- Mark (8/5): -
- Silvia Beguino (8/5): - Não estão preparados para o calor, deveriam ter a opção de lençóis para além do edredom,e ar condicionado
- alan (4/5): Awful.Had we an alternative we would not have stayed - Nothing It smelt of damp it was dark and dreary and very small. Nowhere to put clothing or sit
- Wood (5/5): Cheap room. - Parking is an absolute nightmare. Room way too stuffy and had no fan. No where to do hair/makeup etc. Dust on the case near the table where the fridge and coffee is. Bed comfortable but against the wall so not ideal. No bedside lamps as the room is too small. Sleep quality was awful. The owner took her dog out at around 3.15am so could hear his claws on the hall floor outside the room.
- Jenna (10/5): Amazing stay - The owner was so lovely. I got to the place after the latest check in and she helped me get the key out and unlock the door and was very warming on arrival. She explained everything to me about check out and made sure I had everything! Would definitely stay here again!

Very helpful hosts who gave lots of suggestions for eating, drinking, sightseeing. Helped out with parking and wifi too.
A fridge, kettle and tea, coffee, biscuits, water etc provided. Good to have a fan to help at night in the heat. Small room with not many surfaces.

- Derek (9/5): perfect for me and great location and value. Nice friendly hosts. recommended - Great location and quiet location. Great, helpful friendly hosts. Close to everything you would want and good value for money. Very comfortable bed and slept very well. I will use again if I'm in the area again.
highly recommended N/A
- Michael (9/5): Great value room near the busy centre - The partner of the owner - if that's correct - was really, really helpful when we arrived, ensuring our parking went smoothly. The ground-floor room in the individual-looking building is compact, but cosy. Coffee and tea was laid on. I used the fire stick to watch TV. The room is close to a lot of shops and takeaways in a bustling area - and about a 15-minute walk to the beach. We walked west to Gunwharf Quays - about 20 minutes. Wi fi signal was weak.
- Champion (8/5): Great - Bit of difficulty using the sink as its so small but the room was adequate, bed was comfy, nice touch to have chocolate, water in fridge was a nice touch and the customer service was excellent The sink was small,

- Dennis (7/5): Southsea overnighter on - Friendly hosts. Central area. Very small room space. Double bed against the wall. Had to ask for a second towel and chair. Very obliging hosts but it should be set up prior.
On site parking very tight space. Small car access only. Okay for an overnight stay. More suited to a single person.

The little chocolates and real milk in the fridge for tea/coffee were a nice touch My partner found the bed really uncomfortable, though I didn't have an issue with it.
- Dan (10/5): A nice and cosy stay, perfect for what we needed - Great location and centrally located to everything happening in Southsea

- Lorraine (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. The property is situated in a perfect location, tucked away but a minute's walk from bars, restaurants and shops.
The bed was extremely comfortable and the room had everything we needed for a nights stay including thick towels, tea and coffee facilities and toiletries. Honestly nothing.
- Charlotte (9/5): Superb -
- Marilyn (10/5): Great little gem 💎 - Our stay was perfect, we had everything in our room to make us feel comfortable. Our mini fridge was a bonus, only enough space for our milk but it was enough. The room was fully stocked with teas coffee, and a few snacks, it was nice and clean and was also at a good temperature for the duration of our stay. Catherine is a great host, she gave us lots of information about good places to eat and visit around the area. The location is also good everything is quite close, supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs are right on your doorstep. Southsea seafront is a 10min walk or 2mins in the car. Thanks Catherine.

Really enjoyed my stay, there was some water and treats and a mini fridge with milk in it! Even had Twinning Sleep tea! We didn't end up using anything except the treats for recovery and the water, haha! And it's warm..so nice to rest your head in a warm bed! Really enjoyed my stay and will definitely try to do so again when we come down south 😊 Really nothing was at fault, it was perfect for our one night stay and a nice homely feeling which i do enjoy.

- Joanne (9/5): Excellent stay visiting family. - Fabulous location.
Host was excellent. Kept me well informed and provided plenty of tea/coffee/biscuits.
Room was exactly as pictures on website.
Parking permit provided.
Definitely will be back. A small hairdryer would have been good. But everything else was excellent.
- Jurie (7/5): Basic stay - The bed was comfortable, there are nice bars and a theatre within walking distance. The fridge they mention can barely hold one 500ml bottle of water. It was unfortunate, especially travelling with fresh food.
- June (10/5): Exceptional -
- Toni (8/5): Very good -
- Catherine (9/5): Perfect location for our event, great communication with Cass, very comfortable, will return if back on Southsea - Comfortable, warm, clean, welcoming
- Janet (9/5): Friendly, clean, modern and yet in charming old building - Fantastic for what we needed. A nice room near music venue and early morning departure. Perfect if a couple heading for an early ferry. Well, you warned us about the narrow entrance! It was narrow 😳! We made it unscathed!!
- James (10/5): Exceptional - Very cosy and clean. Great host.
- Gillian (9/5): Cosy warm little room. - A cosy little warm room, which was clean and comfortable. Easy free on-road parking. At the centre of Southsea and within easy walking distance of where I went during the evening. Tiny fridge, just big enough for a carton of milk and a yoghurt for cups of tea and breakfast in the morning. Nothing to dislike.
- Sheana (10/5): Had the best night sleep , close to all amenities but still tucked away to be quiet and restful - Great value for money and the hosts were very accommodating Nothing to not like
- Jesse (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, convenient location and friendly host
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location and a lovely room. Nothing not to like.
- Diane (8/5): Very nice place. - Location was key We’re surprised that there wasn’t any toiletries in bathroom ie shower gel so couldn’t shower.
- Robert (9/5): I shall return! - Very clean and bright. Small but had everything we needed for a 1 night stay. Would have liked a TV in room.
- Georgia (10/5): Great property, lots of personality & wonderful hosts,! - The owners were fantastic really lovely and friendly had great recommendations about the local area, the bouse is tucked away down a little side road very quiet and private. The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable lovely and cosy ideal for couples on a little getaway honestly no complaints was fantastic and we will be back.
- David (8/5): Good for short stay and value for money. - Designed to a good standard and quality
Good and helpful communication with the owner. Rather on the tight side with double bed right against a wall and no bedside tables. No light switches near the bed.
No shelves in the bathroom for personal items. No toilet roll holder.
- Kate (10/5): A hidden gem well worth a visit - the room was lovely, tea and coffee making facilities were provided with choices of a couple of different herbal teas as well, showing that the host is happy to cater to everyone's tastes. The bathroom was compact but beautiful and the shower was really nice. The location was perfect and so quiet. there really was nothing bad I could say about this property. I will definitely look to booking it again if I ever stay in Portsmouth. My husband and I have stayed in places and paid a lot more and not been this satisfied.
- Jemma (10/5): Cute room, central location - Cute room, central location, helpful owner
- Frances (8/5): Very good -
- Ginger52 (8/5): Cosy stay. - Room was spotlessly clean, had what we needed. Bed was very comfortable and shower was very refreshing.
Very close to bars , restaurants and takeaways. Parking is a little difficult at certain times of the day but that can't be helped.
- Kaylum (10/5): Comfortable, quiet, relaxing and enjoyable. - This little room is a fantastic place to stay in Portsmouth. It is extremely easy to get into (keys stored in a keypad lock), the room was decorated gorgeously. No complaints about the bed, super comfy and we didn’t hear any noise at all throughout the night or in the morning. Everything was as clean as you would like and anything you would need is provided. It’s a 30 second walk away from a high street full of some great pubs, bars and restaurants. My girlfriend and I particularly liked the garden of the phoenix. On top of all of this, it’s less than a 10 minute walk to the seaside. The parking situation is a touch tricky, but the lovely hostess kept us well in the loop about what was the best option and even offered to move her own car for us to park right next to the hotel, which in the end wasn’t necessary, managed to park on a road about a 3 minute walk away. 10/10 experience at the Grain Store, great value for money, definitely recommend it! I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the Grain Store.
- Mark (9/5): Fantastic - Great location, value for money and hosts welcome Nothing
- Evrae (10/5): Wonderful hidden gem in southsea - Absolutely amazing, as soon as you got in, everything was clean tidy and smelled amazing. There was a sheet of paper with loads of info on, about where to eat/drink and go. The tiny fridge held two bottles of water and some milk for tea/coffee.
The bed was super comfortable, and even me, who doesn't always sleep too well, had a good nights sleep.
The bathroom was a great size, and the shower was powerful and hot.
I could not fault the host for anything, She was friendly and chatty, giving me advice on travelling around and stuff.
There was also a cat, which if you're a cat person, you'll love. Honestly there was nothing I didn't like, I was a little warm on the first evening, but the little USB powered fan worked perfectly. But I imagine that won't be a problem for others as I run very warm
- Christopher (10/5): The Grain store provided everything we needed for a short stay, the host was very helpful. -
- Kevin (10/5): Home From Home, Great Location and Hosts. - It was like home from home and really easy to come and go.
Great Hosts.
Nothing was a problem and even has a Mini Fridge, Kettle, Coffee, Tea and Biscuits in the room.
Lovely and Clean and perfect location.
Would stay again if ever down that way.
