Guest Reviews
- Nicholas (2/5): Would not recommend anybody waist there money - Honestly this property is way over priced and really really out dated Really out dated wasn’t very clean at all and the owner is the worst person I’ve ever had to deal with. Do not send your money to her personal bank account you will end up paying for some of her dated furniture to be refurbished. She is a total thief and says we damaged her table. We didn’t and the real reason is because I voiced my opinion on her hefty deposit she didn’t like it. We took extra care because of this situation and yet she still says we damaged it. Claim is in full dispute and I will be taking her to court
- Leala-Rain (9/5): Great stay -
- Junior (2/5): - The location of the property was fantastic, local to my family also shops and bars. The host, she is very picky, she finds faults, she apparently charges for a call out. Meaning if you have an issue in the property, and you call her to resolve them, she charges a call out fee. The alarm went off on both nights, and she lied and said we didn't call or text her, which i have proof. On a whole, decent property, grateful location. The host is definitely a 1 out of 10 ruined the whole stay
- Paul (10/5): Clean, comfortable and perfectly located - Booked this accommodation fairly late for colleagues needing to be in the Redcliffe area. The property was ideally situated to where we needed to be, and the accommodation had everything required for the stay. Communication with the host was top notch and really helpful. The whole booking was made simple and straight forward and the deposit returned very quickly. No complaints from our party, in all a very welcoming and comfortable stay. One person said they might like a TV in the bedrooms but that is only because it was a working group and not everyone wanted to be sociable after a long day
- Ashley (1/5): Wouldn't recommend, i am still waiting for my refund Booking.com!!!! - N/A The property was unclean and very dirty. There was food left in the fridge, the carpets were disgustingly dirty, there was holes in the cupboards. The property was poorly looked after and I had to get my engineers another accommodation and I haven't received a refund. I'm very unhappy with this accommodation and will not be recommending it to anyone.
- Steven Catherine (8/5): We had a fab time, the space, facilities and attentive host made us feel very welcome. - We liked how large the property was, it was perfect for our family to stay in and an ideal size to host a family gathering over Christmas. The facilities were great - excellent kitchen and bathroom, big bedrooms and comfy beds, and any problems we did have were sorted out quickly by our host. The location is lovely, free parking was a bonus and near to a playpark, bus stop, train station etc. A great place for our post Christmas get together. The lights in the bathroom weren't working when we arrived which was a shame but were soon fixed by our host when we alerted her. I also would have liked more plug sockets so maybe a few extension leads to be provided would be really useful as people have so many electronic devices to charge nowadays, especially with children, like yotos and groclocks and night lamps.
- Guest (10/5): - The apartment was comfortable and warm with a large kitchen. We were in Bristol for shopping and sightseeing, and the flat is in a great location for that, close to town and the Gloucester Road. We loved our stay. The beds were large with 4 pillows and we had amazing views over Bristol to the Mendip hills. Highly recommend.
Could benefit from some more kids toys...but only a minor thing.
- Rebecca (6/5): Good location but bad communication - It was good to have four decent sized rooms The communication with the owner, as lots of people have said, is not good. The deposit was asked for (it does say so I was expecting it) an hour before we were due there so I had to sort from a bar. Then we arrived. No key code and had to phone the owner and booking .com to get the code which took about half an hour.
Then the shower didn’t work and nor did the bath and basin give more than a dribble. We did flag this up to the owner but had to use the kitchen sink.
It also took a few reminders to get my money back.
The lack of community makes you feel like you feel very unsure. They really need to get better at that.
With only one bathroom that doesn’t work I’m glad we were only there for a couple of nights.
- François (2/5): A éviter !
- Webb (5/5): Good location, needs some renovation and repairs. - Quiet location.
Bus stop direct to Bristol city centre a few meters up the road.
Bedding and towels provided. One bedroom window didn't close rendering the room unusable.
The taps in the bathroom sink dribbled at best, we had to use hot water from the kettle to fill the sink for washing/shaving.
The lever to turn the shower on was loose and frequently fell out.
One seat squab of the dining room chairs was loose and could have caused injury.
Parking near the property is almost impossible. It is roadside parking only and spaces were few and far between. We had two cars, one parked about 100m down the road and the second we had to park two streets away.
- Janet (7/5): Great apartment in a beautiful location. - The apartment was great. Spacious, clean, comfortable and in a great location. Communicating with the host was very tricky. I had no response and on the day of arrival received a contact confirming stay and asking for £500 bank transfer. This is in the advert but because the lack of contact previously it felt risky. When we finally spoke she was very helpful but this was 3 hours before checkin. However it was fine and deposit was returned within a day. The apartment was perfect, ideal for a family stay.
- Joanna (7/5): Perfect for our needs. - Fabulous views and huge windows which provided a lovely breeze during the exceptionally hot weather.
Comfortable beds.
- Carmen (5/5): Tough communication and cleaning - 25 minutes walking to the center town. Easy to go by bus, free parking in the neighbourhood Communication has been so difficult. She is very polite and nice but pictures and service is nos efficient. The host does not communicate easily. We asked for checkin instruction (because
When new there was an observation regarding the deposit and we had no news about how to proceed) and even after insisting, the host contacted us just the night before asking for the deposit (THERE IS A DEPOSIT , BE CAREFUL). We had to send it with some rush and stress, thinking is was due to how nice the place it was. But also we were stressed until we reached the access code (a couple of hours before departing). When we arrived, more stress: the place had scratches, damages (thats not a problem but the host is asking for a deposit of 500£) and a lack of cleaning. Stains in the mattress, oil in the kitchen, fridge , dust, etc. the place was really really dirty.
We had to request the deposit back and contact twice (that’s the way it has been during all the communication). It is not where, but how. We highly recommend a better communication and specially, better cleaning. The better the cleaning the more understandable the deposit.
- Alex (10/5): Perfect property for any company with multiple guys rather than paying for individual rooms at hotels. - Very clean, great price Nice and clean
- Kelly (10/5): Great host and amazing property - just what we wanted - This was booked for contractors working in Bristol and the commented on it being the best they had stayed in.
- Naomi (9/5): Superb - Light and airy with great views
- Lidiyau (3/5): Poor - The view is beautiful.
The apartment is clean. The beds are comfortable. It is a quiet neighbourhood.
There is a dishwasher, but unfortunately no dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid or even sponges. Be aware that a £500 deposit is required, which should be paid into a personal bank account of the owner.
The communication with the owner is off.
I had to ask 3 times before I got the check in instructions, same was with the deposit.
- Gavin (8/5): Nice place - Was a nice place comfortable and clean Needs more cooking facilities
- Piers (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing views and great location for Gloucester rd. Really comfy beds and beautifully clean and well presented. Host really helpful for a last minute booking.

- Angela (9/5): Superb - We loved staying here. The apartment was in a very interesting area and was right next to a bus stop, very close to the train station, and the main attractions of the city were very accessible by foot. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen and lounge area were well equipped and made us feel at home.

- Natalie (10/5): Great place - Lovely house, very clean and in a great location. Could really do with another toilet/bathroom. With 8 people sleeping and only 1 bathroom meant ques every morning...
- Eloina (10/5): Beautiful Views and Super Comfy! Perfect! - Comfy beds and sofa, great host communication and the most BEAUTIFUL views! Visually stunning apartment. As we stayed for a week, could have done with a few more basics I.e. enough toilet paper and dishwasher tablets
- David (8/5): It was great, ideal place to stay - fab house and location. - Fab house, great views, good facilities, great location. The bathroom tap was broken and there wasn’t enough toilet roll.
- Anja (9/5): Felt safe, comfy and at home - Nicky was very informative prior to our stay with clear instructions and welcoming manner. The property was immaculate with renovations (we love your kitchen!). Lovely little touches with rolled towels and chocolates for guests. Would recommend and would stay again. Don’t know if they’re all the same but my beds pillows were sooo squishy like marshmallows
