• Stacey (10/5): A fantastic little property close to town. - I needed a little place to stay whilst I was in town visiting family. This was a much nicer option than a motel room near by. Very well equipped and was ideal for my week away. The hosts were very friendly and communication was very easy. Very impressed and would stay again.

• Tina (10/5): Modern property with everything you need including Netflix. - Cute 'Shed' more like a tardis. Very modern Has everything you need contained inside. Comfy bed, lovely linen, much bigger TV than usual places. Great for watching Netflix from lounge and also turned for watching in bed. Bathroom had large towels, soap, hand lotion, shampoo and conditioner dispensers. Had plenty of toilet paper, hairdryer, heater in heated towel rack in bathroom. Large 1200 x 900 shower with excellent pressure. Kitchen was equipped with the usual toast and jug but had elements with pots and pans, a sandwich press and microwave. Fridge and freezer - ideal to store my purchases from the Sunday Market. Selection of crockery, glassware, cutlery and utensils and to top it off had some lovely cereal incase you forgot to pack breakfast. Close parking and though in between other residences still felt private. Will definitely stay again. If there was anything I would change would consider making the footrest in lounge a pop up table that could be used for dining or changing the taller narrow table to a shorter one with low stools so there is somewhere lower to eat at.

• Cathy (8/5): Overall a great place to stay. - There were cereals available which was great but I had my own food. Location was walking distance to shops and the CBD which I enjoyed. Property was very clean and had everything I needed. Would definitely stay again. Had a little mishap due to the heavy rain overnight which was a little inconvenient but Chris sorted this in a timely manner. This was unfortunate but would not stop me from returning to this property.
• Mira (10/5): Excellent - Spotless and comfortable. All comforts available. As an older person, I would prefer to sit on a chair rather than a backless stool. We ate off our knees in a lounge chair.

The owners had clearly put a lot of thought and care into the conversion of this property. Beautifully presented with everything you need for a short stay. Parking space next to the property, which is located behind the owner's home. Small veranda with comfy outdoor seating. Nice big bed. Clean and modern bathroom and kitchenette. Tea, coffee plus some cereals and biscuits were supplied. Great location. Whakatane is a lovely town with nice promenades along the sea front. No proper dining table - but there is a "breakfast bar" with stools, and not really space for a bigger table. Further to walk into town than we expected, but the town has various eating places, shops, etc and everything is easy to get to. There are plenty of places to park in the town.

• Shelley (10/5): Lovely little shed - Very cute little shed, in a great location for us, with everything you could need. Nice to have cereal for breakfast and chocolate biscuits as a bonus. Spotlessly clean, quality linens and well set out for a small space. On-site parking was easy too.

A cracker of a "shed", which has been beautifully renovated and has everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable, quiet stay. Really enjoyed our 3 nights there, absolutely perfect!! • Brian (10/5): A very nice quiet place to stay - It was a very quaint room/shed with all very modern facilities, very clean and cosy. I didn't need heating during my stay but I think it would be required in winter. Off street parking was great. Nothing.

• Lisa (10/5): Top Little Gem - The Host came and introduced himself, showed us where everything was and how things worked. The studio was spotlessly clean and smelt great. There were some lovely little extras that were very appreciated. The bed is so comfortable and the shower pressure is top notch. It is off the road and behind the house so it is very quiet for sleeping. We will be coming back again.
• Riley (9/5): Pleasant, quite & refreshing place to stay that's my personal perception - I felt very comfortable staying at this property quite suburb of Whakatane very nice hosts with a very clean & fresh facility that's quaint in its appearance from the out side, inside is a spacious for your stay be it one or several nights. Would I stay there again, absolutely. How quite it's was, away from the hustle & bustle of being on a main road.
