- Kjerstin (10/5): Fun and beautiful farm stay on Sao Jorge - The property was beautiful with an incredible view of Pico and the ocean. It was so fun to share the property with all of the sweet farm animals. I enjoyed feeding them all treats available for purchase in the community kitchen area. I also appreciated the fresh bread, eggs, cheese and oranges for breakfast. That was unexpected. We also used the washing machine and loved the soap you had for sale. We were planning a run to the grocery store and to try to hand wash our clothes. The food and soap available for purchase on the farm stay made our lives much easier.

- Teresa (10/5): Delightful farm amd comfortable stay on Sao Jorge - We love this place and wish we could spend few more days here! The room is compact, clean, new and modern with view to the Pico. Just 5 minutes walk to the beach, well-paved biking/walking trails. We enjoy visiting the animals in the farm. The breakfast concept and in-house shop was convenient and very good idea. We like the „assisted“ self-catering concept. Just 10minutes drive from the airport and 15min to the ferry terminal. We look forward to coming back! nothing.
- Robertina (10/5): Beautiful peaceful setting with all you need for comfort. - A lovely peaceful setting, only a few minutes from the airport but feels like you’re in the countryside. The room was spotlessly clean, a the bed was very comfortable. It was great to have air conditioning since it was warm outside. Access to a huge shared kitchen/dining/living space with everything you need to self cater. The owners were so hospitable, and each guest has a freshly baked loaf of bread every morning, and eggs from the farm. A real delight to stay here. Just be aware that the sliding door that separates the bathroom from the bedroom is glass, only partially frosted, so it’s not very private if you’re sharing the room.

- Diana (10/5): An absolutely wonderful stay! - Amazing place, with a lot of soul. The views and the surrounding areas are exceptional. The bio farm is beautiful, peaceful, and impeccably maintained and you can really feel the care and passion the family puts into everything they do. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the start. The highlight was definitely the fresh homemade bread they bake for all the guests, which was delicious! A perfect mix of comfort, authenticity, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended! Sliding almost transparent glass door for the toilet 🙃

- Corina (10/5): Perfect stay - Super close to the airport but still super quiet since only few small planes arrive per day. Small sandy beach in 5min walking distance, your own bread every morning. We used it for sandwiches for the day as well. Homemade jams, cheese and eggs from the farm. And the best banana jam ever! Super clean, cute animals in site and the people super helpful and very kind. There is even a small kind of shop where you can buy wine, more cheese, tuna and other things. Washmashine was also very nice to wash our clothes after travelling for a while.

A vista é simplesmente deslumbrante, com o mar e o Pico em pano de fundo, as acomodações confortáveis e os anfitriões irrepreensíveis, sempre atentos — e ainda tivemos a alegria de conhecer o pequeno Manel, um bebé adorável e os animais da quinta. Todas as manhãs éramos presenteados com pão acabado de cozer, que tornava o pequeno-almoço ainda mais especial com aquela paisagem única. A proximidade ao mar, aos passadiços (ciclovia) e à pequena praia, aliada às bicicletas disponibilizadas gratuitamente pelo alojamento, permitiu-nos desfrutar ao máximo de cada momento. Adorei a experiência e tenciono regressar com a família.

Les animaux sont très bien traités et très amicaux, notre fille de 2 ans a adoré! Nombreuses initiatives biologiques et écologique, Miguel est un passionné et il la partagera avec vous! Tout est confortable, propre et bien entretenu. Mention spéciale pour les espaces communs (salon et cuisine) qui sont géniaux, et bien sûr le petit déjeuner avec pain brioché frais chaque matin, œufs La vue sur le Pico est exceptionnelle, quand il veut bien se montrer… Pas d’équipement bébé

In de ochtend krijg je vers brood en eieren, er is een grote gemeenschappelijke keuken waar je zelfs gratis je kleren kan wassen. De ruimtes bieden niet veel privacy en er kan geen raam open, gelukkig is er wel airco.

- Hubertus (9/5): Relaxing, happy, friendly, comfortable stay. - This is a very welcoming and friendly place. There are six double bungalows made of thick basalt with a seating area in front. Across the sea is mount Pico, always a beautiful sight. On site are great facilities with full use of a well equipped kitchen including a washing machine in the large common room where breakfast is taken. Claudia puts the breadmakers on over night and there's a large fridge if you need it together with produce you can purchase. There are bicycles (no charge) and of course the animals, a very friendly donkey and goat who like cuddles. It took us several nights to work out who was making the ghostly sounds after sunset- loved it. The breakfast was a little monotonous and adding a some variation would have been great.

Large common area, fully appointed kitchen and dining area. We did wander through the farm down to the beach and it has beautiful views of Pico Mountain. Good location for moving around the island. Wish we had stayed longer.

Everything at the property was well cared for, the kitchen was huge and well stocked, the rooms were clean, beds comfortable and shower water pressure was good. Extra touches like daily fresh bread, eggs and farm produce made you feel at home on the farm. It was amazing to wake up to epic views of Mt Pico and have access to a small private beach.

They have so much space and the donkey and goat are in a little dusty/muddy area, the chickens are also in a small area and many are losing their feathers from stress or from picking each other, none have access to grass. It made me quite sad.

As we had no rental car on the first day so they recommend us a really friendly taxi driver. The next day we walked to the airport to get our car. We had a really nice welcome with a tour around the kitchen, open space and our nearby room. The kitchen is great. Really clean and with everything you need. Also the possibility to buy some extra staff like tomato sauce, noodles, wine, animal treat,.. Our room was also nice. For breakfast you have everyday fresh bread, jam, cheese and eggs. Really comfy bed, nice bathroom and place to put your stuff. In the cupboard there is also a tea maker, sink and fridge. We had a beautiful terrace. So we cooked every evening and enjoyed the insane view to Pico. The animals are really lovely and it was great to feed and pet them. A beautiful black beach is nearby. Our favorite place where we stayed. And we were on four other islands. We would definitely come back! Obrigada and thank you for having us! Absolutely nothing
- James (10/5): Amazing! - This property was amazing and so much fun. First of all the owners were delightful and so friendly and helpful. The rooms were modern, simple and comfortable. Beds extremely comfortable. Large bathroom with a high pressure shower and lots of hot water. Small refrigerator in each room. The view was amazing looking over at Mt Pico. Every morning, each guest had their own bread maker with fresh bread, fresh farm eggs, and you could even pick fresh strawberries out of the garden. There was a communal kitchen that was a cooks delight with everything available to cook a gourmet meal. Finally, the animals! Fiona the donkey, Belley the goat, Pepa the pig, and lots of chickens, roosters and even a turkey! We loved feeding the farm animals. Truly a unique experience for city folks. Location of property was central and 10 minutes to the airport. Absolutely nothing!

- Jax (8/5): All of the staff on the farm was super helpful and accommodating. We hope to return! - The farm is really adorable and has an awesome view of Mt. Pico on a clear day. We came towards the end of the growing season, so there wasn’t as much produce available, but they had fresh bread and other goodies for our stay. There isn’t very much nearby in terms of restaurants. Even though they have bikes available, it seems that it would be better to have a car while on the island.

- Anna (10/5): Amazing stay!!! - Everything! The kitchen was gorgeous and making meals and eating them while watching the sun set over Pico was one of the highlights of our entire trip. We loved that we could borrow bikes, and we also loved the beach near by. The owners were so kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and large. Everything was perfect!
- Laetitia (8/5): lovely! - your own private little “bungalow”. we loved how quiet it was. there is not much nearby, so you’ll have to make sure you get to go to a supermarket. the supermarkets are pretty far and not too appealing.

- Andres (10/5): Perfect place for disconnect and relax - The views to Pico island, the sunsets from the terrace, the proximity to the beach (where you are basically alone), Miguel (the owner, very helpful planning the visit around the island), the animals and the organic food you can grab in the morning for breakfast. If you are looking for a good and reliable internet connection, you might find some issues. This was not our case so we did not have much problem with it.

- Sophia (10/5): A perfect place to stay for this who want to enjoy good views and disconnect from the city stress! - Amazing and cute, very relaxing! wished we would have stayed there longer. Love the possibility to pick strawberries in the morning. Nothing! Well, you can’t order dinner or so there, but you can borrow bikes and go to a few restaurants that are about 2 km away.
- Ashly (10/5): Safe heaven in Sao Jorge - We loved staying at the Make It Happen Farm. Miguel, his girlfriend and Claudia were very friendly. The animals were so cute. We wanted to take them with us. You get every morning a fresh baked bread with homemade marmelade and local cheese. You could even pick fresh organic strawberries in the garden. We were very sad it leave the place and would love to come back for a longer time. Many thanks for having us. Highly recommend!

- Nelson (10/5): Place worth to stay. - I liked the close interaction with farm & nature as well as easy access to a beach close by. Nothing relevant to highlight: just suggest to have a bathroom door not transparent.
