- Caroline (8/5): Excellent - Lovely house, good facilities. But cold when we arrived, took 5 hours to warm up. Otherwise excellent
- Allan (7/5): Quite, peaceful location - Problem on arrival, the host could not find our booking, it was resolved but did put a dampener on the arrival. Problem on arrival, the host could not find our booking, it was resolved but did put a dampener on the arrival. We where offed a unit to stay in on our first night and where informed that we would have to move the following day to another unit, the following morning we packed up and where about to leave when the host told us that we could stay in our first unit. This was acceptable but we could of been informed earlier to save us packing up then un packing again.

- Vilma (10/5): -
- James (5/5): Basic accommodation, not overly expensive. - Remote location, which is either a joy or not. Very basic, rather dated, ok for a weekend break. Wouldn't recommend for a week with a family.
- robert (8/5): -
- Zoe (8/5): - Lovely little cottage in a beautiful rural location. Owners were helpful and responsive when we had a query. We enjoyed our stay.
- Jaime (8/5): -
- Mandy (7/5): A good base for working in the area. - Comfy beds and plenty of hot water. Having to bring our own towels.
- Lisa (10/5): Peaceful, quiet, wonderful surroundings and a very suitable little cottage in its entirety :) - This was an additional night after a week already in Cornwall, just squeezing the most out of the holiday. I love the area and honestly this little cottage/chalet exceeded my expectations, set in the most beautiful surroundings. It was big enough for 2 but think any more would be a bit of a squeeze. One thing I was very pleased with was there was actually Wi-Fi, I wasn't expecting it because on Booking.com it said No Internet... very nice surprise :) The weather lol, it was stormy but hey that's Cornwall for you :)
Towels are not included (apart from a tea towel) So maybe include towels, think others need to be aware of this fact.
Nothing else to report here
- Jeannie (8/5): The beauty of the natural world there is quite stunning and well worth a visit! - Absolutely beautiful location although a bit more remote then I realized. Very sweet cottage! I must admit I’m a little frightened by one lane roads, so the single lane road involved in getting there kept me from feeling comfortable to make the drive out to find some dinner.

- Amanda (10/5): A perfect, cosy stay - Amazing peaceful valley location. You could hear owls hooting in the night. Beautiful walk through fields and woodland footpath down to have a swim at high tide. The hosts are really lovely. Can’t do enough for you. Nothing
- Piotr (10/5): - Przepiękna lokalizacja, Duże, przestronne mieszkanie z tarasem. Wszystko zgodnie z opisem. Polecamy.
- Anthony (10/5): - Lovely location, beautifully finished accommodation with good facilities. Such a lovely walk down to the beach Nothing
- Grace (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paula (10/5): We had a great weekend, very peaceful. - It was very quiet and peaceful. Nothing
- Andy (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location in a beautiful valley. The walk down to the pub and the coast path was lovely.
The cottage was great value and nicely done out. We will definitely stay here next time we're walking this part of the coastline.
- Djr (8/5): Very good - Quiet and picturesque. Clean. Not enough parking.
- Sonja (1/5): Fair criticism of property topped by extreme rudeness of host. - Leaving. The property smelt musty The microwave was rusty rendering it unusable as was the rusty toaster stored with the dustpan and brush under the sink. The Leather settees were bald scratched and tatty with musty rank cushions. The toilet brush was in the same category.Every surface including mirrors and windows had been wiped with the same smeary clothes.Trust in the property was totally lost we sent voice message to owner who replied on our journey home .He said what do you expect for the price.Finishing he said I hate people like you you can dis me as much as you like I don’t care
- Catherine (8/5): Perfect for what we wanted - It was cosy and felt like we’d stepped back in time Couldn’t work the oven
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - Private little cosy cottage, beautiful views.
Comfy beds Didn't affect us, other than getting wet in the rain but it's a short walk from carpark to cottage which includes steps so wouldn't suit everyone.
The heating was a night storage heater.
It was cold when we arrived but no heating until evening in the living room.
There were heaters in the rooms though which were very efficient.
- R (9/5): Very good place in the woods, it’s relaxing sounds, small river, couldn’t expect more, perfect - The place on it’s own N/a
- Lyn (8/5): Excellent thank you - It was in a lovely, clean location. The terrace looked out on a field and river. The 25 minute walk down to Crackington Haven needs listed status; it is so magical. I've been there before in a different chalet, I would recommend, particularly to families. Decent wifi signal. There isn't a dishwasher! I am happy but there is no radio signal or indeed any signal at all for anything without using the wifi - I wouldn't say that either of these would make me say I didn't like it though.
- Isobella (8/5): Very good -
- Pamela (8/5): Very good -
- Richards (10/5): Exceptional - The location was great peaceful and beautiful Norhing
- Tariq (8/5): Absolute Nature. - Absolute Nature, very peaceful, clean, cosy and comfortable cottage. Best place to spend sometime to release your work stress specially if you are tired from overcrowded London. Very Steep single tight Road hardly one car fits to and from this cottage, very hard to Drive in Dark. If you have to buy Food, milk etc you have to drive for 25 minutes each way as there are no shops, restaurants, fuel stations nearby.
- Sarah (9/5): Beautiful spot, great hosts! -
- Colin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Reena (8/5): Good amenities and near to the beach - Local shop was hard to find so best to take supplies like milk, eggs and bread with you.
- Rachel (8/5): Perfect stay - Very quiet location , perfectly formed cabin
- Gemma (10/5): Idyllic location for a relaxing night away. Home from home. Very clean and comfortable -
- Holly (8/5): Very good -
- Susan (10/5): Lovely break away! - Fantastic location, really kind hosts, spotlessly clean cottage!
- Sebastian (9/5): Superb -
- Chris (9/5): Superb - Excellent wifi, Netflix included, tv in living room and both bedrooms. Coffee, tea, and sugar provided like a hotel. Beds were very comfortable.
Quiet location, and although there were six cottages there was privacy. Good beach at Crackington Haven, but not far to Widemouth or Bude. Steep, narrow lanes to the site, but this did not cause any problem. Walk to the beach should take about 20 minutes but we did it once and it took us twice as long (but we are in our 70's.
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely woodland location. Close to beaches, cliff walks etc, quiet, peaceful.
- Sarah (8/5): Fantastic location, quiet, perfect for a few days away at the Coast. - Excellent location, very quiet, facilities were good. Kettle leaked hot water when pouring.
- Sandra (10/5): Relaxing break - Location lovely peaceful relaxed atmosphere owners very pleasant.
Wish we had booked longer will definitely go back again.
Ideal for a base to travel around parts of Cornwall
So would definitely recommend.

- Donna (9/5): Stunning location, beautiful views, everything you need! - Perfect space- everything you would need,
Comfy beds,
Fantastic space for dogs as secure decking and amazing large field.
Beautiful views and great host communication. Very minor personal point- don't like to see toilet brushes, particularly without any cover.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dino (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (9/5): Superb - This was a cute and comfortable cottage. The location is amazing! Such a peaceful place. We loved that we could walk through a forest to get to the local beach and pub. The owners are really friendly. Would definitely stay again. Nothing
- John (8/5): Great stay, did all that we wanted, would stay again. - Excellent location, very quiet, good instructions, good parking, clean, all the essentials, internet good so able to use wifi calling on mobile phone as there was no mobile signal. Bedroom a little cramped as the accommodation overall was just a little larger than a caravan/mobile home but having said that, much more comfortable than a mobile home.
- Mariana (10/5): Excellent location, super nice cottage - Everything was perfect -
- Emery (10/5): Fanbloodytastic! - I loved how clean the chalet/lodge was. The location was peaceful. The gated decking area good for kids or the dog.
The entire set up was fabulous I didnt like the fact i couldnt stay longer
- Penny (8/5): Very good would visit again - Fairly simple accommodation but comfortable enough and spotlessly clean
Lovely location over looking stream and woodlands shortish walk to Crackington Haven
Great for dogs access to large open area Nothing
- Jane (8/5): Sweet cottage in stunning countryside location - Sweet cottage in stunning location. Dog friendly. Nothing
- Barbara (10/5): Tranquillity and relax - We liked tranquillity of this place, very quiet, lots of trees and sound of beck nearby. Cottage is lovely and has everything you need. Our dog loved this place as well. We had very good lunch at the pub The Old Wainhouse Inn. We visited beach and Port Isaac. Our hosts were amazing. Perfect place to relax.
- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jodie (10/5): Amazing, super happy we found this little place! - Hosts were lovely, the cottage was perfect size and had everything we needed in it!
It was so lovely and quiet and the scenery was amazing. Hopefully will return summer time and take advantage of the walks through the field down to the beach!
- Mohammed (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alex (9/5): Superb -
- Lynn (8/5): Very good - The cottage was very quiet and peaceful. It had everything we needed. It says no Internet on booking.com but the cottage has it now, and netflix, which was a bonus as we had such appalling weather we couldn't sit on the lovely terrace.
Lovely walk to the pub unfortunately we only got half way, the weather contrived against us!
Not too far from the places we wanted to see. We couldn't seem to get a good temperature in the shower so we couldn't use it, there must be a knack to setting it🤔
It would be nice to have a lamp in the lounge but that is just our preference.
Like a lot of cornish roads getting to the cottage was very hairy as the road was literally as wide as our car and as steep as a roller coaster 🎢
- Helen (8/5): Very good -
- Matthew (8/5): Very good -
- Emma (8/5): Very good -
- Marion (8/5): Very good -
- Jan (9/5): Superb -

- Samantha (8/5): excellent - location and vey comfortable warm with everything you need for your stay very expensive charge for dog when only staying one night
- Batool (9/5): Cosy and lovely stay, would definitely come again. 🌹 - It was very clean and tidy. Nice cosy cottage with all the kitchen appliances and cutlery that we needed. Loved the fact that there was heating in every room so it got quite toasty quite quick 😂 Only thing that would’ve made it better, if there was some extra supply of toilet paper because there was only 1 roll 😭 & some soap for hand wash.
- Mike (10/5): Beautiful place - Such a beautiful place, hosts were easy to contact if we needed anything (but we didn't)
We're looking to come back with our extended family later in the year.
