• Samuel (8/5): Very attentive staff. Incredible breakfast buffet. - Staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout. The breakfast buffet was exceptional with various freshly made stations. It was a nice big clean spacious room with a chocolate treat on arrival. There was a gym, it wasn’t massive or hugely modern but the machines worked. There wasn’t a dedicated baggage room and the staff member suggested we just leave our bags in the middle of reception whilst we went out which made us feel slightly uneasy with so many people around. The wine bar was closed but it was quieter when we travelled.

From the front office manager Bhanuka to the entire staff are very polite, friendly and attentive. Buffet breakfast spread is very good compared to the hotel rates. Restaurant staff are also very efficient, flexible and helpful. We were served by Kalhara who was extremely caring and friendly.

The staff were extremely welcoming, and the check-in process was very smooth. The employees will run through the formalities while you make a stroll through the lobby and enjoy their welcome drink. The fountain view is stunning from the elevator. The room was extra spacious and comfy. Plenty of restaurant and pub choices are available in the neighborhood. The breakfast buffet was full of variety. One should not miss the egg hopper and dosa live counter Nothing, except that we couldn't stay more than one night to explore the facilities is entirety/

Le grand luxe pour l’anniversaire de mon épouse !! Le buffets est splendide et très bon. Les massages était extraordinaire également. La piscine un peu fraîche pour rester plus de 10 min mais c’est un détail.
• SmrtMnk (10/5): A wonderful stay at Araliya Green Hills Hotel - A very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The room was large, clean, and well equipped, and the dressing gown was a lovely touch. Staff were friendly and helpful. I had a deeply relaxing Balinese massage and appreciated the small but practical gym, especially the treadmill. I also enjoyed sitting outside with a coffee — both by the pool and in the garden. Great location close to town, attractions, and food outlets. I would definitely come back. Nothing to mention — everything met or exceeded my expectations.

Even though it was very busy with a conference on the 2 days that we were there, they still managed to make my husband and I feel special. They were so welcoming, kind and caring. When my husband was not feeling well, the reception staff and manager helped me find a driver to get him some medicine after first trying to find some at the hotel. Then the Guest Relations Executive, Hansika, went above and beyond to help get our wallet returned to us in Australia that we left in the room safe. She was so helpful, sending us photos and videos of the process of handing over the wallet to couriers etc, to ensure we knew it was safe. We have just received the wallet in Australia and she has remained in communication with us the whole time. Thank you so much Hansika for everything and to all the staff at this great hotel. Nothing

Las habitaciones son muy grandes y tienen todo lo necesario para hacerte la estancia agradable. El desayuno tipo bufet muy completo. La cama es muy grande y muy cómoda. Las instalaciones están genial con piscina, gimnasio y spa. No había mantas para taparte más y es un lugar frío. La calefacción solo tiene encendido o apagado por lo que no controlas la temperatura y para dormir pasamos algo de frío, no quisimos molestar a recepción porque era muy tarde seguro que lo habrían solucionado pero es más fácil si tienes en la habitación a tu disposición.

Si tratta di una vecchia struttura elegante. Le camere sono piccole, le finestre non si possono aprire, non ha l'aria condizionata ma solo una stufa Vortice che per scaldare la stanza (la temperatura esterna era di 8 gradi) ci mette una notte. Il bagno della nostra camera (Deluxe triple room) aveva solo vasca da bagno poco funzionale.

The reception was beautiful and I wish the bar/restaurant was open. The room could actually have been on 1 floor (the bathroom was downstairs from our bedroom which was an issue in the middle of the night). The pool looked green and I don't think the Spa facilities were very good but it is still quite a new hotel so I am sure it will improve.

(6/5): Het restaurant is uitmuntend (zowel eten als personeel) daar zou de balie veel van kunnen leren - Het eten in het restaurant was voortreffelijk, ook het personeel was bijzonder vriendelijk Het personeel achter de balie sprak nauwelijks Engels. Wij kwamen aan met een taxi omdat de geplande treinreis niet kon doorgaan ivm een rots op de rails. Aan de man achter de balie gevraagd of hij kon nagaan wanneer de treinen weer zouden rijden. Zijn antwoord was: ‘het hele weekend rijden er geen treinen’. Gevraagd of hij dan op de dag van vertrek een taxi zou kunnen regelen, ‘neen dat deden ze niet bij dit hotel’. Ondanks hun brochures waarin wordt gesproken over transport service. Wij hebben zelf een taxi geregeld en deze chauffeur vertelde ons dat de treinen vanaf de namiddag op zaterdag weer reden……………..

• Victoria (8/5): Wonderful hotel facilities, staff need more training. - I loved this hotel, the facilities and the location were perfect. I loved my room, it felt very old fashioned England! The staff were very attentive but I had a few issues. I had a phone call at 9:30am asking if I was coming down to breakfast (served until 10am), if I was having a lie in this would have woken me up. I also had issues with staying in my room, I booked the hotel for another two nights in my arrival as I liked it so much and arranged to stay in my room with the staff. However, on the change over day I had 4 different telephone conversations asking me to vacate my room, I even went down to reception and sorted it and then got another phone call 30 minutes later. This communication between staff needs to be sorted as it caused unnecessary stress to my trip.

Wir bekamen daraufhin die Präsidentensuite, die sehr geräumig und toll ausgestattet war. Diese Suite kann man wirklich empfehlen. Das laute Geräusch der Klimaanlage im Bad.

Tiene un pequeño gimnasio pero muchas de las maquinas no funcionan... el secador de pelo se cslienta muy rspudo y tienes que esperar a que se enfrie... para ser un hotel bueno y caro no ofrecen los mejores servicios.

• Lorraine (8/5): Beautiful colonial style hotel in good location - Location was very good. You could walk into town quite easily. The Grand hotel was next door offering more choices of great restaurants. We enjoyed the Indian restaurant there. Araliya Green Hills staff offered us a private dining experience in The wine bar room on top level one night. The food was very good and we enjoyed the experience. It was a quiet time so we had set menus in the restaurant week days, but we preferred the buffet breakfast at the weekend which was amazing. We particularly enjoyed the masala dosas and hoppers with curry. There was a huge choice of eastern and western food. The serving staff were excellent and in particular Kalhari was very attentive and efficient serving our table. She was very friendly and spoke English very well. She also advised us of what to see in the area. Very helpful. All staff and management were extremely helpful and could not do enough for us. We did have a couple of minor issues with our room but these were sorted out speedily and efficiently to our satisfaction. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Housekeeping was great. The bed was very comfortable. We had fresh flowers and chocolates in our room which we enjoyed. We used the bar which was very quiet but had a bit of background music. The bartender was great and made good cocktails. The TV had to be reset a couple of times and the key cards for the rooms stopped working and we had to get them reset a couple of times also.

• A A D Priyantha (9/5): A pleasant and relaxing family stay with genuinely kind staff - I stayed here with my family and we were really impressed by the staff. Everyone was polite, helpful, and always had a warm smile—something that makes a big difference when you’re traveling with loved ones. They were attentive without being intrusive, and their calm, respectful attitude made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Truly great hospitality! There was a minor issue with the room heater not functioning properly. Thankfully, the weather was mild during our stay, and the staff promptly provided extra blankets upon request. It’s possible the heater was overlooked due to the comfortable temperatures at the time. Since the overall service was excellent, we didn’t feel the need to complain—but a quick check before guest arrival would make things even better.
