• Andrew (10/5): Stylish hotel in an excellent location in central HCMC with a stunning rooftop pool and bar - Very stylish, modern hotel with excellent facilities. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The beds are large and very comfortable. Excellent location in District 1, very central and easy to get around to some of the must see sites of Ho Chi Minh City. The breakfast was very good. The rooftop pool and bar is beautiful and perfect way to cool down and relax in the afternoon after a day of exploring. Would definitely recommend for anyone travelling to HCMC.

• SwissTiffin (4/5): We would not stay here again. - The size of the room was great, and the shower was good. The receptionists were lovely. The breakfast could be vastly improved. Really quite minimal. The staff were not very attentive: we saw two of them on the phone, another one eating while tidying up the buffet. Cleanliness: we moved a table away from the wall and found some rubblish behind it, and in general, cleanliness could be improved. Be aware that they do not sell wine by the glass at the rooftop bar, only cocktails, beer and soft drinks.

• Lorena Yamalis (8/5): Gutes Hotel für ein paar Tage in der Stadt - Insgesamt ein tolles Hotel. Die Lobby ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und auch der Pool Bereich im 12. Stock lädt zur Entspannung ein. SAS Personal ist extrem zuvorkommend und bemüht alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Obwohl das Hotel direkt an der Straße liegt, haben wir im 7. Stock wenig gehört. Leider zieht sich das schöne Design nicht durch die Zimmer. Unseres war sauber, aber schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Hier könnte man etwas modernisieren.

Lovely to have new, fresh, and high quality ingredients each day. Staff are lovely, and the overall hotel is wonderful with a great pool & rooftop bar, as well as a serviceable gym, and great steam room. The gym is cramped and the equipment is a bit dated, but it was good enough for my basic purposes.

Prettig personeel, die je herkennen als je terugkomt van een dag stad, dat heeft een persoonlijke tint. Ze helpen je snel en graag. Aanrader: 1) Via het hotel de Cu Chi tunnels geboekt (6uur)dit was echt zo leuk. Onze reisleider Long vertelde zo veel en neemt je echt mee terug in de tijd. 2) zelf je geur uitzoeken en fles-etiket maken bij Mora, zit om de hoek. 3) restaurant Man moi, zit ook om de hoek. Heerlijk en super gezellig. Kamers zijn klein, wij hadden luxe kamer. Dat zag ik er niet aan af. Voordeel een raam, dat vind ik persoonlijk wel fijn. We vonden het jammer dat de bar vroeg sluit in de avond. Na een etentje nog even een drankje op het dakterras hadden wij wel gezellig gevonden. Maar daar zou ik het zeker niet om laten!
• Susan (10/5): Über den Dächern der Stadt in super angenehmen Ambiente! - Sehr schönes Hotel mit außergewöhnlichem Ambiente und viel Stil. Das gesamte Team war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Besonders die Rooftopbar und -Pool mit der tollen Aussicht und der schön gestalteten Atmosphäre habe uns sehr gefallen. Die Zimmer waren ebenfalls sehr schön, ruhig und angenehm. Das Frühstück bot eine gute Auswahl – vor allem vietnamesische Speisen, aber auch frische Früchte sowie verschiedene frisch zubereitete Eiergerichte. Während unserem 2-tägigen Aufenthalt im Mekong Delta konnten wir unser Gepäck dort lassen. Auch das Essen insgesamt war lecker. Für uns war das Au Lac Legend ein sehr besonderer und stimmungsvoller Ort zum Ankommen und Wohlfühlen. Nichts.

Overall, the hotel was very clean." The price was a bit high and the rooms were quite small. We had a major issue with the air conditioning: there was no middle ground. Even at 27°C, it was freezing. We had to turn it off to avoid getting sick, but then we would sweat a lot. Lastly, the bathroom had a floor-to-ceiling window facing the street with absolutely no curtains, which provided zero privacy

The staff is very attentive handling bags and opening doors for you The only thing I could complain about is that the gym is outdoors and therefore very hot in the spring/summer, but you're not going there to work out

• oumayma (8/5): A peaceful stay with a beautiful pool and excellent service, though I’d recommend exploring local cafés for breakfast in - The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming throughout our stay. The hotel is in a perfect location—right next to District 1, so it is within walking distance of everything but tucked away from the main city noise. The rooftop pool is absolutely stunning; although it is a bit small, we were lucky to have it almost entirely to ourselves during our stay. The breakfast was disappointing as it lacked variety and the bread was extremely hard—almost impossible to cut or eat. Additionally, while the location is great for sightseeing, it can be quite difficult to find food options in the immediate area late at night.

The pool area on the rooftop was not very big, but perfect with a beautiful pool with massage jets overlooking HCMC and nice, cosy relaxing areas. The included afternoon tea was a most welcome gift and the breakfast was fabulous with enough variety. The location was also perfect, the staff very friendly and helpful.

The rooms were well-appointed, comfortable, clean and quiet, and the common facilities (bar, pool, rooftop area), although small in area, were well organised, equipped and clean. The breakfast was generally good with a broad range of options. The bar closed quite early (9pm or 10pm depending on where you consulted), which felt like an opportunity missed as there were generally guests in the bar at this time. The breakfast selection wasn't always replenished very quickly - in particular, if you attended within the final half hour, there was little left to choose from.

Nous avions une chambre sans fenêtre, ce qui ne nous a absolument pas gênées. L’hôtel est décoré avec beaucoup de goût, ce qui rend l’atmosphère particulièrement agréable. La climatisation était très silencieuse, les lits particulièrement confortables, et la salle de bain à la fois agréable et très pratique. Le ménage était fait chaque jour avec soin. La piscine sur le rooftop est un vrai plus, très agréable après une journée de visite. Le petit déjeuner est varié, copieux et de très bonne qualité. Un goûter est également proposé l’après-midi avec de petites pâtisseries, du thé et des boissons, une attention très appréciable. Le personnel est adorable, attentionné et toujours prêt à rendre service. L’emplacement est également très pratique pour découvrir Ho Chi Minh à pied. Une très belle adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter.

• Hermann (8/5): - Hotel hat eine gute Lage. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Frühstück hatte eine recht gute Auswahl. Die Zimmer sind nicht sehr groß, haben aber alles was man braucht. Schönes großes Badezimmer. Der Pool auf dem Dach ist sehr klein, reicht aber für eine Abkühlung. Leider ist der Einstieg über zwei ca 70cm tiefe Treppenstufen nicht sehr komfortabel. Wir haben immer eine Liege auf dem Rooftop bekommen. Leider wenig Schatten. Alles in allem eine Weiterempfehlung Wenig Schatten auf der Dachterrasse und Einstieg in den Pool

• Sarah (7/5): Good location for a short stay - Great location. Easy to walk to all the sites and plenty of nearby restaurants. Kitchen closed at noon? We wanted to have a light lunch on the property but there was nothing open. Dining room in the lobby was exclusively breakfast and other meals were only available in the open air rooftop which was quite hot and had limited seating.

• Trung (9/5): Already book my second stay at this hotel, really looking forward to it. - The breakfast spread is great, especially if you enjoy asian food. The room I was in, the deluxe room, was great, roomy, comfortable and clean The overall of the hotel is great, showcasing viet culture and some of our minority ethnic groups. The wall is pretty thin, so you can hear your neighbour using the shower and bathroom, but i’m being nitpicking.

• Simone (9/5): Excellent would stay again - Amazing location walking distance to all sites, Grab was also very good. Staff very friendly and felt like a small hotel. Rooms comfy and good for a family of 8. Room top was perfect. Service was lacking sometimes- cleaning away glasses and basic ordering.

• Fredrik (8/5): Stabilt hotell som dock kan förbättra matsidan och servicen i samband med frukost och pool. - Poolen var relativt liten men bra, det fanns två olika terrasser och gott om poolhanddukar. Något begränsat område med totalt 10-15 solstolar i olika sollägen. Personalen i receptionen var mycket tillmötesgående och hjälpte till med bokningar och fixade duschmöjligheter efter utcheckningen (sent nattflyg hem). Frukosten (och poolmaten) var tyvärr en liten besvikelse. Ingen färsk juice utan bara tre mixade söta halvfabrikat (som eventuellt fanns kvar i behållaren under många timmar, och dåligt med variation av bröd - endast baguette med varierande nybakad känsla. Begränsat fruktutbud i förhållande till liknande hotell. Bra läge.

• Franziska (10/5): - Der Pool ist zwar recht klein aber für in der Stadt super zum kurzen abkühlen. Der Nachmittagstee/Kaffee ist super mit kleinen Leckerein Wir wollten gerne einen Tag früher abreisen weil sich unser Flug geändert hat. Aber leider wurde darauf gar nicht eingegangen aber war halt leider sehr spontan also auch ihr recht.

• Viola (9/5): Posizione perfetta - La posizione è assolutamente strategica, molti luoghi di interesse sono raggiungibili a piedi. L’hotel è bello, letti comodi, bagno spazioso, colazione discreta. Diciamo che per una tariffa più bassa abbiamo trovato di meglio in altre città. Tutto sommato è stata una buona scelta e siamo stati bene, unica pecca : non c’è insonorizzazione con l’esterno. Pur essendo al nono piano si sentiva una musica fortissima sia la notte che la mattina all’alba.
