Guest Reviews
- Mark Thorne (10/5): The most perfect place to stay - We absolutely loved this villa, it was truly breathtaking. From the moment we walked in, we were amazed by the stunning floor-to-ceiling windows that stretched across the property, offering incredible views of the jungle. Watching monkeys, macaws, and all kinds of wildlife moving through the trees right from the villa was such a magical experience.
The pool was perfect, beautifully maintained, and an ideal place to relax and take in the surroundings. We were also lucky enough to meet the owner, who was absolutely wonderful, and gave us so much helpful information about the local area, which made our stay even more special.
The house itself was immaculate, beautifully cared for, and had everything we could have ever needed. We honestly wished we could have stayed much longer. It felt like absolute paradise, and we would recommend it without hesitation.
- Abbey (10/5): Beautiful home with amazing jungle views and wildlife sightings. - The main house and smaller house were both clean, beautiful, and comfortable. House was well stocked with coffee, detergent, shampoo, soaps, etc. Pool was clean and had a great temperature. We saw lots of birds and animals. You can walk to a fun nature park from the house. Nothing at all.
On recommande à 100%! Rien
- Julia Meighan (9/5): Amazing - The house was stunning as was the pool and the beds really comfortable. Loved the size of the rooms and the bathroom with twin sinks in the main bedroom Not better but just a suggestion to have an information booklet so you can put things in like how to look the patio doors, recycling, use of the safe etc Just means less texting with the owner
- LancasterJoe (10/5): Definitely worth it and would stay again. It sits right on the edge of a national park. - The video sent to me was crucial at arrival during darkness. There were no issues getting access to the property that night. Chris was very accessible throughout our stay. We hired a chef to come every night. The kitchen was equipped adequately for him and giving him access to the lock box made for a very relaxed experience so he could arrive when needed without our needing to be present. There is a ton of wildlife to observe from the pool area in the back. The property sits right on the edge of the national park. It's literally the last property before it turns to jungle. We really enjoyed the woodpecker tree and how the Toucans would 'interact' with them almost daily. We often saw paired scarlet Macaws. Troops of capuchin and squirrel monkeys came through a few of the days. We heard the howlers nearby but they didn't come close enough to see (you can easily find them in Manuel Antonio National Park). We found the chef experience really special (and surprisingly not that much more expensive than eating out every night at the restaurants and clubs along the main road). That third bedroom is a stand-alone studio apartment with a floor to ceiling glass wall facing the jungle (literally right at the edge). My daughter took that room and found it magical.

- Nicola (10/5): Tolles Ferienhaus - Traumhafte Lage, sehr sauber, super ausgestattet.
- Suzie (9/5): Abaolutely stunning property. If we come back to Manuel Antonio we would definitely want to stay here again - The location right next to the jungle, the tranquility with just the sounds of the jungle, the space of the rooms and how well equipped the house was. The daily visits to the grounds from the animals, birds and butterflies was superb.
The hosts were excellent and extremely helpful and responsive. I didn’t appreciate the third bedroom was in a separate house on the grounds. We don’t end up using this room since our boys were still a bit young to sleep in a separate unit and we didn’t feel comfortable sleeping so far away from them.
The balcony looking straight into the jungle in this room is wonderful through and we would sit out there mornings and evenings. The separate unit for the 3rd bedroom would be perfect if or two families travelling together, or someone with older children. It has its own separate kitchenette and bathroom which makes it ideal.

- Tiffany (10/5): Wonderful private home and pool in the jungle! - The property was beautiful, and it was right in the middle of the jungle. We heard and saw so many animals native to the area. Chris was exceptional…from helping us find an ATM to assisting us with contacting an Urgent Care for our sick daughter. The private pool was also a wonderful bonus! Highly recommend! The TV in our room did not work properly, but Chris let me know they were in the process of replacing them.
- Laura (10/5): We loved our jungle side oasis! - It was stunning! The private pool welcomed us home at the end of each day and we were visited by monkeys there as well! Plenty of space to spread out with all the comforts of home. Absolutely nothing not to like!
- Anca (10/5): Great stay, amazing host and experience - The nice house, tastefully decorated by our amazing host Andria. Cozy, modern and welcoming space in the middle of the jungle, bordering the National Park with plenty of birds and wild life . Thank you Andria for your hospitality, for all the info provided and the opportunity to to experience CR in a beautiful, comfy and safe environment.
- Karen (10/5): WOW, what a house to enjoy the Rainforest! - Jungle Glory Home was a big highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. We did the Manual Antonio guided tour but actually got closer to Toucans, Iguanas, white faced monkeys and woodpeckers while chilling by the pool! The monkeys even came to the pool to stick their arms and legs in to cool down! The house is spectacular with all beds superkings that look out to the forest. Having the BBQ was fab and this has to be the rental house with the finest choice in condements I have ever seen! Chris was wonderful and helped us with restaurants, supermarkets and a garage to fix our slow puncture! Thank you for such a wonderful memorable experience.
- Andrea (10/5): Relaxing jungle vibes - We had a wonderful stay at Jungle Glory Home. The house is beautiful and very clean. It was so relaxing to sit by the pool and watch the monkeys jumping from tree to tree. We saw squirrel, capuchin and howler monkeys each day of our stay. The howlers are loud and they did startle us the first night, but we wanted to experience the jungle—and we did!
Chris and his team arranged transportation for us from the airport to the house, Biesanz beach, the national park and our next rental. They even stocked the fridge for us prior to our arrival. All of this made it possible for my husband to sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery for once with none of the stress of driving in a new place. All of our drivers were outstanding and very friendly. We had a great stay!
- Faye (10/5): Beautiful house surrounded by nature - Beautiful house right next to/in the trees bordering the national park. We saw monkeys, toucans, deer, paca, macaws while we sipped our tea in the morning. The casita is right in the trees, was lovely to sleep so close to nature. Houses and pool very clean, Carlos welcomed us and was so helpful with our questions throughout the stay. The road to the property is paved but steep!
- Ryan (10/5): This house wasn’t just someplace to stay. This made our trip to Manuel Antonio what is was! Lots of capuchin monkeys vis - Location, pool, cleanliness, communication Power outage left us without AC for ~4 hours during the night. Got a little hot in there!
- Joanna (10/5): A fantastic place for a longer stay - a beautiful hidden jem overlooking a jungle - The property has everything that you could wish for to spend fantastic time with family or friends. The pool is overlooking the tropical forest that is full of birds and animals, including monkeys. They came to visit us and we fed them with bananas. Our daughter loved this experience.
There are two houses at the property, both of a very high standard. We stayed in the main house that was beautifully furnished and was really well prepared for the guests.
A host was also fantastic. Nothing was ever an issue. I hope we are going to have a possibility to come back to this house one day. There is one thing missing - a dishwasher, but we didn’t cook that much to need every day.
- Trent (10/5): Very happy with my stay here and would 100% recommend it - We booked the Abajo house for our family of four of two parents and two teenagers. The property is located right next to an undeveloped protected jungle, so we saw and heard plenty of wildlife: howler monkeys, squirrel monkeys, agoutis, and even iguanas. The main house is fully furnished with a complete kitchen and two bedrooms each with a king bed and a shower. There is a patio with a private pool, and then a separate casita with a queen bed, shower, small kitchen, and floor-to-ceiling windows that look right out into the jungle. The design is modern, and the house is neat. A sliding sturdy entry gate to the property from the road adds a layer of security. The concierge, Chris was friendly, informative, energetic, full of ideas and recommendations for the area, and readily available by WhatsApp. It’s a bit far from town, but a taxi service is easily available by WhatsApp, and we never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a taxi. Manuel Antonio is spread out anyway, hilly, and the roads mostly don’t have sidewalks. So even if I had stayed in town, I would have used a taxi.
- Pepper (9/5): A tropical haven - The location Limited Cooking facilities.
- Maria (10/5): A great way experience we want to repeat - everything!! It is an incredible place into the nature, and we were able to see more animals there than any other place we visited or any park
- Arlette (8/5): Very good -
- Carey (10/5): Delightful and comfortable house off the beaten path, quiet except for the monkeys! - Gorgeous and comfortable home, very well appointed. Nice they have beach gear to borrow. Chris the property manager was super helpful. The kids loved, loved the pool! The casita was the cutest. It was a perfect stay for our our family while we Nada
- Maritza (10/5): Exceptional - It is such a beautiful home in the middle of the jungle. The host was very gracious and welcoming. The place is very clean and nice. It's a bit far and hard to reach, but still only 10 minutes from the main street by car.
- Ronen (10/5): Exceptional - The place is amazing.
in the middle of the jungle.
everything was great.
Andria and Chris are an awonderful host, chris guided us and gave us a feeling like at home. there was electricity problems but its somthing that was in the whole area and chris try to push the electricity company as much as he could
- Jurga (10/5): The best place we stayed in 2 weeks in Costa Rica - We loved everything about this place!
Beautiful house and pool overlooking the jungle where we saw tons of wildlife, including aras, toucans, a sloth, and many others we don’t even know the names of.
The kitchen is extremely well equipped. Washing machine is nice to have on a road trip.
Property manager is very friendly and ready to answer any questions you may have.
There is one local restaurant and a mini supermarket within walking distance (about 10 minutes up and down hilly walk). For the rest you need a car. The road to get there was quite narrow and steep.
- Barski (10/5): Best time ever!! - Amazing trip! Great location and host. We will be back!
- Jacqueline (10/5): Exceptional - We loved this property. Very private and safe. The pool provided a wonderful place to hang out to watch and listen to wildlife. The house and in law suite were fully stocked, very spacious and very clean. Chris was an excellent host!!
- Carolyn (10/5): Fabulous! - This was the most beautiful stop on our 2 week trip to Costa Rica. Our host was so friendly and made our arrival feel so special. The home and casita were just stunning. We spent most of our time outside, watching the birds and monkeys as they played in the back yard. I would stay here anytime:) The road to the home was in terrible shape.
- Pablo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Courtney (10/5): We came here for my daughters “Two Wild” birthday and man it didn’t disappoint! - It’s absolutely beautiful! From the wildlife to the landscaping to the home it’s breathtaking.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carla (10/5): Fantastic home in Quepos - Great location. House was large and clean. The forest was really beautiful behind the house. Bed was comfy and the pool was good. I wish we had known before hand that we needed to pay by cash only at the property. Would be great if Booking.com could just charge our card like they have done at all the other places e have stayed as we were driving around at 8pm at night trying to find an ATM.
- Thomas (10/5): Excellent vacation rental in every way - Everything. Property was beautiful, great location and beautiful wildlife in the area. Nothing
- Ricardo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adel (10/5): highly recommend. - beautiful property with stylish touches at every corner. host was very prompt responding to our questions. enjoyed time in the patio by the pool. very spacious for our family of four.
