- Al-habsyie (10/5): Excellent & comfy - I just love staying in the mix dorm at Rainbow Bed & Breakfast.Its spacious comfy single bed with your own light, fan,plug point & mosquito net.The air condition will be on frm 7pm till 8am.I can say its like your own small private room with curtain, meaning more privacy rather than the normal bunk bed dormitory that i used to stay at other places.They even gv u free breakfast like toast,eggs butter & jams with tea or coffee.The owner Mr Addy are super friendly same goes with other staff as well.You'll be lucky if u meet Chief, their senior part time staff where u can ask him anything about Langkawi like where to go or what to do on the island.U even can ask him any advice about travelling Malaysia or Thailand.They do offer some tours as well(the vibes is there).By the way they do hv private room as well.I do recommend people to stay here if they're in Langkawi ...😍❤️😍

- Alexander (8/5): Comfortable and affordable - The dorms offer a nice mix of value, comfort, privacy and convenience. The provided breakfast of eggs and toast is a nice way to start your day. The location is slightly off Cenang Beach making it very easy to walk over. The dorms can get a bit stuffy but then gets a bit cold when you turn the fan on. One night someone was smoking in the dorm and the smell wafted and lingered around.

- Sandy (8/5): Rustic charm - Very clean, basic accommodation a short walk from the beach and some excellent local eateries. Addy and manager Aida, were very helpful and friendly. We arranged a motor cycle for the day directly from them, at a very reasonable rate. Breakfasts were simple (scambled eggs, toast, coffee ir tea) but more than adequate. There was hot or cold filtered water available to refill bottles or make other drinks. Although the Rainbow pub was well patronized, noise never disturbed us in our room. Although the furnishings and bathroom fittings were old they were very clean. The shower water was hot, although a bit more pressure would have been nice. The bed provided comfortable nights of sleep. The atmosphere at the Rainbow bed n breakfast, added to the charm of island life.

Apart from the somewhat hard and lumpy mattresses, a nice, clean room. You have to expect some noise from the bar until about 1:30 in the morning. The music is decent, but some guests can be very noisy. If you are a good sleeper, you won't mind. nothing important

- Experienced (8/5): Good budget hotel at perfect location - Very close to the main road without getting all the noise. I had a simple but spacious Family Room with a little garden in front of it. The location is at the good end of the main road, where it is a little quieter and less commercial. I booked the ferry to Koh Lipe at the lodge and got a good price including transfer to the ferry terminal. For the price, there is nothing to complain about.

- Jan (4/5): Needs renovation (status September) - The people working there are are super nice and welcoming. There is a bar next to the dorms in which you can play billiard and meet nice people. The mixed dorm has many problems as of now (September 2024). The pipes in the shared bathroom are leaking at times (toilet and washing stations). Two of the three hand washing stations don't work. The fan that is installed above my bed fell down on me while I was sleeping and hit me in the head. The walls of the sleeping cabins have strange stains on them.
