• Janine (10/5): We had a lovely stay in this unique property. I’d highly recommend it. - It was unique, very well done. All the touches you’d think of and more that you wouldn’t. Communication with Kim the host was excellent. She was very helpful and responsive. Everything was great with the property. As we checked out. I was loading the car at 10.04. A gentleman approached informing me that the cleaners had been waiting to get in since 7am. I was surprised as check out was 10am.

• Lorraine (9/5): The photos don’t do the place justice, kim had thought of everything. - Kim had thought of everything, the hot tub was lovely and ready when we arrived, there was towels and shower gel all there ready, the bedding was already on the bed, the kitchen was equipped with everything you could need. We loved the fact it had air con although we didn’t need to use it as there was a lovely breeze through the windows.
• Amanda (9/5): - Lovely little place. I would definitely go back and stay a little longer. The hot tub was great. Beach is 10/15 minutes walk and a couple of pubs in walking distance.

• Amanda (8/5): Fabulous , quirky getaway - The location was perfect for attending my sons passing out parade in altcar training camp, the hideaway was beautiful and quirky which we loved , our host Kim & jack are great … the hot tub was amazing and the street was really quiet so was a really lovely peaceful night away and would definitely come back We weren’t a fan of the bed I found the bed too hard it hurt my hips so only lasted an hour and took myself off to the sofa but this is personal preference as some people love a hard bed and it hasn’t put me off returning again , the room I found a little cold it could benefit from a little heater at this time of year .

• Natalie (10/5): A lovely stay, in a really quirky, clean accommodation - This was a lovely little place. Really loved how it was decorated and it was really clean. The instructions from the owner were very clear and we found it and let ourselves in really easily. It's got everything you could possibly need in it, nice tech and 2 really good size tvs. Kim.answered any questions quickly via WhatsApp. The squirel woods and formby beach aren't accessible at the moment and won't be until 2026. Obviously nothing to do with the owner, but worth noting. It was a shame we weren't allowed to use the hot tub on the morning of departure. When I questioned this the owner stated that it was because of cost. Personally, I think if you are paying for the accommodation until 10am you should be able to use the facilities until 10am.
• Linda (10/5): Lovely quirky accommodation. - Lovely accommodation very quirky. Everything you needed cooker microwave kettle toaster. Bedlinen towels toiletries. Pots pans tableware cups glasses etc. Host was very informative easy instructions to enter the property. Nice outside space with hot tub. Wasn't really a negative but the bathroom was downstairs.

Easy access to property with door codes - Communication from host was exceptional, full instructions given before my stay regarding access to the property, directions and guidelines regarding the rules and how everything worked within the property. I could not find any faults, I really enjoyed our stay, and will be booking again.

Instructions to everything we needed to know down to the last detail. Minutes from the quaint village of Formby and the fabulous sand dunes . 10 out of 10 , a getaway we will cherish forever.

Nothing we didnt like, slightly cold at night even with the heating on but thats the UK for you haha!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by unique and original décor that added a special touch to our stay. Each room was thoughtfully designed, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. One of the highlights was definitely the hot tub! Our daughter absolutely loved splashing around, and it became the perfect spot for family. The setting was serene and relaxing, making it easy for us to unwind. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations. It was a wonderful family-friendly retreat.

• Naomi (10/5): The most relaxing two night stay I've had in a long time with my husband. Just perfect. - Everything was just perfect for me and my husband the whole stay. Was relaxing and a beautiful place and decorated amazingly. We had an issue with the hot tub as it broke in-between the stay which was no one's fault just a simple genuine fault and the hosts were really far away from us on a day outing Conwy and travelled all the way back to us just to replace the hot tub and had it filled with hot water for us to use all within 3 hours and gave us a bottle of prosecco for an apology even though it wasn't their fault! Absolute lovely couple. On arrival they decorated around hot tub with balloons and anniversary banners for us too which was just really kind of them to do too. An amazing stay and would definitely return. I have nothing to fault.
