- Angelito (10/5): If you want to stay at a great Waikiki location and place for 2 to 4 people, this is the place. I hope to stay there aga - Location location location!!! Won’t find a location better than this. Close to the Waikiki Beach shopping restaurants bars surfing and the canal walk. Sit on the balcony drinking coffee and watch the sunrise and enjoy a cocktail in the evening. Everything you need to cook if you want. We stayed with our two 13 year old grandchildren and was comfortable for all of us. Definitely would recommend for up to four people. Sometimes the road traffic was loud but really not an issue.
- Desirée (5/5): So much potential but very disappointing accommodations overall - It is close to a lot of tourist attractions in Honolulu. I beleive the front desk persons name was Kayden, they were super nice and accommodating. There was another person that was nice, Jaimie I think his name was. But most of the other days no one was at the front desk. The one way streets and lack of directions made it VERY hard to find the entrance after a 16 hour trip to get to the island. It was difficult to get in contact with the host and then they were sarcastic giving directions! At one point I just pulled over in tears. The parking is in another building on the 5th floor. We arrived and didn't know where the elevators were, I did not want to climb 5 stories with my belongings then go across the street where the parking or building was. THANK GOD we found the elevator! There were ants in the kitchen, I initially didn't pay attention to. We arrived, we put the food down, I went to take a shower and work, when I came back the $60 worth of food from the food trucks around the corner was ruined by ants. When I told them I saw hair on the comforter and in the bathroom, they sent me pictures of a clean home. I told them about the ants and they said don’t leave the food out and blamed it on the island. I was so tired when we arrived and aggravated! We put the new food in the fridge after, but I mean really, that is extreme and it should be addressed as we have traveled to Hawaii in the past and live in a tropical climate. Dust fell from the vents in the bathroom. The building is very old, the inside is decorated ok, but new comforters and towels would go a long way. The noise in the city is overwhelming at night even with everything closed. I felt like I was in downtown Brooklyn, Detroit or Queens. Sirens EVERY NIGHT, loud mufflers, people yelling at all hours. With the acoustics, it felt like we were on the first floor: it was not pleasant. You absolutely need the fans for air circulation. There is no dishwasher but there are dishes and the stove and oven worked so cheers.
