- SHALINI (4/5): - The location. The ambience of the place is amazing but sadly that's just about it. The staff is least interested in doing their jobs. You need to remind them 3-4 times even for the smallest task. The food too is pretty mediocre. Since the resort is in the middle of nowhere you have no option but to eat the food available there but it is bland and tasteless. Half of the thingd served at breakfast were raw and uncooked. Very disappointed with the overall experience. Only the ambience is good. Everything else is pathetic.

- Richard (10/5): A wonderful resort hotel in the Western Ghats, go there if you possibly can its so worth it! - The location required effort to get there e.g. a taxi out from Pune, however once there the location was superb by the river. The food was very reasonably priced which we were not expecting for this 5 star hotel and excellent too. It would have been nice to know beforehand that there was no bar on site, which is the policy of the hotel and we didn't find out until we got there, however that didn't take away from the wonderful time we had there. Thank you Mr Matthews for all you did as Manager to make our stay so enjoyable!

- Sebastian (9/5): Wonderful and peaceful stay in a stunning location. - I stayed at the Golden Fields Resort last month to visit my son, who is a student at a nearby college. The staff was absolutely wonderful, the food is amazing and I had a great time. The ground is very lush, it has a beautiful garden and next to the river. Nothing.

The food was excellent, and the service was truly top-notch — the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. The lush greenery around the property added a peaceful, refreshing vibe. It’s also very kid-friendly, which made a big difference for our family. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout our stay. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality getaway!

Facilities include childrens play area, a pier onlooking the river, swimming pool, movie streaming hall and indoor games room. Room service was prompt and readily available. Hot water has timings which is very strange for such a huge property.

- Nicola (9/5): Perfect location for UWC Mahindra. Immaculately clean and helpful staff. - The staff could not be more helpful. They sent a Whats App message prior to arrival to find out our expected time and if there was anything that we needed. The room was large, airy, cool and spacious overlooking the swimming pool (room 105). The shower was powerful and the toiletries pleasant. The location is perfect for visiting UWC Mahindra the college gates are opposite the hotel gates. There were many choices for breakfast english and indian varieties. The cappuccino was lovely. Good WIFI. There was some music playing outside when we went to bed but we couldnt work out where it was coming from (outside of the hotel we think).
