• Rive (1/5): Een keer maar nooit meer - Wij kregen een upgrade Ondanks de upgrade was dit de slechtste hotel waar we ooit hebben verbleven. De kamers waren vies, met een plakkerige vloer en een airco die alleen in het Engels werkte. Er werd niet schoongemaakt tijdens ons verblijf. Bovendien had de kamer een lek dat duidelijk merkbaar was tijdens het douchen, en de wc trok niet goed door.

• Jalen (10/5): Local stay for an authentic experience! - We loved it here. The hotel is across from a school so it was lovely waking up and hearing kids play while we walked to our destination. The staff were exceptional! And the breakfast was delicious. We had Beef noodles every morning with fresh broth. The staff were so understanding and forgiving too! The beds were so firm and comfortable and the room darkens to be pitch black. Best sleep ever. The laundry of a washer and dryer was also very convenient! The water pools if you don’t angle the shower head correctly. Other than that is was great!

They have solid management. I suggest they put indications as to what type of meat 🍖 they use in preparation for their morning meals. This will give a clear indication of what to eat and what not to eat.

• Bing (8/5): - 外卖可以送到门口，早饭有现煮的新鲜河粉。 离地铁虽然不远，还可以算比较方便，但是也是稍微有点距离了，步行七八分钟，一路上还都是电子小商贸城之类的，人流量特别大，如果想坐地铁旅玩广州的话每天要走这段路不会是特别愉快的步行。 浴室淋浴间的屋顶太矮了，一米八往上的人得低着头洗澡，站不直。

• Wiman (10/5): Comfortable and Convenient. - Stayed along with Family. Room is clean, comfortable and spacious, good air-conditioning which is a great for their summer. Location is very convenient to the city and easily within walkable distance. It's a little hidden inside an alleyway but adds to the holiday exploration. Breakfast was good to sit and relax. Has a cheap convenience mart next door, good for drinks and snacks. Thanks to Deng Cong at front desk who went the extra mile to make us feel welcome.

Comme c’est pas sur la rue principale, la nuit est tranquille et silencieuse. La salle de fitness est petite et simplement équipé dans le couloir publique.

Staff friendly and helpful. Noisy during weekday as the hotel near to a Primary School. The heater in the room not working well as the water pressure for hot water very slow.

The closest metro station it was Donghu Subway Station, located about 710 mts away from the hotel. The hotel is a bit outdated, the photos shown on Booking are different from reality. The staff speak too little English but they use a translation app to understand you . I missed some more lighting in the toilet. Toilet ceiling is too low.

• Tim (6/5): Good location, disappointing breakfast. - The location of the hotel was very good; close to the metro and relatively close to authentic Guangzhou. The beds were comfortable. Next door there are several minimarts with cute cats. We were excited for the breakfast based on the pictures on booking. This was actually (very) disappointing; the fresh baked goods on the photo were missing at all, the Chinese food in the pots were cold and overall the quality was low. The staff were helpful, but they don’t speak English. The first night we smelled some fungus in our bathroom, but this was gone the second day.

• Yousef (6/5): Overpriced - Staff is very polite and helpful but no English whatsoever- thanks to translation devices-they allow late checkout till 2 pm. Rooms are spacious and super clean. Toilet ceiling is only 190 cm high. The nearest metro station is Donghou exit B2 on metro line 6 it's exactly 950 steps from metro station to hotel with many shops around while walking. This Citynote hotel is a two story hotel in a high rise building, they show the high building in the pictures to deceive visitors. It's a basic hotel with basic facilities. Most of pictures are not showing the real hotel. Breakfast is basic menue and becomes boring from second day. Hotel located in traditional neighbourhood (to me that was great). Hotel is overpriced.

The stay includes breakfast, which has quite a variety of Eastern cuisine. The bed is huge for 2 people. The service of the staff there are good as they helped us to book a cruise ride at Dashatou Pier. The location of the hotel is slightly further from the train station by walking. We have to pass through a few small roads from the nearest station exit, which is difficult to navigate to the hotel. The room toilet seems to be shorter than normal with small shower space despite having a big bathroom
