• Iris (7/5): Good - The apartment layout was nice and the kitchen was well equipped. Was rather dusty, especially the non-table surfaces - bedsheets, hangers, radiators, etc. The main bed was far too soft. The sofa bed mattress was very dirty.

• Alexey (1/5): Cant say anything good for this property and host - Location This is just wow. Lets start that the property owner(or a group of owners) - they will share your ID documents with 3rd/4th party companies without telling you prior to your booking and you will not be refunded if you dont share your ID with them. Property is covered in dust and with visible fixings in the comunal areas on walls and ceilings - looks like not finished refurbishment. Staircase is very dangerous, steep and having edges on the steps that a person could easily trip. No access for disabled at all. Property is also infested with bed bugs and when we tried to report it to the host, he started blaming us for making stories and threatening that he has CCTV of us etc. Staying at this property was a disaster
• Abdulbasit (4/5): Nice host, cleanliness on the bed is a must though, overall disappointed for that price. - The bed looked clear... but on closer inspection it didn't feel clean, we opened the sheets and there was hair and a blotched part. We then decided to sleep over the sheets but then I ended up getting so itchy for the next day or so after sleeping there.

• Elizabeth (8/5): Satisfactory accomodation. No one pushed the boat out here. Pretty basic. Dead flowers on the table outside, looked like - The white tiles on the floor So difficult to get to, all the pavement was being torn up outside, workmen etc, i have a disability and it’s a good job I didn’t have my motorised wheelchair . It was three flights up of a narrow stairwell. Again this was totally unexpected. I have a chronic lung condition use inhalers etc and all i can say is it’s a good job i had friends with me. When we arrived the smell was vile , really strong smell of spices and frying. P.s. this is not a racist statement, i’m from an ethnic minority grouping. Sheets had a weird and funny smell There were flies that bit me, and one bit me on the thigh whilst i was in the bed I had to charge my phone on the kitchen counter which meant it was far WAY WHEN I WANTED TO TURN THE ALARM CLOCK OFF. other than than, i really liked the fact that it was right in the centre of town, but never actually knew that until the end, because the information wasn’t given, so consequently we got a taxi after eating out on St Giles st only to find it was round the corner and the taxi driver happily charge to drive. Us round in a circle
• Tanya (1/5): Disaster what was meant to be an exciting time getting to go away for a few days to be told 2 days before you arrive you - First of all I am using booking.com for YEARS NOW , and I have never given anyone / anyplace a Bad review ever, but I feel I had to say something in this one I gave this property all the lowest points because it was a disaster. Everything was paid for at least 3 weeks we arrived. So 2 days before I was due to check in I received a message from the host after I messaged first questioning when I would receive my refundable security deposit back off £150 after filling out the online check in form, ( no where in the booking does it state you will be charged another £150 for refundable security deposit) Any ways I receive a message from the host around 8am asking me when did I make the booking of the Apartment that he COULD FIND MY BOOKING I informed them that the booking was made exactly 1 year ago lucky I had everything kept screen shots and emails so I could go back and check, the reply was there was a glitch in the system and the apartments was over booked everyone else was informed about the matter but it must have missed me, and the Apartment that I had originally booked WAS DEFINITELY NOT AVAILABLE!! I was on my travels over there at this time on the boat being the British Grand Prix weekend prices everywhere else were sky high. So I needed somewhere to stay. The host told me that they had nothing for me at the moment so offered a refund first (which I should have done) or to try find me a new property in the same building, that it would be the afternoon before he would get back to me. Hours passed so I had no choice only to get booking.com involved this was like 5-6pm as I was texting the host and getting NO REPLYS they informed me that they needed 3 hours for the host to reply before they could do anything further, so 1hr 45mins passed and booking reply to me and said that was booking was still active and that the host had a place for me to stay, the host informed me of this about 2 hours after booking.com informed me. Everything absolutely everything l!!! It was NOT WHAT I HAD BOOKED OR PAID FOR!!! It was a completely different standard as to what I had originally booked to be told there was a glitch in the system and it was over booked and my apartment that I had booked was definitely not available!!!! Why not tell me this when you seen my money go into your account 3 weeks before I was due to check in not 2 days !!

• Daniela (9/5): Great property, great location 👍🏻 would recommend - It was spacious, clean, right in the middle of town centre. It was overall a great experience. Plenty of cutlery, plates etc. Nothing major but a bit inconvenient that the building has no lift. As I have a baby, it would have been difficult to reach the property had I not have my partner with me to help with the bags (the property being on a higher floor).

• Olivia (10/5): Very very good would recommend - The place had a homely feel to it, very beautiful furniture. I would really recommend it to anyone who is looking to stay. Everything was really nice, but the one thing that stood to me was the two single beds that where pushed together to make a double? It was pretty awkward but apart from that the place was really amazing

• Stangroom (6/5): disappointed for £265 I expected better - the location was brilliant!! the decor was nice , the apartment was very clean. The owner was very nice and helpful. The bedding was old and under sheets not great, the quilt was very thin making me feel it was also old and didn’t fit the cover, the towels were also faded and old. As we we’re staying for two nights I would have expected more than 1 toilet roll. unfortunately I didn’t take pictures of these things as I didn’t know I would be asked on this review? so sorry.

• Lee (1/5): Terrible. - Nothing, checked in and checked straight back out. Would not stay here. Directions for the key was wrong, said to collect keys from shipman’s pub, this was not the case. Very dirty property cigarette butt on floor, hippy gas canister on bench. Bed absolute terrible no sprin Front door did not lock meaning anybody can walk in from the street. I paid for 3 nights did not stay here checked out straight away, property will not refund me for first night as supposedly I stayed here, Josh said he was checking the cctv to see if I stayed still not came back to me. I wouldn’t let me dog stay here and I would advise other people not to book this property.
• Emma (10/5): Great location, Clean, Kind host, Stylish apartment. So much more than a bog standard hotel! a hit! - Great communication from the host. Lovely clean apartment. Would definitely use again, so much more warmth than a hotel room. Nervous about where to park, how to enter the front door without calling up other residents. But it all sorted out. Parking wasn’t that far away, and the door was always opened by other residents anyway.
