Guest Reviews
- Neil (10/5): Magical - Everything was beautiful Nothing as such that I did not like
- Tanay (10/5): A cozy, beautiful view, hygienic and a must visit place for relaxation and calm mind. - The location. The location is the best. A magnificent and very beautiful view of the Kempty Mountain Range with a surreal view of the snow capped Himalayan Range. Very friendly staff, clean, hygienic and a perfect place for a romantic getaway with your loved ones or a perfect family get together. Nothing just a very trendy tiny issue that the rooms should have a mirror. That's it, everything was perfect.
- Harshayu (7/5): -
- RADHIKA (9/5): - The view is amazing from balcony. You get to see Mount Everest on a clear weather. The rooms are comfortable. The food was average. There wasn't much option.
- Hadar (9/5): - Wa had an amazing stay! The rooms are wide, clean and well equipped - comfortable bed, TV with movies, heater and more. The best shower I had in India! Amazing hot water. The staff was very helpful and pleasant, very good service with everything we needed, including a good restaurant. The view from the balcony is amazing - can see the mountains from the room! The location is around 15 min ride from city center so it allows a very peaceful and quiet stay with every you need indoors. Drive to the hotel is a bit far... But it allows mountain view and peaceful stay
- Priyanka (8/5): -
- Narasimman (8/5): - Clean space and scenic view The person asked for advance amount in call and demanded some money to deposit
Told me Booking.com asked for 20% from customer when I asked for proof he hang up the cal
No proper route to the place
- Vikas (10/5): Exceptional property with superb scenic view. - Ambience, facility, food, hospitality
- Vikas (10/5): An offbeat place - The place is away from the main centre and as the name suggests is an 'offbeat escape '. We were the only 2 guests at the entire place. But we didn't feel unsafe at all. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The views from the room were stunning. The food was also good.
- Yash (4/5): Disappointing overall—despite the beautiful view, the frequent power cuts made it unpleasant. - It did had an amazing view. We went to the hotel with an infant, and the intent was to sit in the room and relax with the view, for which it was perfect. It gives a nice view for sunsets. We experienced frequent power outages at the property, and although there is a generator available, it was rarely used. One night, we were left without electricity for nearly two hours until we escalated the issue to the hotel staff. Initially, no one answered our calls, we went to reception to check as well but the doors were locked. Once we made contact on the 4th attempt, they claimed that nothing could be done and that the fan couldn’t run on the inverter. When we pointed out that the property should have a generator, they admitted it existed but said it was only used in the mornings.
After several phone complaints, they finally agreed to switch on the generator, but by then the experience had already left us frustrated and disappointed. While the rest of our stay was fine, this issue was a deal-breaker. In today’s world, not having access to a basic amenity like electricity is simply unacceptable.
To make matters worse, our baby was very uncomfortable due to the rising temperature and lack of ventilation. Although it was cool outside, opening the door led to an influx of bugs, leaving us stuck in a room with no fan and a cranky child.
- Meghamitra (9/5): Superb - Location, food, staff behaviour and ambience everything was excellent over there
- Ashokka (10/5): paradise of quite countryside with blissfull valleyview and great food - Warm hospitality, very connected and responsive owner-couple, they reached out by message a week in advance to provide assistance
Property is 3 kms away from the commercial congestions and this is blissful paradise and treasure, just birds and breeze
The food is amazing, in-house chef who makes fresh food and awesome taste
nice early morning walk down the greeneries
The gravel road is wide enough for cars and jeep to go and reachable by google maps
it was second week of april, and temp does drop to 12-16 up in mountains at night , hosts gave a room heater and thick sheets :-) The stay is for those who want peaceful quite place with sunrise view and calm country side vibes.. not for touch and gos best suitable for 2 nights stay, we had only one night at hand
Next time we would skip Mussoorie and have two nights in Dhanulti itself
- Maurya (10/5): It is located at offbeat location, you need to drive 5 km around 14-15 mins on offroad so try to avoid to reach after su - Overall atmosphere is good Nothing all are good
- Ashish (10/5): Exceptional - Very good property. Sparkling clean. Great view. The best part was the awesome food prepared by the chef. Nice offbeat place for a wind down. Nothing to dislike. The road to the place is not motored for around 4 km but not too bad and is manageable.
- Nandini (9/5): Superb -
- Giriraj (9/5): Overall a great experience. Can experience nature at its best. - The resort is around 20 minutes from Dhanaulti main road. The cab winds around a dusty mountain road off from the main road to reach the resort which initially appears isolated and 'frightening'. But the view of the Himalayas from the resort is exhilarating and beautiful. The staff are very courteous and make you feel at home. I should thank Mr. Rahul, the 'very young' care taker for making us feel comfortable. Mr. Chen Singh, the cook prepared wonderful and tasty dishes for us. We really relished the food. The cab had been arranged by the resort. Mr. Jayaprakash Uniyal, cab driver was very well behaved and made our outside trips very interesting. He picked us up from the airport. We made trips to Tehri dam, Surkanda Devi Temple, Kanatal adventure park and Dhanaulti eco park. We missed the jungle jeep trip. The rooms and toilets are well maintained and clean. The bedspreads and towels were very clean. Hot water was available from the taps. Inspite of the biting cold, we had a wonderful time. Since the temperature during night was touching 2 to 3 degrees, we were feeling extremely cold as we were not used to such cold. We had wished that the room heating could have been better.
- Prateek (8/5): Very good -
- Vikrant (3/5): Poor - Place is beautiful and peaceful. Great secenic beauty.
- Vaibhav (9/5): Superb -
- Yogesh (10/5): Amazing stay overall , no noise and very peaceful stay - Amazing views, made with lots of detailing.
Rooms are excellent and well made , very thoughtful. Peaceful surroundings The road to reach is more of off-roading of 5 kms which is bit uncomfortable but worth a memory
