• Deborah (10/5): A fabulous break in a stunning house, in a beautiful location. - Greenwood is a stunning house -beautifully furnished and extremely well-equipped. My friends and I were delighted to receive such a warm welcome from Neil and Susanne and “being shown the ropes” was very helpful. We wanted for nothing and looked forward to returning to Greenwood at the end of the day, knowing we could relax in very comfortable and cosy surroundings. The location is excellent-just a short walk into Ballater where we enjoyed some lovely meals at The Fish Shop and Balmoral Arms. Ideally situated for exploring further afield, we visited Braemar, Balmoral and Crathes Castle - all worth taking the time to visit. Although we were keen to explore the area, it was hard to drag ourselves away from the house where you could comfortably while away time in the beautiful garden. There was even the added bonus of a daily visitor to the garden in the form of a red squirrel! Equally, we could imagine sitting around the beautiful log burner on winter days, having enjoyed one of the many local walks. Overall, my friends and I agreed that Greenwood is the best house we have visited, by far, and we would be happy to recommend it whilst hoping to revisit ourselves. There was nothing that could be improved on.
• Jennifer (10/5): Excellent, when can we go back. - Our 3 night stay was amazing! Everything and more was thought of and readily available for our break. The location was perfect, a short walk to town and ideally placed for our dog who was also welcome. ( country walks just minutes away) Everything was on the flat which also suited our elderly parents. There was nothing to dislike. Only having 3 days, could easily stay longer.
• Campbell (10/5): Superb property - We had a fantastic stay at stunning Greenwood, the property was superb, exceptionally clean and so well equipped with everything you could possibly need and everything of top quality. Furniture and decoration was really stunning and the beds were super comfy. Greenwood was perfect for our family get together. We loved everything about it and hope to return.

• Fiona (10/5): Outstanding! - This property is indeed “stunning” The decor and soft furnishings are beautiful and stylish, the log burner was a wonderful addition and very easy to use. The house is very well equipped and there are so many extra thoughtful touches throughout the house, the owners have thought of everything! We were lucky enough to have a lovely sunny day and could make the most of the garden sitting areas both front and back.

The enclosed garden was perfect for our two dogs as was the large utility room and porch for letting them sleep at night. We were welcomed by the hosts who had the log burner on for our arrival which made the house so cosy. The photos and description simply don't do this property justice, it well exceeded all of our expectations. There are four bedrooms, two with ensuite and a further bathroom. The beds were so comfy and rooms are spacious. The hosts have great attention to detail and the rooms are all well equipped with extra blankets, toiletries and the like. Fantastic family home with easy access into the village and walks. We will definitely return! Nothing, everything was excellent!

Very well positioned to explore the countryside. The fit out of the property is extremely high quality with lovely furniture and very well equipped.
