• Heather (5/5): Some things could be easily corrected. - Great location. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Strong WiFi. Quiet location. Walkable area with easy access to buses, smart rides and main avenues. Minimal supplies in the kitchen. The sponge to wash dishes appeared to be a year old. There was one small rag to wipe the counter or dishes, (whatever you chose), no paper towels. The main gate malfunctioned and took three days to be repaired during which time it could not be locked.

• Fran (10/5): Comfy home - The place was very comfortable. A house with 4 rooms upstairs and the downstairs and yard for everyone 's use. It was quiet when we were there, just 2 other rooms rented. Well equipped kitchen and an area for washing clothes. The room was large ( small bathroom) and I loved the back deck. We will definitely stay again when in Guadalajara. The shower water was difficult to control but not too difficult. That's all, everything else was great.

• Nick (8/5): Very good - The location was in a nice neighbourhood with a lot of great places within a 20min walk away. The room was large and bed was comfortable. Facilities were great, with a massive kitchen to cook your meals. There was a lot of people checking in and out during all hours of the night. This generally wouldn't be an issue, but the keypad access to the doors was very loud and would wake us up. The TV had issues and during the last day the picture did not turn on at all. There was no gym space as they had converted it into offices and seemed like they would rent it out to non-guests or the owners would use the communal areas themselves. Felt more comfortable hanging out in the room instead.

The room was clean and very comfortable, with my own work space. The host, Alex, was very welcoming and kind, as were other guests staying in the complex. I also liked the fact that you could use the washing facilities for free. Nothing.

• Darren (3/5): Unfortunate - On the surface, this place is really nice. It appears to be in a good neighborhood, it's a nicely remodeled historic house. there's a washing machine for laundry, and a nice kitchen and working space. The bed was comfortable, and the in-room desk and smart TV were nice touches. Unfortunately, the property had a break-in during the last night of my stay, and the thief stole some things from the guesthouse, including a nice bike that I had rented. I called the police when I found out that my bike was stolen, and they came right away and tried to contact the owner who said he was in a meeting and couldn't handle the issue. I had to leave to get to my next destination, so I paid the bike rental agency the full amount for the replacement cost for the bike plus the accessories, in the hopes that the property owner would have reimbursed me for the bike. I made the assumption that he had property insurance that covers theft. The property owner did provide the surveillance video which showed the thief come into the house and into a guestroom, and leaving with my bicycle. According to the owner, the theft is Booking.com's fault because the thief was apparently someone who made a bogus room booking with a fake cell phone number, got the electronic key code, and easily broke into the property. Booking.com evidently will not release the info of the fraudulent guest/thief to the property owner. I offered to pay for half of the stolen bike, and have the property owner pay for the other half and he refused. I state all of this because I don't think this property is safe, and I don't appreciate how the owner handled the problem. If it was my property, I would have reimbursed the guest for the stolen property and taken it up with Booking.com or my insurance company and/or the police. As far as the rest of my stay, it was ok, but even if the above event hadn't happened, I probably wouldn't stay here again for the following reasons: The guest room was nice, but there was nowhere to put my clothing i.e. no shelf or dresser. The bathroom was extremely small. I thought there was an exercise room with gym equipment, but it is a small room with a yoga mat and really no significant equipment.
• Ellen (10/5): I enjoyed my stay here. It was perfect. - It was a great location in a quiet residential neighborhood about 2 miles from the center of Guadalajara. The apartment was a small house with common area downstairs: living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen (including coffee and bottled water available at all times), outdoor yard and patio and laundry facilities. Upstairs are 4 nice sized en-suite bedrooms. Entrance to the property, to the house and to each room is key-pad coded. Alejandro was a great host. Friendly and helpful; available if needed.

• Hannah (10/5): Great place for a great price - I've had the pleasure of staying at this place for the fourth time, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! The room was incredibly comfy, spacious, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and industrial style. The room was spotless, and every detail was attended to. The attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards made my stay even more enjoyable. The location is a real gem. Wifi is fast. Great for short and long stays. What's even more impressive is the value for money. Considering the comfort, space, cleanliness, fast wifi, laundry, and the prime location, the price was more than reasonable. It felt like a great deal, and I would choose this place again without hesitation. In summary, if you're looking for a comfy, clean room in a great location, all at an excellent price, look no further. This place exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it. The only thing missing to make it absolutely ideal was a long mirror for that full-length check before stepping out. However, this place is absolutely fantastic; there's truly nothing that could be done to make it better. It's simply a great place.

We had to go to another hotel. The owners righted the situation by offering us another complimentary stay, which we took advantage of. Would.stay here again. Communication with the manager/owner wasn't the greatest. Took a while to reply to text messages. We needed to call for faster response. A couple mis understandings.

• Rachel (10/5): Our go to place for long stays. Peace & comfort - We stayed at Casa Corazon for over a month. A very peaceful & comfortable experience. We felt very at home and the neighbourhood is one of the best you will find in the city. Super central but quiet as well.

The bed was incredibly comfy, tv and there was always hot water. The service was top-notch, our flight was schedule to leave at 2am, they allowed us to leave our suitcases until then. Also having access to a washing machine and a spacious well equipped kitchen was a real plus. The fast wifi throughout the property was a blessing, and the central location made exploring the area so convenient (walking distance from local food, pharmacy and Oxxo) But what truly stood out was the peaceful ambience. Highly recommend!

We stayed for one month so I would highly recommend for longer stays. We especially loved the quiet street but closely located to Providencia, The Americas, Santa Teresita. Close Uber ride to City Market and walking distance to Mid town mall.

The common areas in the house are really good, it has a nice area where you can work and a fully equipped kitchen to prepare your own food and a laundry. Fast internet. Lots of things to do in the neighborhood, safe and walkable area, many restaurants, shops, pharmacies, Starbucks, etc. Having an AC in the room is a huge plus. More cutlery would be appreciated.

My room was fantastic, with a gorgeous patio that I absolutely loved chilling on every single day. It was super peaceful, perfect for getting work done and having meetings. Plus, it was conveniently located near everything, right in the middle, so I never had to pay more than $3 for an Uber. It was seriously amazing! everything was perfect
