I would and probaby will stay here again if I ever need temp ccommodation in the area. Everything checks all the boxes! Thank you to the owners for such a lovely, warm and quiet stay. Superb! T.V a bit small. Could maybe do with a curtain of some sort in the bathroom (The window is small and frosted glass, maybe it's just me though as other homes are similar like that also). Those are petty things though.
• Margaret (1/5): Didn’t stay as it was disgustingly dirty and would NOT recommend this location to anyone. - Nothing. Shows as a lovely location on booking.com but the reality is far from that. Met at front door by an inch of black dirt and grime. Inside was no different. There was no cleanliness on the location. Previous tenants debris and discarded items not thrown away. Literally 3 spare towels. Old food in cupboards with food and stains. Dusty dirty skirting boards. Wallpaper peeling and paint chipped on windowsills. Carpet stains in lots of spots. Absolutely the most disgusting 🤢 location I have ever had the misfortune of getting to. Upon telling the vendor was told i was only saying this as we had tried to cancel before we arrived and we had a 2 bedroom pleasant house for the price of a hotel. Refused a refund even when requested by booking.com. We had asked about cancellation as we were told our brothers hospital had changed that didn’t happen and we needed to stay having travelled from Ireland to visit his in Glan Clewyd. ) Then there is what is called the garden and driveway for parking. Chained up and dill of garden debris. I have over 40 pictures of stains fort and dust can’t upload them all.

• Anthony (5/5): Passable - Been using booking.com for over 10 years and am an experienced traveller. Stayed for 8 weeks Nice big house with two large bedrooms,large living room with open plan dining and conservatory. Comfy beds Large gardens Two fridge freezers (one suitable for umpa lumpas) Good shower Utility room WiFi excellent Nice village with good local amenities Neighbours on one side are very approachable/ other side no idea but they do have Akitas which didn’t cause any noise issues. Overall a positive stay as we make the most of any situation- the rest of the report is for information and for the landlord to be aware of what could be improved. We paid circa £5800 for 8 weeks which appears to be the going rate for such properties in this area during the summer months. Constructive Advise House not clean enough on arrival - lost count of cobwebs and they appear to have been there for some time - was asked to leave it as clean as found - this part was easy…. Kitchen worktop at sink not sealed Kitchen floor tiles cracked and not sealed to skirting. Kitchen tile grouting to a very poor standard Bathroom floor tile grouting not complete. Front Garden unable to be used as the landlords gardener did not attend until week 7, hedges not trimmed until day before we left. Ragwort present and just cut down, with no protective measures, not removed at the root (this is notifiable to DEFRA) - hedge waste just left and not cleared when extensive trimming complete Rear garden complete with debris on arrival and large weeds after 8 weeks. Gardener did not attend to the rear garden at all during the 8 weeks and some of the weeds were spectacular. Unable to open the front gate fully due to to overgrown hedge even after trimming had taken place - this poses a safety issue when carrying shopping Hoover is useless. No facility to recycle cardboard (landlord had promised this in week 1) so all cardboard left in a nicely arranged manner in the under stair cupboard. No spare towels or bedding left and landlord knew we had the property booked for an extended period. These may have been in the locked cupboards, maybe the cleaner is also locked in here ! Power cable for TV and WiFi run across carpet in mini trunking and then poorly hidden by two rugs - serious trip hazard. Front garden is enclosed but only dog proof if you have a very short dog with no legs so dog needs to be fully supervised. Fri t fence is very low and has sharp edges so possible danger to dogs and children. Back garden has no gate so therefore cannot be secured from the front garden. Leaking gutter at rear causing extensive noise on the conservatory plastic roof when raining.
• Roy (3/5): was glad to be out of the house - location for shops and pub to eat in and take my dog in. cable running across the floor in truncking with two small rugs over it if health and safety saw this they would stop it been hired out front garden is like a jungle absolute disgrace. the free parking is on the street not on a drive.would not use it again or recomend it.

• Ivan (10/5): Nice house. We will consider coming again. - Close to A55 motorway. Great location right in the middle of North Wales with a short distance to everything. I would suggest to shift the check out time at least to 11am - that’s why we call it holiday.

• Zoe (6/5): We got what we paid for. - Great location. Nice little house. Great parking. Great communication from host. Comfortable beds and clean towels/ sheets. Place was clean. House is a little run down however reflected in price. House was very very cold upon arrival had to turn heating up for 24 hours just to get the house to a comfortable temperature. The garden isn’t great for kids or dogs as the fence has fallen down and they can escape.

• Carol (8/5): Only two of us, comfy house shame it rained all weekend. Beds were comfy, kitchen nice size. In all day to find and c - Clean tidy lots of space Could of done with a. Bowl to wash up with and maybe provide toilet roll. . Just a suggestion Tv a little small for the room.
• Noriko (5/5): good for few days with friends not with family with 3 children - house is near to all local shops, internet is good working all around the house, owner is nice , there is dishwasher,washing machine, good size kitchen and nice winter garden. bathroom upstairs causes leaking water downstairs to the kitchen from ceiling , garden is in good size , unfortunately not for children and animals:(

• Samantha (3/5): The house was well placed but needed some TLC. - the location was central to the places we wanted to visit. The bedding was clean as was the house in general. there was a leaking waste pipe to the toilet which was dripping on the work top in the kitchen below. There were multiple damp patches. There were not enough plug sockets although there were extension leads supplied.

• Carless (8/5): Very good - Was very homely and comfortable The garden isn't dog safe, I couldn't let him off lead as he could escape from the front and there's two big dogs barking incessantly from the caravan at the end of the garden. Not recommended for dogs
• Janet (8/5): Very good - Great location, great house & garden. The dogs loved chasing around the mature shrubs in the garden. Wifi was excellent. Kitchen & utility room facilities excellent. Double bed & bedroom were of a good standard & nicely decorated. Bathroom had a bath which I love & you don't always get. I didn't use it but it was there if I needed to. Hosts were very helpful & would have been there if I needed anything. I asked for an early check in & the earliest I could get was 4pm.

• Taylor (9/5): Superb - It was clean and close to shops and take away and a pub and only 10 minutes drive to other places It was very cold we couldn't put the heating on more than 2 and if we went out turn it off so the house never got warm

Beautiful sized conservatory and garden. Gave me the space I needed to get things done. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be booking the property again. Thank you very much.xx There was nothing to dislike about this property. I highly recommend a stay here.
