• Charlotte (5/5): Lovely views. - Loved the views and the open space. The privacy and quietness. Size of the rooms were good. Nice big dining table. Nice furnishings. Nice crockery and glassware. Good size fridge. The shower is great and great to have laundry facilities. The view is outstanding. The hob. Honestly insanely disappointing. The host did try to help via messaging. However the hob just kept on cutting out. My husband of 6’3” stood on a chair to reset the button above the hob numerous times which sometime resets the hob but not always. It made cooking extremely difficult. If you’re below 6’3” you won’t reach the button anyway. The small single bedroom was full of cobwebs. And has no place to properly hang up clothes. Definitely need more baking sheets and roasting dishes. Properly looks more modern in the photos than it is. In reality it’s a beautiful old building that needs some tlc. The biggest gripe is the cooking hob. This did affect our time here. For the whole two weeks it was a nightmare. And despite being offered to go upstairs to the other apartment to cook, this wasn’t an ideal solution. And thus wasn’t accepted as an alternative by us for personal reasons. UPDATE: host wouldn’t offer my resolve or compensation. But thankfully booking.com did.

• JIAYI (7/5): - 1、空间很大，有三间卧室，够5个人睡 2、室内很有设计感，装饰、床品都很舒适很漂亮 3、设施很好，有充足的暖气、热水和煮饭设施 4、非常干净，整个房间非常整洁干净，让人放心 5、房东非常好，会协助解决各种问题，回复速度也很快，大大提升住宿体验 1、地理位置：屋子在小山坡上，下了公交车需要爬5分钟左右的斜坡才能到达，如果拖着行李箱更加费力 2、隔音一般：偶尔可以听到楼上走动的声音，比较大声 3、清洁工作比较多：在离开前收拾好所有垃圾，并扔到门口垃圾箱、清洗碗筷 当然，因为我们只有两人只住了一晚，所以感觉累一些。如果长期住宿，且人数较多的话，可以一起分摊家务，应该是非常不错的住宿体验

Much nicer than a hotel. - Great spacious property just a 10 minute walk from the main shops and restaurants To access or leave the property you need to walk up or down a short but steep hill that was really icy. The front door step was covered in thick ice that was impossible to break, would have been great to have some grit to put on it.

• Juhani (10/5): A short vacation in Tromso and the accommodation couldn't have been better, even in a hotel! - The place was absolutely lovely. The interior was beautifully decorated and there was plenty of space. The host kept in touch well and the service was great. The apartment was easy to get to and the city services were close by. There were a few footsteps from upstairs, as we were in an old house. It didn't bother us too much, though.

Still had a lovely view, the flat (3bedrooms) had a wonderful cozy livingroom and a large dining kitchen with everything we needed, even some spices, sugar, washing utensils etc. Had there been polar lights we could have watched them even from inside ( interesting when -20 degrees). Beds were comfortabke, enough cushions and beddings. A slight smell in the bathroom, esp when the air- ventilation was on. Not there when we left the door open during the day

• Tina.havrlent (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed for 4 nights with my family and enjoyed our stay to the maximum. Apartment is spacious, with beautiful views over the city and water. This also means the property is located on a hill (otherwise you wouldn't get any views) so be prepared for that. Nothing crazy, it's a short walking distance from the city center (7 mins) and a very nice walk through snow covered Tromso. It can get a bit slippery with snow and ice, again you should be prepared for that when coming to the Arctic ;) We didn't buy spikes for our shoes and were fine without them. Well equipped kitchen, cozy living room and comfortable beds. Check in and check out was super easy, we received a code for our door and that was it. Ingrid (the host) was super nice and helpful. When the sink in the bathroom got stuck, she managed to remedy it in a few hours. Nothing

Our family of 5 had a wonderful week here. We liked everything as it was all as described - only issue was that couldn't find the tea towels or oven gloves 😀
• Eta (8/5): Wonderful magical snow capped views for our family - We loved the amazing views into the city. All the modern comforts were available for us. Ingrid was very responsive when we messaged her as there was a minor issue with the bathroom sink. Loved that our adult children were able to get their own rooms. We could also walk up and down the hills into town so if you have mobility issues, then this may be a challenge. However, we enjoyed the elevated views that we could get by staying here and I spent many times sitting and admiring the views at any time of the day (or night). We stayed in the middle floor so we could hear the footsteps of people living upstairs from time to time when we were sitting in the living area. It didn’t bother our sleep so it wasn’t a big problem for us.
• Tracey (10/5): Yes it is an Amazing Property! - Amazing Property, Amazing find!! So warm and welcoming, the location was excellent being just outside the centre with fantastic views of the city and the mountains. The back of the property faces North and I was lucky to see a slight glimmer of the Northern Lights (visibility was not great anywhere whilst we were in Tromso)! Lovely property, I would definitely recommend it. Contact with Ingrid was very good and she was always on hand either on here or WhatsApp for any questions. Nothing!

It was very spacious as well The steep slope needed to get through to get in the house. We were told about this before hand but still was a struggle to leave and come home to everyday

Host was really responsive. Great amenities - useful to have washer, dryer, dishwasher etc. Located up a very steep hill with a track at the end that iced over and caused difficulties accessing the property. Wish I’d known this beforehand as it wasn’t really suitable for our family (4 year old, 2 year old and 17 weeks pregnant!)

• Kevin (10/5): Magical stay in Tromso. Great house, very homely and warm. - The location was great. Fabulous views, only 10 minutes from the airport and a lovely walk back from the town. The bed in the main bedroom had 2 separate duvets. Not a major problem but a single large duvet would have been preferred.
• Andrej (10/5): Exceptional location, charming view from the windows, very well equipped kitchen - Perfect location in walkable distance to city center (and restaurants). The surrounding area was very calm with family houses. The view out of the windows was lovely (especially when it is a lot of snow outside). The kitchen in the apartment was very well equipped (including Nespresso coffee machine). The living room was spacious with TV and Google Chromecast. We were bit worried that it will be cold given the temperatures outside but the apartment was heated well. Plenty blankets were provided. And the bed linen was thick enough. The parking was easy to find and use. Extra mugs for coffee and tea would be appreciated especially during winter :)
