- Elita (10/5): Loved it will stay again - The owner answered when I called after the door code would not work. The door code thing stopped working and had to call and get key out of lock box
- Jenni (3/5): Property falls far short of the standard expected of an 'executive' stay - The location worked well for what we needed, and the house comfortably fit our group. It’s spread over three levels, which meant everyone had their own space (a plus when travelling with multiple adults).
Ted and the management team were very responsive and polite in their communications. As noted in other reviews, the property really needs a deep clean. On arrival we noticed dust in very obvious places, rubbish on the floor and dirty mirrors and glass. We contacted the management company and a cleaner was sent, which we appreciated, but unfortunately most of the issues remained.
Beyond that, the carpets are heavily stained and the walls are quite marked. The cutlery was sticky and needed washing before use, there were crumbs in the microwave, and the empty dishwasher had a strong unpleasant smell. There also weren’t enough plates, glasses or mugs for our group of five, despite the property being marketed for eight. We had to wash items as we went.
The bedding was also disappointing. The linen was very thin and worn, and the fitted sheets did not stay on the mattresses (as the elastic was too stretched). The doona on the upstairs bed wasn’t large enough, and although a second was provided (which we appreciated), it made for an awkward and uncomfortable sleep. The shampoo, conditioner and dishwashing liquid were also waterier than the provided brands usually are.
There was no laundry basket provided, and with the washing machine located away from the outdoor clothes airers, hanging washing became a one-handed exercise in frustration. More than a few items ended up on the pavers. Additionally, the main living area contained children’s toys and a high chair, which took up space despite our booking not including any children. These should ideally be removed unless specifically required.
Finally, for those unfamiliar with the area (as we were), this is not a particularly good part of town. We didn’t feel safe walking alone, encountered people visibly under the influence, and had to avoid a discarded syringe on the walk to Woolworths.
The property is marketed as an 'executive' stay, which generally comes with an expectation of quality and attention to detail. Unfortunately, this property does not meet that standard.

- Laura (10/5): - Location was great for our needs. The house is massive with loads of spaces to hang out together or separately. Two kitchens is crazy, but they were well stocked. Would have liked a coffee machine, though we ended up finding good cafes nearby.

- Fotiades (10/5): Great townhouse for larger groups to stay. Two separate living areas. Central location. - The location was perfect. Very easy to get to. Close to Optus Oval and the Casino. Lots of food options close by. The beds in the basement are low and not comfortable like the ones upstairs. We were older guests and those beds made it difficult for one of our party members. There wasn’t seating in the outside courtyard and the stagnant water in the water feature stunk. We were all smokers and wanted to sit outside but couldn’t and had to sit on the upstairs balcony which was crowded especially when we had others turn up to go on outings. Have you considered a small Webber BBQ or similar as that was the only thing lacking. We did stay one night down the cost and that property had a BBQ which was jumped and used.

- Tay (8/5): - The location was near the main city and many tourist attractions. It was also close to the supermarket and petrol kiosk. The infra red door lock is difficult to work with. It was not secured on the door and keeps dropping out.
The pots and pans, baking trays etc were worn out and stained.

- Zi (1/5): Bad - Nothing Walls were stained with various colours, rug on the second floor looks as if it had been ravaged by an angry lion, smoking area on the balcony had leftover cigarette butts and was really nasty with black gunk, the washing machine had a transparent slime on its walls so we didn’t use it at all. The fridge had leftover milk and noodles from the previous person that stayed and had we stayed any longer than 2 nights, me and my family would have gone absolutely insane by the nastiness and dirtiness of this place. Location was good and near the city, the house is well built and captivating but needs serious renovation and upkeeping.
- Tan (9/5): Excellent location > 10 mins walk to MD, Woolworth, IGA > 30 mins walk to Elizabeth Quay, Hey Street - Location is great, easy to move around with bus (free/pay) or walking. House is big enough for 8 of us. When we arrived, it was so sweet that the 2 refrigerator in the house equiped with 2 bottles of 1.5L mineral water, 2 small pack of cereals and instant noodles. I wish owner could look into the surrounding area, as there are mosquito in the house. I am indeed happy to find 2 wall clock in the house, sad to say that the clock is not working.
