• yusuf (8/5): Great location, spacious, but comes with some challenges of being so central in Florence. - The property is so centrally located. The apartment is on the third floor but also has a lift which is great. The apartment is spacious and well appointed. I arrived late and was very confused why I was asked to collect the keys at a different property where I did not meet anyone. Second, if you have a car, this becomes an issue. The parking garage is a Kilometer away and in a ZTL zone so it will cost you a lot more. Lastly the downside to the central location is that there is a lot of noise by many very drunk youngsters into really early hours of the morning. If you are a light sleeper, you will need ear plugs.

• Alexandra (1/5): Ruined. - Nothing The worst experience. They behaved very badly, especially one lady when I called to inform them that the key had broken in the door. It was not forced. After I insisted that they send someone, they finally did. Two guys came, and one of them struggled for 3 hours trying to open it with a sheet of metal. Leaving that aside, there was a bad smell in the room, the shower head broke instantly, and it was extremely noisy at night. I do not recommend this place at all! We trusted the reviews, and honestly, our stay was ruined.

• Dimitrios (9/5): - Allerbeste Lage im 2. Stock mit Aufzug und direktem Blick auf die ganze (!) Piaza, sehr große Räume, schön renoviert, 2 Bäder, ideal für 4-6 Personen. Nachts teils zu laut durch feiernde Touristen, Fenster dichten leider nicht gut ab. Relativ spartanisch eingerichtet.

Per la cifra che ho pagato, avrei voluto trovare una macchina del caffè e le capsule, poi i riduttori shuko per i phones..poi secondo me va insonorizzata meglio le finestre delle camere che si trovano nella parte opposta rispetto al salotto, perché sotto c'è la movida molto rumorosa fino alle 5 del mattino...poi le luci sul comodino sono touch ed andrebbe scritto un cartellino per farlo sapere.. perché io pensavo che non funzionassero..

• Tracey (9/5): Perfect Location! Makes you feel like a local. Modern convenience with Old World Elegance. Love! - THE VIEW!!!! PERFECT LOCATION!! I will always stay on PdS given the chance. The amount of space was terrific! The washer and dryer?? Perfection. Felt like we actually lived there. The heating system was amazing. NEVER felt cold unlike some of my other accomodations. Fridge was big enough. Kitchen was operational enough for what we needed. They had everything we wanted in a vacation room. And thank heaven for the tiny little elevator!! My bags would have killed me on the stairs. I love the history and architecture of these old palazzos, but I do enjoy the modern conveniences. The two “bedrooms” are separated by sliding doors like farmhouse doors, but much more elegant. It helped separate the 2 snoring parties, but I brought a ‘noise’ machine just to be safe. I always travel earplugs and an eyemask because there is always light. The shutters on the windows kept out most of it from the main bed. The second room has no windows and was perfect for me. It had the ensuite bathroom which was more important for me. The beds are firm like most Italian beds. My frame is used to a plusher mattress, but it was expected. Not a complaint, just noticable. Worth it for the view of Palazzo Vecchio from the beds. The shower head in one bathroom was not connected properly and the head itself was split down the middle. I contacted the host and the wobble was fixed the next day but they never replaced the head. I just removed it and stood under the “water hose” to shower. Get rid of your American expectations on how keys should work. These doors and locks are unique. Yes, you have to turn them three or four times and jiggle the key while pulling on the door, but it's Italy. If you want Boise, then go there. There is renovation going on in the condo overhead. They waited to start work until 8am and worked until 6p with power tools and hammers. We weren’t there during most of that time, but we were not informed that work was going on when we booked. No instruction for the appliances but youtube and my own mechanical knowledge got us through. Even with the work going on and the broken showerhead (oh yea, the safe batteries had died a while ago so it was useless, too), the location and the January price made this a perfect choice for us. We disliked nothing enough to not stay here again. I wouldn’t pay Summer prices, but for January, it was perfect for us.

Molto ampio e luminoso. La sera si sente il rumore in strada, ci vorrebbero i doppi vetri, e sarebbe stato utile uno strofinaccio o dello scottex in cucina.

• Adelina (9/5): Ein schöner Aufenthalt. - Die Lage ist nicht zu übertrumpfen. Ich musste des Öfteren mit dem Vermieter in Kontakt treten. Ich hatte die Schlafcouch bestellt, doch diese war nicht hergerichtet. Auch mussten wir wegen der Mokka nochmals den Vermieter kontaktieren, da diese nicht auf dem induktionsherd funktionierte. Die Heizung war zu hoch gestellt, das Problem konnte nicht gelöst werden. Alles andere wurde gelöst.

• Graciela (1/5): - Lo único que pude comprobar, es la buena ubicación ya que nunca me contestaron, para darne rl avcedo, me deharon tirada en la calle con mi familia sin hospedaje. Me cancelaron la reservación estando afuera del apartamento con mi familia y mi equipaje, tuve que buscar un hospedaje de emergencia, el cual me salio muy caro, no lo recomiendo, falta de seriedad y no respetar el alojamiento pagado. Y tuvieron el descaro de ofrecerme un 10% en mi próxima reservación, obvio que jamás volveré a reservar ese apartamento,, NO se los recomiendo 😡

Dalle foto sembrava appartamento molto più luminoso e grande e con vista sulla piazza della Signoria.invece: 1 Nessuna vista eccezionale, anzi  impalcatura davanti alla finestra. 2 Letto del divano scomodo con avallamento al centro. 3 Durante la notte si sentiva lo scarico del bagno ricaricarsi di continuo. 4 Le pulizie ok ma  in frigo ho trovato cibo evidentemente lasciato da persone che hanno soggiornato prima

Was expecting the view from the pictures on Booking, but I guess they have more than 1 room. Wasn't as spacious as the pictures suggested and overlooking a wall. The double fold out bed is really uncomfortable, and needs a bigger blanket.

The sofa bed was just awful, the property should not be offered for more than 2 people that can sleep in the main bed. Nobody deserves to sleep in that sofa bed.

• Mauricio (4/5): Travelers beware! Not like in the pictures. - The location of the building is excellent. There is no noise from other units. The kitchen is small but functional. The bed is comfortable. The fact that the pictures on the booking.com listing were for a different apartment in the same building, with a different facing, was really disappointing. The apartment is on the opposite side of the building, so there are no views of the Palazzo Vecchio or the Piazza della Signoria from the windows of the apartment. The elevator is probably the smallest I've ever seen in my life, with barely enough room for one person. The light switch for the staircase on the floor we were on did not work. The unit was a lot smaller than the pictures showed, and also looked really old and tired. The furniture was a bit shabby, and the floor was quite slanted.

• Alan (10/5): The perfect October location for a Florence visit. - Location location location – the location is breathtaking – looking out over the piazza towards the Palazzo Vecchio and the Uffizi - everything is so close to walk to – the river, Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo - with restaurants and shopping immediately below and nearby. The kitchen is brand-new and well equipped – we made a small number of teas and coffees and add out the rest of the time. Correspondence was clear and timely. In the height of the tourist season with summer temperatures, it will be a different experience - but early October it was perfect. Minor niggles ….the 10am leaving time (the next group had booked an early check in). Being city centre one has to accept a certain amount of nighttime noise – even with the windows shut - our light sleeper find the loud voices disturbing - but we accepted that was the trade off of having such a central location. We had no need of the heat nor the Aircon so we cannot comment on its existence or usefulness.
• Maximilian (2/5): - 1.5 hour before check-in, I got a phone call from Mamo saying that the apartment is not available, since there is no running water. We got another apartment for the first night which was OK, but clearly not the one that was paid for. Later, it was communicated that there are two apartments, one with square view and another without, and ours was the one without. By looking at the advertisement, I can only say that this listing is a scam since that information isn’t available any place. The apartment, which we finally got the second night was still decent, but it wasn’t close to the one advertised. I’ve checked all the pictures, and maybe 2 out of the many posted pictures are from the “square view” apartment. I don’t know if it’s Hotel.com’s fault (since it is impossible to get contact with them after hand), or Mamo’s, but I advise against this company.

• Tom (10/5): Best Location in Florence! - We have stayed here before and love the spacious superior apartment! The location is unparalleled with an extraordinary view over the Piazza della Signoria! The Mamo team was super responsive when we needed assistance with a shower. The communication piece pre- and during our stay was excellent! Time for a little refresh/paint. The main room can use newer, more comfortable furniture/couches. The key box to retrieve/drop off the keys is very quirky and difficult to open. The lights in the stairwell were sporadic.

The beds were very comfortable, and the apartment was so spacious with high ceilings and plenty of room The only negative was the noise at times coming from a bar at the back of the apartment. However, this didn't spoil the stay.

• Ji hye (10/5): 탁 트인 시뇨리아광장뷰의 아파트. 깨끗하고 넓고 시원함. - 피렌체의 중심 관광지중 하나인 우피치 미술관과 시뇨리아 광장에 있는 숙소입니다. 거실과 메인 침실의 창밖으로 시뇨리아 광장이 바로 내려다보이고, 베키오 다리까지 도보로 5분, 피렌체 대성당까지는 10분이 안걸립니다. 시뇨리아 광장에 바로 붙어있고 창문으로 탁 트인 광장뷰가 보이는것만으로도 관광객으로서는 엄청난 메리트 이지만, 아파트 자체도 깨끗하고 넓습니다. 인테리어도 적당히 예쁘게 되어있고 신경쓴 듯한 흔적이 보입니다. 걸어서 5분 내의 거리에 까르푸 매장이 있습니다. 제가 저녁에 갔을때에는 과일의 품질이 좋지 않았어서 아쉬웠지만 아침에 가면 괜찮지 않을까 싶습니다. 밴을 타고 여행했었는데 발렛 서비스가 제공되는 주차장과 연계가 되어있었고, 이로 인해 ZTL에 차량 번호 등록이 가능했고 사람이 붐비는 시내까지 직원이 운전을 해주는 등 편했습니다.(숙박하는 동안 차가 필요하다면 1시간 전에 차가 필요하다고 전화로 요청하고 찾으러 가야 합니다.(체크아웃 이전 시점에 숙소 앞까지 직원이 차를 끌고오려면 추가 비용 발생됨)) 체크인 정보입력과 추가 요청사항(다이슨 드라이어, 얼리체크인, 주차장 제공 서비스 등)은 모두 온라인 링크에서 이루어져서 직관적이고 간편했습니다. 작지만 엘레베이터가 있고, 각 방에 에어컨이 별도로 설치되어있어서 시원합니다. 건물 입구를 알아보기가 힘들었습니다.(발렛 주차 기사님이 말해줘서 알게됨) 숙소에서 오는 메세지를 자주 확인하지 않는다면 건물로 들어갈 때 애먹을 수도 있습니다. (건물 앞에 도착해서 전화하면 아파트 입구 문을 열어줌) 아파트 크기에 비해 주방이 작은 점이 아쉬웠습니다. 열쇠가 여러개라 헷갈리고, 이탈리아가 대부분 그런것같지만 열쇠로 문여는 방법이 복잡하고 애매합니다. 번호키로 바꾸면 훨씬 효율적일것 같습니다.
• Bruno (9/5): Soggiorno nel centro di Firenze, non vicino al centro ma esattamente al centro. Posto super servito, a 100 metri dagli U - Posizione centralissima. Wi-Fi molto veloce. Non mancava niente anche se la stanza non è particolarmente grande. Il gabinetto ha uno scarico automatico particolarmente rumoroso che scaricava ogni 5 minuti. Forse un malfunzionamento ma un po’ fastidioso alla lunga.

• Hanh (5/5): Passable - It has a door code to get in so it's convenient. The apartment has a washing machine so it's a plus. We experienced a problem with the hot water, we called the facility and they came to fix the problem right away! great customer service! They let us dropped off our luggage earlier before the check in time, so it's convenient. The apartment is right in the central, so restaurants, shopping and every thing are within walking distance. The rental price for the apartment is kind of pricey!

• Baburhan (10/5): Best location ever! - Location, location, location!!! It's unbelievable how central this place is. Spacious, clean and comfortable. You will not find a better location than this in the city. The elevator is a little weird! You have to experience it!

• Alexander (9/5): Very nice place - This is a special place in Florence. The location is so great that you can admire the beauty without leaving your room. The apartment had everything you need. You can additionally order an improved hair dryer (there are regular ones). Very clean. If you get up early, this is the best place, do not look for another. The bedroom windows overlook the courtyard and on weekends there are noisy companies. In the morning, from 6 am, cars come for garbage and it seems that they immediately tamp it down, because it lasts about an hour and is accompanied by a lot of noise. The registration system is complicated, but the manager helps to sort it out quickly.

• Graham (10/5): Historic elite Florence experience at an amazing price - room with a view with a vengeance! - I did not have high expectations ahead of time, but got the surprise of my life - unlock the hundreds of years old thick wooden door and you are presented with the most exceptional apartment (probably about 2000 sq feet, two bedrooms and huge lounge) on second floor. Open the huge wooden shutters and you find yourself overlooking the living art museum that is Piazza della Signoria with all the noise and hubbub happening outside. The apartment had a classic tiled floor, TV, kitchen with washer and dryer, and two bathrooms besides two bedrooms. A memorable stay that could hardly have been more central and absolutely fabulous value for money. Hope to go back one day for a longer stay. Looking out on Florence's noisiest piazza is not for everyone. Getting access was somewhat stressful in that you had to make a phone call to access the place first of all then negotiate a series of keys and locks. Once it was all sorted we quickly got use to it. The apartment is quite austere - again won't suit everyone. If there was one touch I would add it is providing slippers as the marble floor is really cold. Also took a while to work out the showers. The couch was made up as a bed, which was not necessary as there were only two of us. Better we had a couch to sit on this time.

• Mary-anne (5/5): Wonderful location, spacious but noisy suite - The location on the Piazza is enchanting, so much to do watching the people come and go. And right in the midst of galleries etc when venturing out into the busy streets. The suite is large and spacious, and had a lovely new kitchen. With the issues we had, the company responded quickly (but not always helpfully). The noise was dreadful. We expected noise from the Piazza, that wasn’t a problem. But the bedrooms backed onto a side street that had a booming nightclub and endless loud vehicles and people all through the night. It was so bad that we asked to move elsewhere, but the company did not do so. We also had no hot water when we arrived, which led to a plumber in our unit at 9pm. And the suite was not fully cleaned or made up when we arrived.

• Jakub (7/5): Good - Great possition in city center, clean appartment Broken toilet, which flushed itself often and was very noisy and annoying at night, had to plug it off electricity. Operator from renting company tried to help, but the toilet wasn't repaired. Noise from street, windows didn't block anything.

• Anni (4/5): Florence is magical and we loved it. Some small improvements would make it even better. - Location was amazing! right in the middle of the action. We were right on the square (though overlooking the side street) so there was plenty to see and do. We didn't really notice any noise once it was time for sleep. Only about 100m to the Uffizi Gallery and not much further to walk along the river, so wow! Everything was within walking distance and easily navigated. Wandering the streets was easy and there were several really fabulous (and not too $$) restaurants very close by. We travelled in December, so nothing was overcrowded and we could take our time to enjoy. The light/music show at night in the square was an added bonus. The lift was so small that it only fitted suitcases, then you had to race up the stairs to collect bags. Finding the stairway light was tricky, but achieveable once we worked it out; however, the next corridor was almost impossible to unlock, so ended up being left open, and the light bulb in that section was 'out'. The heating didn't work very well, but the hosts responded quickly. We ended up with a pleasant maintenance man visiting several times, and bucket in the kitchen to catch the drips, but at least we were warm. The bed had a bottom sheet, but no top sheet, and the doona was a thin polyester with no cover.
