Guest Reviews
- Glenn (9/5): Great Little place. Don't let the street put you off. - Great communication with host.
Very clean and comfy.
Got a late check out. The area doesn't look great but this didn't affect us at all. Great location for otley run and access to city centre.
Could do with a decent WiFi Fibre connection. We were going to watch the boxing on a tablet but speeds on WiFi were too poor.
- Tasleem (8/5): - Sal was extremely helpful.
The flat was good for a night's stay. Clean. Had all the amenities Beds were a bit lumpy but didn't matter for a night. Steep stairs.
- Nij (7/5): Reasonably priced and would recommend this place to anyone. - Easy to find and the place was clean and comfortable. My only issues was the bed on the 1st floor. It was a metal frame bed and kept making noise every time you moved. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay.
- Peter (8/5): Very good - Location ideal for Brudenell Club All ok
- Tom (7/5): Good -
- Michelle (7/5): Good -
- Margaret (8/5): Convenient, clean, good value - V close to a gig we went to
Extremely clean and tidy
Sal was amazing at communicating with us - very prompt and friendly
- Peter (8/5): Very good - Spotlessly clean Bit of a run down area
- Faye (4/5): Disappointing - I was provided a link to download an app, in which I was given instructions and an access invite to open & lock the door. There was no problem with this. The house is pretty dated and needs a bit of TLC and modernising.
- There's no WiFI access & the TV's don't work.
- There is no coffee machine as shown in the pictures, but there is a kettle and tea/coffee is provided which was a nice touch. Could do with a few more glasses though.
- The sofa is falling apart, leather is flaking off and it has a cover/blanket over it to hide this.
- The top floor bedroom was really hot; the sun shines through the roof window which isn't the end of the world but it would've been much better if the blind wasn't damaged so could be shaded early hours!
- The shower doesn't work well, it's either freezing or ridiculously hot and it's placed on the large side of the bath not near the taps or top so water goes everywhere.
- We don't really know the area very well, but the neighbours have iron bars and locks over the doors & windows which did worry us at first but there were no problems in our 2 night stay.
- There is a retail park nearby which was ideal to walk to for a but to eat and also a cinema & bowling there.
- A big factor that influenced the rating, was that we were asked to pay additional costs after checking out for a new ironing board...which was absolutely outrageous as none of us even used it! Couldn't even tell you where it was, never mind damage it. Thankfully we could decline this damage request and it was written off but this was via booking.com not the host.
- It was a great price for the two nights but I wouldn't book again.
- Joanne (8/5): Very good - Good central location. Didn't like the access to the room via mobile phone app.
- Julie (8/5): Very good - The accommodation was clean and had everything we required. The owner replied and provided relavant information when contacted. It was perfect for what we needed - a clean comfy bed and shower after a night out. The TV downstairs didn't work - could be us not being able to work it properly?
Some people might find the area intimidating, but we had no issues.
- Christopher (8/5): Well managed property and sever its purpose. - The property was excellent and served its purpose, parking facilities were excellent. No issue with this property
- Notts1862 (10/5): Perfect.for gig lovers - Great location for a gig at Brudenell Spcoal Club. Only a short distance from the city centre so a cheap taxi but there was plenty of street parking for drivers. Very comfortable, very clear instructions for getting in.
- Maggie (6/5): Not the best of stays - The inside of the property was nicely decorated. It was not in a very nice location. No pictures available on booking.com of the outside. Had I seen it was a back to back house I would not have booked.
The stairs were very steep. The shower was either scalding hot or cold. It needs a bath mat to avoid slipping over.
Downstairs smelled very musty but upstairs was ok.
