- Adam (7/5): Good value! THanks. - Nice location. Easy to get to and good local eats. There was a laundry basket that had mold on the bottom.
- Dani (10/5): Beautiful authentic - It’s perfect so cute and so aesthetically appealing
- Andrew (10/5): Good enough - Clean The 50 cleaning fee
- Elizabeth (5/5): Noisy and Misleading - Full kitchen and reasonably well equipped in terms of dishes and supplies. Mostly clean. This property claims to be someone's home, but it's clear no one actually lives there. Everything was Amazon Commercial branded, and who doesn't know the code to their own laundry room? I'm pretty sure all of my messages were responded to by a chatbot. They were overly wordy with a ton of emojis and without a lot of useful information, and it took two tries to get the correct laundry code. Additionally, it was never mentioned that the door didn't lock automatically. I figured that out accidentally, or else I would have left my belongings unlocked all day. That seems like pretty critical info.
The pictures on the listing were misleading, because they showed a separate bedroom and sitting area but this was just one big room, with no additional seating other than the bed that was functional.
There's technically a little cafe table and chairs in the kitchen, but no one put any thought into them because the chairs were too tall for the table, so it was impossible to fit your legs between the table and chairs, making the whole set up useless. For a 4 night stay, having somewhere else to sit besides the bed is pretty valuable, and I wouldn't have booked this listing if the pictures had matched the reality. It's one thing to show different furnishings, but another to have a completely different layout.
The kitchen has a full oven, but no baking pans or sheets, making the oven useless...
The faucet in the bathroom is too powerful for the tiny sink, so we had to be really careful not to flood the bathroom. The toilet paper holder was behind the door so far from the toilet that it was almost impossible to reach while sitting on the toilet, making it really awkward to use the bathroom. Another sign of thoughtless layout and lack of real human touch.
In terms of cleanliness, I was initially impressed, everything looked clean, but then I found a wet towel hanging in the corner of the shower curtains. It was gross!
