Guest Reviews
- Enrique (1/5): Avoid - Several issues we encountered at the property resulted in us having to check into a local hotel.
We were forced to leave after one night due to multiple serious issues that rendered the apartment unsafe and uninhabitable for my family, including our young child:
1. Radiator safety hazard – a radiator fell off the wall.
2. Cleanliness issues – floors and carpets were visibly dirty and stained.
3. Broken washing machine – it failed during use, requiring us to pay for dry cleaning.
4. Structural hazards – loose door frames, loose kitchen cupboard, smashed hob glass.
The property IS NOT SUITABLE to accommodate guests.
- Sarah Sutton (1/5): Property not fit to receive guests - refund not received despite assurances nearly two weeks later - It was not clear that the front door was not on the street, but behind it, I had to call to find out (and they didn't seen to know). I was told it was the top key box and tried to access for some time, but it was the bottom. As I was on the phone at the door checking in - someone on the phone tells me the cleaners are still in the property - and as I was checking in an hour later than I expected I was not happy about this. Upon entering, there was a musty/mouldy smell in the property. Then as I walk into the main shared space - the freezer door is open with towels on the floor, next to a huge puddle of water. A noisy fan is on defrosting it. There is mould in the fridge and the carpets did not look clean.
Clearly we could not stay, and as we had arrived to go to a friends wedding had to book into near alternative accommodation asap. Their agent asked me to send my new booking receipt to an email address and said my refund would be processed. Nearly two weeks and several messages telling me the same thing later - no refund has been receieved.
- Dominika (7/5): Great general but you must bit fix small things - My family happy.
IT was very Hot 3 days i bought 2 fans.
No Air con, boiler was Hot from Hot water.
But Yes i can Recomended for spring autumn perfect. Location perfect beautiful area. QUIET AND ni e people arround. Restaurants, shopping fantastic. Few things fridge full of ice and water,
No wentilation enough, kitchen broken but work and wash machine work but need service check and change filter, drain, pomp doesnt work. Small thing you need fixed.
- Paul (8/5): Very good - Loved the layout and the private garden There is some maintenance needed and the property requires a deep clean. Had to stop my wife who is a cleaner from cleaning the main blinds that were full of dust. I think with a deep clean and some maintenance done the place would have a perfect score
- Ejikemenwa (9/5): Excellent apartment in a great location. Host should be more responsive and accommodating - Apartment is excellent and in a great location. Host was not responsive to any issue we had while at the apartment and was not willing to assist in any way at all whether it was a request for early bag drop off while the place was being cleaned to minor convenience requests. Internet only worked on TV for the entire duration of our stay hence no WIFI was available for our devices and the problem was not rectified despite several calls. Sanitary supply was provided for just three days while we stayed for almost 2 weeks.
- Marion (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peggy (4/5): Disappointing - It’s a spacious, modern 2 bedroom apartment and if looked after, it will be a nice property to stay at. It is not looked after. Heater was off the wall. Some lights did not work and other things which need fixing. It was not properly cleaned when we arrived. We didn’t feel that it was a cosy place to stay at with children.
- Raymond (10/5): Exceptional - I had a great stay at this cozy 2-bedroom house in Twickenham! The private garden was such a nice bonus – perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or relaxing in the evening. The house was clean, well-equipped, and had a lovely homely feel. The location was super convenient, with shops and restaurants nearby, and it was easy to get around. The host was friendly and responsive, making sure everything was smooth during our stay. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful spot in Twickenham!
- Nida (10/5): Lovely stay, beautiful and clean property, would recommend. - Absolutely beautiful property, lovely layout, very convenient because you have all appliances for cooking plus it has everything arround- shops, restaurants, banks etc. enjoyed my stay, would deffo recommend.
- Daenerys (4/5): The worst management ever. - The location is very convenient, outside street is full of shops and restaurants, Tesco express 2 mins away. Bus stops are just 1 min walking, directly to Twickenham train station and couple of stops to Richmond. Walking distance to the riverside, nice view and relaxing. The management is very disappointed. Me and my family stayed here for 18 days due to the house I rent was still in redecoration, so I got so many things but not only two luggages in the house, we were not travellers. On the checkout day, my family left two blankets (new with label on) and many cosmetics (3 ppl’s different creams, many bottles) in the house, I found out in the afternoon and contacted the management straight away. But the replies were “the cleaner didn’t report any of these stuff”“you going back to the house it’s challenging for us”and “unfortunately the cleaner dumped all of them and it’s our policy” bla bla. I believed any normal person could make a judgment that all these things were left behind by the guests but not rubbish. And this company refused any compensation for my lost and denied it’s not their negligence.
But booking.com was a good and responsible flatform indeed, they helped me solved this problem, thanks booking a lot!
