Guest Reviews
- Ellina (9/5): - Apartment was clean, comfortable & well appointed. Excellent location. Building noise from across the road.
The bed was too soft for my liking.
- Stephen (10/5): We had a great time in Canberra and in this Unit. - The property was just what we were hoping for. Location was very central and information book left on the table was very helpful.
Having the car park on site was very good. The tea bags had all ran out and the coffee that was provided was out of date. We had to purchase our own coffee and tea bags, not a real big deal but would be worth checking prior to the next client arriving.
- Despina (7/5): OK but overall ... Disappointing - Location was amazing, near all the foody places and we loved that it had secure parking included. Early check in was approved. Host was communicative albeit rude. The residential apartments are nexr to/linked to the Marriot building, so you get use of the sauna and pool on L1 in the complex. The restaurant in the Hotel has a great and reasonably priced menu all rhings considered. We arrived to no toilet paper, no milk, two stale coffee pods and even worse rock hard sticks of coffee. No tea bags at all. I mean, come on these are basics that should be incuded at reasinable quality and quantity for any stay. We have stayed in dives that provided better service. The accomodation is not cheap to start with. It did dampen the mood. They supplied them but only following a rude response from the owner asking if we wanted to cancel. Um no- we just wanted simple basics supplied as part of normal check in. I though they would replenish tea and coffe but nipe .... so in the end we drank warm milk and sugar as the coffe was terrible. They blamed it on house keeping. I would fire that kind of housekeeper. Lets just say, after a long drive from Melbourne and being on the road for hours, thinking we would wait a bit longer to use the toilet on arrival!! NOPE .. we couldn't. Fortunately for us, we asked for early chexk in as we were meeting friends at a bar downstairs before headong to the gallery and we used public facilities but it was not a great welcome.
In terms of the space, it is nice enough but felt quite cluttered and busy in the living area. Fortunately there is a study nook in the bedroom where we could put things. We selectrd it as hubby smokes (only outside) but they didn't even allow that ... so he traipsed downstairs for one ... but in al honesty he only generally smokes in the mornkng with his coffee and given he couldn't drink coffee up on the balcony, it meant less smoking overall. I would stay in the complex again, but I would find another apartment. There are plenty to choose from.
- Raimund (9/5): - Location and presentation Nothing
- Asghar (10/5): Great location and clean apartment with free parking! - Great location, nice and clean apartment with parking. No problems, so far. Bathroom floor is slightly elevated from the apartment floor, which is very sharp and dangerous, we hit the feet/toes several times accidentally and luckily didn't bleed. It is an accident waiting to happen, someone will cut their feet (if no has yet). This needs to be resolved immediately.
- Andrew (10/5): Was a pleasure to stay in would definitely stay again. - Great size, excellent location. Was very clean . Apartment was well equipped with everything you would need in the kitchen . Bed was comfortable. Washer/dryer. Was as described in listing. Nothing all great
- Lisa (10/5): -
- Ainsley (10/5): -
- michael (9/5): -
- Guest (7/5): - Saga to get key and find carport. Not Wilson's anymore as told in email.
Only 2 towels for 4 days. No towels for pool don't expect to have to take them when away. Not enough toilet paper. Wouldn't use this sort of arrangement again. I thought it was part of hotel when I booked.
- Jeannette (7/5): This type of accommodation in large apartment buildings is quite stressful to move around from the outside world to ente - The property was warm and well equipped with kitchen appliances. The view wasn’t what I expected from the advertisement I particularly didn’t like the very heavy solid feeling bed cover & suspect the mattress was rubber - also pillows were too highly stuffed - no choice ! This seems to be a common problem with hotel or hospitality beds-
- Chatkamon (8/5): -
- Satriyo (10/5): Will return when staying in Canberra - The unit is modern and full facilities. Premium location close to restaurant and canberra central mall. The sunset view is the best Nothing
- Shane (9/5): Superb - Location,everything included in room
- Frances (10/5): Comfortable and convenient, no matter the season! - This is excellent accommodation that places you within easy access to the dining precinct, shopping mall and the tram. The heated pool is a great bonus, especially in winter! Access to the in-house restaurant is beneficial if you don't want to go far for a coffee, breakfast or dinner. Underground parking is easily accessed and beneficial in inclement weather. The apartment is so well stocked with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Communication from the owner was outstanding, and detailed the access process in clear detail. Highly recommended accommodation. Nothing at all.
- Monique (10/5): Great place, super comfortable, beautiful view of black mountain. - Can’t fault this place.. really perfect and lovely. Easy with parking and close to Londsdale at restaurants and cafes. Lovely.
- Mary (10/5): A great place to stay while in Canberra - A great apartment...the owner was well organised for us the clients..the apartment has everything we needed...with a great view of Black Mountain.
The light rail was just below.
Easy walking access to Parliament house & Art Gallery.
A great stay
Thank you
Mary
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathleen (10/5): Good location. Great host and close to public transport. - Spacious - had all amenities I needed and best of all close to light rail to get to the festival I was going to.
Communication with owner was easy and they responded quickly when I had a question. Can’t think of anything.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ross (7/5): Good - there was a smell on the level four of the building that carried into the apartment ... it smelled like pet urine and rubbish which detracted from an otherwise nice stay.
- Powell (9/5): Highly recommend this apartment. - What a great apartment in an excellent location. The property had everything we needed for our 6-night stay. A real home away from home.
It really is in a fabulous location with a restaurant and a cocktail downstairs, many others within close walking distance, a Coles supermarket 2 blocks away, the city centre the same distance, with light rail opposite and the place even has a 25-30 metre swimming pool, sauna and gym. The owner was great to correspond with over a request. The apartment is a compliment to her and her thoughtfulness and attentiveness to detail was greatly appreciated. There is nothing we didn't like about this property.
- Deborah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diane (9/5): Convenient spot for a short break. - Location. Quiet. Great instructions. Slight unpleasant smell (?vomit) in kitchen / dining area. Carpark numbers make no sense.
- Dr (9/5): Superb -
- Alexander (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katie (9/5): Superb - Such a great spot, really close to lots of great restaurants, 2 min to the tram and an easy 15 min walk to the Dendy and supermarket in Canberra Central. The apartment had everything we needed including books and puzzles. The view was really lovely. We would stay here again if we revisited Canberra. It was tricky to find the pool, gym, and sauna on Level 1 because they weren't signposted in the building. Definitely read the instruction booklet before you arrive as it has a map and instructions for the carpark.
- Rob (8/5): Very good -
- Serena (10/5): Fabulous🫶🏽 - Loved watching the sunset from the balcony each night and it’s close to all the vegan food I love to eat😁 N/A
- Robyn (10/5): Would stay again - This is a modern, clean and well equipped small apartment in an excellent location. The owner was welcoming, and very responsive to my query. The access to parking is through two gates, the driveways were very tight, and larger vehicles could find it a bit challenging. I missed the information about the parking, although it was there in the online download provided. It is necessary to read through everything thoroughly as access and parking is easy but quite specific.
- William (9/5): Superb - Close to everything
- Geoff (8/5): Very good - Loacation No basic provisions
- Alan (9/5): A lovely apartment in an excellent location. - A lovely apartment in an excellent location. Nothing of substance. The apartment is west facing onto Northbourne Ave. It has a good sized balcony but the orientation of the unit and the presence of the aircon unit on the balcony means the balcony isn't very useful on a warm afternoon. The unit has very good sound proofing provided the doors are closed.
- Marcin (9/5): Superb -
- Kathy (9/5): Superb - Location
- Geoff (9/5): Superb -
- Ron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claire (10/5): Great location close to centre of Canberra and a well appointed apartment - The apartment had great views, very comfortable Nothing to dislike
- Kath (9/5): Lovely location and view. Host was very responsive and nice. Would definitely stay again - The location was great, the apartment was clean The fob key didn’t work for the parking area, which became a pain
- Deana (10/5): Exceptional - Great location next to hotel with restaurant , walk into city centre, light rail across the road, everything perfect!! Great visit to Canberra All good
- Sandra (10/5): Wonderful -
- Kaye (10/5): Exceptional -
- Edna (8/5): central location, clean and modern; would definitely stay again - central location, nice view, very good public transport, fairly well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, nice sofa & easy chairs,
claire, the hostess was very nice and welcoming no pressure in the shower, skint on towels, only one tea towel, the set up in the lobby is a bit confusing
- Diane (9/5): Would stay there again - Spacious
Location Not much. Too many plastic flowers - pet hate.
- Bob (8/5): good for purpose - good location hallways could be cleaner
- Brian (9/5): Superb -
- Sally (10/5): Highly recommended - Great location to restaurants and pubs easy key access clean and very comfortable with nice views Nothing
- Michelle (9/5): A great apartment that is located near all ammenities. - The apartment was well presented , very clean and comfortable with great views of Canberra .
Right across from the light rail and very close to some excellent restaurants made it a perfect location for our holiday . Gaining access to level three carpark was difficult due to the sharp turns on the down ramps .
- Victoria (10/5): Enjoyed our trip - Great view
Comfortable
Quiet No issue
- Serena (10/5): We really enjoyed our stay. Thank-you! - Location, walking distance to lots of eateries. Having games and toiletries were appreciated. The access to the gym and pool. Good and easy communication. This is just a tip:
If the hotel could a sign pointing in which direction you need to go when you hop out of the elevator to go to the pool and gym. That would be appreciated and valued.
- Coral (9/5): Superb -
- Paula (9/5): Great facilities, location, comfortable and first rate communication with owner. - Great location, comfortable bed, strong shower, nice bathroom products, coffee machine, cosy, nice balcony. Considering it was on the main road it was quiet as very good glazing on doors and windows. Communication with owner was awesome.
- Deborah (9/5): A great place to stay in a central location, with excellent facilities. - Excellent facilities, great location, secure parking. Clear instructions for access. N/A
- Christina (9/5): Great place to stay - Lovely apartment, very clean and well equipped (though could do with an oven glove). Nicely furnished and comfortable, quiet and very well located. Excellent instructions on how to get into the apartment and carpark. We do like to meet the host but Claire was very nice on the phone. We would stay again Nothing
- Inge (9/5): Superb - The apartment was really tidy and well stocked. The location was fantastic and the host was very transparent and responsive. Would recommend for other travellers. The parking was quite tight, which I had expected, but then the access pass stopped working on the second day so I had to park elsewhere. I mentioned it to the host after checkout as the alternative parking was fine for the short term, but she was very responsive, so I'm sure if it had been urgent she would have resolved it quickly.
- Heather (9/5): Clean, comfortable and great location - Location N/A
- Sarah (10/5): Excellent location. Best accommodation. - Property had everything you could need for your stay. The host was amazing. Had zero issues while we were at this accommodation. We cannot understate how clean, comfortable, easy it was stay at mountain view’s. There was nothing we didn’t like about our stay.
- Tony (6/5): Noisy - Staff were excellent. Noise around motel kept us awake.
Being across from the hospitals we were often waken by ambulance sirens
- Wendy (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is centrally located with easy access to all of the Canberra tourist destinations. There were a variety of restaurants within a 5 - to 10-minute walk from the apartment.
The apartment is spacious and included everything needed for our 5-night stay.
The communication re access codes, parking etc was all set out clearly in email communication. We were very happy with everything.
- Rachel (10/5): Beautiful perfect location - Location to restaurants was fantastic. It was a short drive to sites like War Memorial, Parliament House etc. Nothing!
- Pamela (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was in a perfect location and had all required amenities and finishing touches. Good instructions given to access the key and car park space
Clair the superhost even supplied us with provisions that was above our expectations and much appreciated No issues at all. the apartment was a real home from home
- Kylie (8/5): Great for a short stay in the capital - Location, room and bar The stuffiness in the hallway which meant you could smell the bin room
- Maria (9/5): Superb -
- Susie (10/5): Excellent! Will try to come back next year. -
- Ric (10/5): Exceptional - Location was great, close to City Centre and light rail. Host was very helpful when we made contact about an issue with second key and access card.
- John (10/5): Wonderful luxury apartment in Canberra - Elegant apartment one tram stop north (walking distance) of Canberra CBD. The place has everything you'd want in an accommodation. Washing machine and very well-stocked kitchen supplies and linens. Clean, very quiet building, with nice views from balcony and living room. Large-screen TV with many channels. Lockbox not as complicated as it sounded; only one key, and need fob to get on elevator. Great apartment; wish we could have stayed longer.
- Francesco (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rochelle (9/5): Superb -
- Julie (9/5): Excellent - Excellent accommodation and helpful communications throughout. We had no trouble accessing the keys, very clear instructions. We liked everything, a lovely little apartment. Short walk to some great restaurants.

- Karen (10/5): Exceptional - Great Location. Apartment was equiped with everything you could think of. excellent WiFi.Easy access to all locations. We left the car in the carpark and walked into Town. Even reading material was provided.Clair our host was extremely helpful.
- Anne (10/5): Great location, well equipped apartment comfy bed. - Beautifully presented apartment in a perfect location, right opposite the light rail if you need and on-site car parking. Well equiped for everything you might need. Nothing to dislike
- Doris (10/5): Had a wonderful stay, unit was very clean and comfortable. - Unit was very comfortable and very clean. Close to the city center, with undercover parking available. The kitchenette and laundry facilities were an added bonus.
- Mei (10/5): A great spot to stay in Canberra if you want to be close to the action - We loved the location and also really appreciated how well thought out the unit was. It's not big but had everything a traveller would want, from hooks in the bathroom, power points and reading lights next to each bed, a well equipped kitchen etc. We felt this host had a good understanding of the little things that make a short stay apartment comfortable. The apartment is an easy walk to an excellent restaurant strip on Lonsdale St, and Canberra Centre and Civic are a ten minute walk away. We only had one very minor gripe that the owner is aware of — difficulty in accessing the key as the numbers on the letterbox lock are very small and difficult to read. Bring your iPhone camera or magnifying glass!
- Sophie (9/5): Superb -
- Nick (9/5): Overall we were very happy with it! Will be staying there again I think. - Everything was really close by and there was a cafe/restaurant in the building! Not alot of instruction on how the facilities worked, such as the oven and the hotplate light and fan.
- Andrzej (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steve (10/5): Enjoyed every moment of it -
- Kaylene (10/5): Enjoyable - Great location Car park access
Lack of information regarding apartment located in apartment block listed as a different name
- Andrea (9/5): Superb -
- Patricia (8/5): Great location. Comfy unit. - The view from the room of the light rail, city and mountain in the background was enjoyable. The room was comfy and modern. The location was terrific. Near everything we needed. Getting the key was a nightmare for me as was the parking. Opening the letterbox was very difficult but I was warned by the owner and she is intending to fix it. But once done it was fine. I really needed to spend more time reading all the info regarding parking ahead of time rather than waiting until we were about to enter the car park as there were cars peeping behind us.
- Wendy (9/5): Superb -
- Sharon (9/5): Superb -
- Taylah (10/5): can’t wait to come back - such a beautiful place! so clean, comfy, easy to check in and out when suits, beautiful views, everything you need!
- Paul (10/5): super enjoyable stay and highly recommended👍 - for me the Location was #1, proximity to my venue in the City. it is a modern, very new, super clean, fresh, cozy and very well designed apartment, sophisticated design, perfect view! all the ticks👍in the immediate vicinity plenty of good food, restaurants and shops. garage located at the basement on -3 level. your key will have a phob to acces the lifts and the garage entry, located at the back I think it was like 24 Mort Street Braddon. the place is highly recommended so please check it out but be respectful to the place do we can all share it for years to come🙏🤗 you simply cannot fault this amazing apartment!
- Glen (10/5): Central Canberra location, ticks all the boxes - Everything! Excellently managed, modern, clean, all the facilities, very comfortable, central location, secure parking, and value for money. Nothing.
