Guest Reviews
- Karolina (4/5): - Beautiful surroundings, close to a nature reserve. I absolutely do not recommend it. There was no contact with the host. He didn't return the £100 deposit, and he doesn't answer the phone or respond to emails. The house is nice, but not entirely clean.
- Bannister (9/5): -
- Ben (10/5): - Beds were comfy. Everything worked as it should Parking outside could be hard to get depending on the time of arrival but plenty of options not too far away.
- MiniBex (8/5): -
- Bella (7/5): Average - N/A It was a problem with getting into the property. The manager provided wrong code to the lock box.
- Barbara (9/5): Very comfortable stay at Cosy Cottage in a good location to visit local attractions - Cosy cottage was extremely cosy and lounge as welcoming. Bed and pillows comfortable.
Location good and a visit to The Royal Mint recommended and very close to property. Close proximity to The Bear Inn - friendly staff and good food. Parking as already mentioned by other people is limited outside property but isn’t a problem as free car parks and street parking within a couple of minutes walk.
- Ionela-Elena (10/5): the perfect place for a moment of peace - We felt wonderful there. Very clean, the rooms very cozy, the kitchen equipped with everything you need. being a smoker, the smoking area is small
- Clare (8/5): A cute cottage. - The cottage is clean and well maintained. It is in a good location and I would definitely stay again. The double bed is hard and uncomfortable. I got the duvets from the second bedroom and slept on top of them.
The parking is tricky but there is a car park down the hill.
- Lucy (10/5): Exceptional - Everything from start to finish was absolutely amazing. We loved our stay in the cottage and will deffo book again! Very cosy and clean! Easy to get to local shops/towns
- Andrew (9/5): Comfy Cottage - A great location,it was close to local shops,a number of pubs ,and locals were friendly and helpful! Double bed was very uncomfortable for me ,but it was ok for my wife !
- Marian (10/5): Just perfect - Everything it was just perfect, a real home from home. N/A
- Katy (9/5): Cosy Cottage - Perfect for our two night getaway to visit Zip World. Easy to find with the postcode, there are two free carparks a few hundred yards down the hill if you are not keen on parking on the narrow streets. Short walk to carry thing up not a problem for us.
Instructions to get into the property were good and easy to find the keys.
The place was very clean and the beds were really comfortable. There was tea coffee milk and biscuits on arrival which was nice after a long journey.
Towels were provided and some small bottles of shampoo and conditioner which was great as I forgot my own. There was a hairdryer and iron in the bedrooms and TV available in every room.
Very cosy and even better we could take the dog, some nice walks near by.
Lots of pots and pan and accessories available in the kitchen. Overall pleasent stay and the hosts were responsive to messages were very good with communication.
We would definitely stop again. Nothing major. It was cold when we arrived the heater in the front room didn't appear to work, we found the heating thermostat so wasn't a problem warmed up fairly quickly. We let the owners know and had a apology.
Just a note not a complaint, no tea towels left out for drying up and no bin bag in the kitchen bin. Very minor though overall really good stay.
- Alwyn (8/5): Cosy, clean cottage - Cosy, clean and handy for the event we were attending in Pontypridd Not much. Lovely property. Some early morning traffic noise, but not major problem
- Gemma (9/5): Absolutely phenomenal place, loved the vibe. Cody nights in front of a little electric fire. Great shower, lovely helpfu - Loves the homely feel, it really is a Cosy Cottage! No back garden to speak of & parking on steep hill outside property. Low ceilings upstairs.
- Andrew (8/5): Great venue for business and leisure - Located near the heart of a beautiful town. Great places to visit and eat. Really clean well appointed accommodation. Great walks for dogs only a short walkable distance from the property A minor niggle. You step out straight on to the pavement which is narrow and a drop to the road. You need to make sure it’s clear before you step out. Especially if you have dogs.
- Aaron (8/5): Good location and value - Good location and convenient parking nearby Surfaces were dusty which needed another clean and no chopping board to prepare food
- Lorry (10/5): Perfect get away - Great location, neat and tidy with everything we needed. Easy check in/out and good communication with host. Nice extra touches with tea, coffee and biscuits.
We had a comfortable stay and would recommend to others. Parking could be tricky and the shower unit was quite compact.
- Mccraith (10/5): Excellent place to stay in Wales. - Tastefully decorated , very comfortable quality accommodation.
Great location for easy travel around Glamorgan.
Plenty to see and do in the local area.
Very helpful host.
- Louise (10/5): Fantastic stay and exceptional host - highly recommend and would stay here again - It was very modern, clean and cosy. It looks like it has been recently decorated. We had plenty of towels etc and the utensils, blankets on the sofa etc so it was a very comfortable stay. The host was extremely helpful and very responsive. There was a small car park just down the road which was great as we had a Luton van with us which made parking easy. There is roadside parking for cars. Highly recommend and would stay again.
- John-william (10/5): Wonderfull, would use again if I was ro be in the area. - The cottage is excellent with all the utensils and cutlery you need.
Llantrisant is a very lovely village, with a store, pub / coffee shop and more. The small road can be very busy.
- Anastasios (8/5): Very good -
- Alex (10/5): Superb place to stay! - Had the perfect facilities and location for what we needed. The host was absolutely superb and answered all questions that we had, they accommodated us very well and went above and beyond what we were expecting. This is a lovely little hope to stay in and could highly recommend for people looking to get away for a little while. 20-30 minutes from Cardiff and 40 minutes to Swansea. Close to the M4 so easy access in both directions. I highly recommend this place to everyone looking for a nice little home to stay in. A few teething issues with the brand new cooker but it got sorted straight away.
