• dennis (9/5): Would return when I next go to Norwich , nothing to dislike - It was a two minute walk into the town centre and a ten minute stroll to the theatre. The bedroom was nice and quiet and the ability to open the windows wide meant I slept well. A cosy and fully equipped property. I think in the summer it could be too warm and there is no air conditioning, however there is a large floor fan
• Lynn (7/5): Great location, nice apartment, but not luxury - The apartment was light & airy, with nice views across the city, and just a minutes walk to all the shops, bars & restaurants. The kitchen was clean and well equipped with dishwasher & washing machine. Bathroom was nice, with a rain forest shower and good hot water. Parking is available underneath the building. The building itself is looking tired and dirty. The lift was unpleasant and communal areas are dirty with rubbish. The apartment itself could do with a refresh. Quite a few scuff marks on skirting, doors and walls, and parts of woodwork in bathroom skirting need attention. Dust build up behind tvs and on plant. The bathroom mirror pull cord is dirty and the toilet brush needs throwing away. Multiple stains on spare duvet. Sofa was a bit lumpy and uncomfortable in the living area. Took me a while to work out that the tv and hairdryer in the bedroom only work when the switch next to the bed is on. Didn’t appear to be a Netflix subscription, so you can’t watch that if you don’t have your own to login to. The reception on the bedroom tv was intermittent. The window in the bathroom offers a nice view across the city when you’re in the shower. However, questionable whether anybody so inclined could see you naked. It’s 5 floors up so unlikely, but felt a little exposed.
• June (8/5): Excellent location and value - Excellent location for restaurants etc., Good secure parking. Very spacious comfortable apartment. Modern very clean kitchen with everything and more than you would need. Fabulous views of the city. Not the owners fault as the apartment was spotless but some of the communal areas were not.
• Emma (6/5): Good location although not sure I would have booked it had I known it was a converted office block. - Bed was comfy. Things we raised were dealt with. Grotty lift, which didn't feel very safe. We had to raise cleaning issues with owner. Need to ensure facilities really are as described. Horrendous rubbish collection problem on site. Clearly not collected for weeks and weeks and it has been gone through and was strewn everywhere by animals.

• Leanne (6/5): Frustrating location but comfortable stay gad everything we needed in the apartment - The property was very spacious and comfortable. Great WiFi connectivity which was great. Location, the lack of sings directions given, it took us over two hours to find the property. The postcode and directions given were challenging. Staff members at the hotel attached to the building didn’t even understand directions I had been given or recall knowing vantage house. This was also same with locals who I asked. The signage on a wall near car entrance is very easy to miss so small. The entrance to the building from the car park was very difficult to find no signs or directions, so easily missed you wouldn’t have thought an entrance would be in that location. This was only discovered after we got in the building the following day. The road entrance to the property has no signs and looks like a commercial building. We only found this because a very helpful Gentleman who must of herd my distress recall the name of the property had stayed in the building kindly walked us to the road entrance of the building, which I was so grateful for. With this stressful experience I missed my daughter rehearsal for her competition the following day. I dropped her off at 6:30pm didn’t get into property until 8:40pm, the property was 4 min drive away from the venue. The property owner did answer my call, I was exhausted and distressed but his instructions still didn’t get us to the property without someone’s knowledge of the building we wouldn’t have found it. I have dyslexia and struggle with new places and navigating them. With the details given other people still were not able to locate the property. I think the owner needs to acknowledge this make adjustment to their discretion and add pictures of the building, building entrance, parking facilities and parking so it is clear for everyone including people like myself that struggle with navigation.

• Lilian (9/5): Overnight stay - Nice apartment, had a comfortable bed, clean and well presented. Good location for the city. Everything we needed was supplied. All very nice and would return. Good value as sofa bed available so would accommodate four easily. Small amount of tea and coffee left as a starter, lots of shops nearby if you need more. Excellent communication from host. Would like a mattress protector on bed, bathroom had a bit of a pungent smell of drains. Lifts and building were a bit grubby but once in flat all was good. Dirty plate left in microwave but that is a small thing,.

The bedroom would benefit from a good dust and the windows from a wash - these detail give the place a tacky appearance

The area was quiet at night, had a good nights sleep. Great that free parking was available. Also appreciated the quick response from the owner and the clear instructions to access the apartment. Nothing, felt it was good value for money .

• Lesley (8/5): Great location, with a few tweaks it would be a perfect place to stay - Location was excellent. Free parking a bonus and communication about getting in was excellent. Liked the sweets and biscuits provided. Quiet too so we slept really well. Only one mug in the kitchen was a pain. The couch in the living room wasn’t that comfortable to sit on and the heater was really noisy. We couldn’t get normal stations on the tv either.

• Colin (9/5): Well located, quiet apartment. - It is a centrally located clean, quiet apartment, that suited the two of us. As other reviews have said, the lifts were dismal, but I appreciate this is largely out of the control of the owner.

Location is unbeatable - as central as it gets, and with a ton of great cafe's / restaurants / etc within 3 mins walking distance. Heating system in winter time - the house got really warm 2-3 minutes after we turned it on. Parking under the building - means no snow on top of our car. Lifts in the building - not sure who's responsible for the state of those.. Cold bathroom floor (during a winter stay). Dishwasher not really usable - previous guests must have assumed that it would just wash the cups and utensils (like most dishwashers do?), but it left stains and bits of food on them.

Love-heart sweeties on arrival. The coffee machine. The appatment was clean and tidy. THE LIFT needs servicing. [The one on the left in particular]. THE HEATING SYSTEM..... some PRINTED straight-forward operational instructions would help. In particular, we couldn't find a way to switch on the towel rail/heater in the bathroom. The heaters make clunky noises during day and night.

• UtilityChef (9/5): Lovely apartment in Norwich City Centre - Great location in the city centre, steps away from Norwich Market and just off St Giles Street. There is parking available below and access control allows you into the building. The apartment is well equipped for a short or long stay, with all the appliances, utensils, crockery and cutlery for 3-4 guests. We appreciated that there was adequate dish detergent and a dish scrub available to handwash some mugs and glasses instead of using the dishwasher. The host also provided enough towels for 3 adults as communicated, whilst the washroom contains plenty of soap and shampoo. The bedroom is quite modern, airy, comfortable and contains a very nice mattress, an LCD TV with several internet based entertainment options and an electric fan. There are two modern futon sofa beds in the apartment so there is scope for upto 4 people to sleep comfortably. The building entrance which is poorly lit feels a bit spooky despite the area being safe. It may be difficult for some people to spot the keypad buttons as its mixed amongst older access control.

• Anne (10/5): Excellent Stay in Norwich - The apartment was in a really good location, close to the markets and shops. It was within walking distance to attractions such as the cathedral and the castle. It had everything you would need for a short or long stay. The check in process was easy and the staff followed up with us about anything we may have needed. Really enjoyed our stay.

Sat Nav does not find the flat, by car, but to be fair the owner send info saying this with detailed instructions how to find it. Outside looks shabby but flat is great.

• Michele Jones (10/5): Lovely apartment in the heart of the city - A really lovely apartment on the 4th floor of a modern looking apartment building, tucked away on a back street in the heart of Norwich. Well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, and all the usual kitchen appliances, not that we needed to use them on our 2 night stay, but would be very useful on a longer stay, I'm sure. The main room was spacious, as was the bedroom and bathroom, and the bed was very comfortable. There were a few teabags, coffee pods, sugar, biscuits, milk sachets provided, much as you'd get in a hotel room, which was a nice touch, plus washing up liquid, tea towel, a couple of washing pods and a dishwasher tablet. Also soap, shampoo and shower gel dispensers in the bathroom. A big bonus for a city centre apartment, was the free on-site parking and the fact that it really was in the heart of this beautiful city, which we'd never visited before, so everywhere was walkable, including the venue of the wedding we were there to attend, along with the Castle and both Cathedrals. The communication received from the host was excellent, with prompt answers to any questions I had and very clear instructions sent on how to find the car park and the entrances to the property, along with photo's, which really did help as it is tucked away behind a mostly pedestrian area. We will certainly look for availability at this apartment first, the next time we visit Norwich. Nothing really, a few more hangers in the wardrobe wouldn't go amiss, especially if you're staying longer than a couple of nights, but everything else about the apartment was great. Nothing to do with the host, because they were great, but the communal areas of the apartment block, lifts, car park etc, could do with a bit of tlc and a good clean!
• Paul (10/5): Fantastic Apartment With Free On-Site Parking. - Absolutely fantastic. Location just off the High Street but not on it so no noise. Apartment was fantastic, bedroom was massive. Immaculately clean and ready when I arrived (45 mins early). Host was brilliant, kept in touch and when I needed to add a car to the free carpark it was done without a problem. My new 'Go to' when I'm working in Norwich. Outside could be maintained slightly better, but nothing the host could do about this. I reccomended 100%
• Brown (10/5): Beautiful apartment - Fresh and clean. The bed was so comfortable. The bath was lovely to lay and relax and had everything you need. This was booked for a little self love and care after a relationship break down and suffering mental health issues lately. I am quite local and live in great Yarmouth but I felt like I was a million miles away. I enjoyed the location and property so much so that I have enquired about a property that is to rent in the building as a permanent tenant. I will be back very soon and there will be many more reviews. Great price and location. Clean and comfortable. What else could I ask for. Everything I needed. Thank you for an amazing stay The lifts are a little confusing and one of the lifts had no lighting but this isn't the hosts fault but the building managers

L'appartamento era carino (camera matrimoniale + cucina con divano letto a una piazza e mezzo), pulito e fornito del necessario. I proprietari sono stati celeri nel rispondere alle nostre domande tramite la app di booking. Consigliato! l'ingresso e l'ascensore del palazzo in cui si trova l'appartamento sono molto sporchi e mal tenuti. Pensavamo lo fosse anche l'appartamento. Invece poi entrando nel nostro appartamento era tutto in ordine e pulito come presentato sul sito. Inoltre, abbiamo avuto molta difficoltà a raggiungere l'ingresso del parcheggio mediante google maps. Consiglio ai proprietari di inserire anche il civico relativo di ingresso al parcheggio (oltre la strada). Nel nostro caso il navigatore si fermava nelle strade parallele rendendo difficoltoso raggiungere il parcheggio in auto (per qualche motivo riconosceva la strada come pedonale). Per il resto tutto buono e corrispondente a quanto ci aspettavamo. Grazie

He very kindly let us leave our car there after check- out so we could spend time in Norwich, which was much appreciated. Great location and easy check-in. The fan in the apartment was a welcome addition and put to good use! The sofa was uncomfortable and needs upgrading. However, this didn't detract from our stay.

The apartment is in a great location: really close to the city centre, yet lovely and peaceful. George is a fantastic host, really helpful and responsive. I could not recommend this place more, and will certainly return. I can't think of any improvements.

Great communication with George too. It wasn’t easy to keep the apartment (on the 5th floor) cool during a spell of warm sunny weather, and there were some other small improvements we’ve suggested (such as a larger or extra towel rail in the bathroom). But these things do not detract much from a great stay.
• Angela (6/5): Central area, modern apartment in need of some maintenance/freshening up - Location; modern decor in flat. Nice looking bathroom. Fan in bedroom - the only way to cool the place down. Good communication with host who was very helpful. Broken down dishwasher (1 big requirement for this booking), so no cooking possible, no draining board at sink, only 1 kitchen towel, not enough mugs (3 more supplied next day); only 1 teaspoon, 3 forks & 3 knives ; bathroom so dark, you can’t put on make-up, tiny wash basin, broken shower bracket so shower cannot be moved up/down; no hooks so nowhere to hang towels. All windows only open out by some 10 cm, so very hot on 4th floor. Wardrobe in bedroom contained ironing board & hover, so nowhere to hang/place our clothes. Top of wardrobe had piles of duvets on top - very unsightly. Illegally parked van in car park obstructed the exit, so we could not use our car for 16 hours ! Mega annoying. And the car park operator does not work after 17.00 hrs., so no action was taken (there were 2 other drivers in there who could not park their vehicles). Car park very dirty (mostly from overflowing large bins) & in need of maintenance.

• Saffron (8/5): Great apartment. Not so great host. - The apartment itself was fantastic. Bed was super comfy and facilities were great. The apartment was not easy to find. We arrived at 10pm and couldn’t find the apartment until 10.30 after having to walk up and down the streets looking for the door number. After we checked out, the host accused us of smoking in the apartment and wanted £38. We were barely in the apartment as we travelled for a wedding.. my partner smokes and was smoking at the wedding as it was outside so yes his suit smelt of smoke but he absolutely did not smoke in the apartment. We only had a coffee each and a shower in the apartment other than that we were out alol day and we left early Sunday morning to get back to our 1 year old son 5 hours away.

• Fiona (9/5): A wonderful, comfortable and clean apartment in a fantastic location. - This a really lovely apartment, with great facilities, in a fantastic location. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet, with great views across the city. I would definitely stay again if I needed accommodation in Norwich. For a two night stay, it would have been appreciated if a few more coffee pods and sugar sachets could have been provided, but this is a really minor comment. The shower leaks a little but again, this had minimal to no impact on my stay, which was fantastic.

• Kelly (7/5): Brilliant location - Location was brilliant and parking was easy and stress free. Most of the apartment was spotlessly clean, and it was roomy for two people. It was what we needed for our stay. Communication with the host was superb. Coiled not have asked for better. The entrance is a bit dismal (although I realise that this is outside of the hosts control), and the lifts to the 5th floor weren’t great. One was out of order and the other had very minimal lighting. The bathroom is tired and slightly grimy in places (needs sealing etc.). The cups in the cupboard were dirty.

We were able to walk most places we wanted to visit. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, and had everything we needed for our short stay. The host was proactive and responsive. We found it tricky to find the car park first time as the entrance is slightly hidden when you approach from the obvious direction. Once we’d realised that the narrow road was actually 2-way, it was easier , but we did find some of the spaces in it a bit narrow. But after asking the host we found some easier spaces. The lifts didn’t inspire confidence as one only had emergency lighting, but they always worked
