• Susan (9/5): I would stay there again. - Everything you need is there. Unless you needed the electric blender. There were no attachments lol. There was no walking distance to the river that was accessible because it was all private property.

• Judi (10/5): We would definitely book this again for future vacations - The whole place was amazing. The host had lavender scented oils you could spray on your pillows to relax. The house was very comfy and felt like home. It was great for all of our family. There is a little bbq area in the back as well. There are plenty of coffee shops near by as well.

• Nancy (9/5): Convenient, quiet location for day-trippers. Roomy and comfortable home for a small group. - Despite the property being adjacent to the local main road, it was surprisingly quiet. (We visited in mid-May.) Good location for a variety of day trips (Mesa Verde, Durango, Telluride, Mancos, hiking destinations including the very close by McPhee reservoir overlook trail) Very nice (although pricey) small grocery nearby with a surprisingly good variety of foods (including Asian groceries, organic produce, etc.) Bedding was nice, beds comfortable. Good sized kitchen, dining area, and bedrooms. Pretty new, good quality appliances, Ninja blender, and everything worked as intended. Host/staff were very responsive about to our one request during our stay There were more than enough dishes, cups, etc. to run a full dishwasher load so we didn't have to do dishes after every meal and the dishwasher cleaned well Washer/dryer for guest use (These items are all very minor. We had a very nice stay and would definitely recommend this home to others.) Needs more towel racks and/or hooks. With only one shower/tub, guests could use places to hang all wet towels and washcloths for everyone in the group staying there. The overhead indoor lights were all extremely bright - would benefit from replacement with dimmable ones and dimmer switches. The worn outdoor threshold and door mat didn't give a great first impression, but fortunately the home's interior is much better cared for. Could use lids for the saucepans. I'm sure this is described in the listing, but the home is 1-1/2 bath. It worked for three of us but with the max allowed 8 guests it could be a bit limiting.
