• Ayoub (10/5): Beautiful Lucca, lots to do and see. - The location was just inside the Elisa entrance, short 5 minute walk to the wall. Lovely bakeries right across the street. Also easy access to promenade for walkers/runners. The building itself is beautiful and it shows how much time and effort has gone into the renovations. The ambience inside is relaxing and soothing, many rooms have great views. Whoever the interior designer was should be applauded. Our host Tobias was attentive and accommodating. Highly highly recommend this property. The bed linens were luxurious and thoughtfully curated. So impressed will be shopping the brand when I get home. All was good no negatives, interestingly the owner also asked what he could improve. Very sincere about his business.

• Mary Jane (10/5): Very comfortable, quiet and wonderful place to stay inside the walls of Lucca. - Tobias was a wonderful host/manager and promptly addressed all requests. The Palazzo was a beautiful well appointed boutique AirB&B. Very quiet near the wall surrounding Lucca & minutes from great dining & shopping. The rooms were pristine & cleaned daily. The kitchenette was spacious and offered both a coffee & espresso maker, as well as water & complimentary bottle of proseco. The host graciously invited us to listen to a private concert overlooking the gardens from the dining room, serving proseco and light snacks. Would highly recommend staying at Palazzo Froussard & definitely will return.

• Paul (8/5): Good quality, very quiet accommodation in reasonable location. - The accommodation was to a good standard, although we had the attic room which was based on three levels and only had small windows. Nonetheless, the room was very spacious and comfortable. The location is pretty good, just inside the City wall; within 30 secs you can be on the wall pathway. It is 10-15 min leisurely walk to the centre of town, but there are some good breakfast and evening eating places very nearby. Very quiet. We were met by Tobias when we arrived, but after that we never saw him, or anyone else (inc. guests) in the 3 days we stayed. Although breakfast is listed as an option, when we enquired on arrival we were advised that using the nearby patisserie’s was better. We could see that the breakfast lounge was not set up each day we were there. Nonetheless, the local pastries and coffee were really nice!!

• Patricio (1/5): I do not recommend spending 250 euros for what I consider a 50 euros establishment - There’s not much to like about the property. Fancy on the surface but in the end it’s bellow average First of all the bed sheet weren’t ironed. Secondly the room layout and distribution is super uncomfortable with narrow and steep stairs to enter the room and also some steps inside to enter the bathroom. But the worst part for me is to ask for the receipt for more than one week. They always say they are sending it but they don’t.

It was comfortable and the decor beautifully finished. I loved the windows overlooking the garden and appreciated the inclusion of fly screens to protect from mosquitos entering the apartment. Tobias was an incredible host, attentive and helpful and helps make the stay excellent. I couldn’t find any fault with my stay.

The Palazzo sits inside the city walls, with convenient parking and a few hundred metres walk to the old town, it was wonderful stay and we were sorry to leave. nothing

This made it extremely convenient to rent a bike and pedal around the walls a few times - a definite highlight of the trip! The B&B is away from the busiest areas of town, which makes it quieter and a more authentic experience. Tobias was a wonderful host and made several welcome dining recommendations. Bar Elisa for coffee and a pastry is a must do!

The rooms are modern and the location is perfect right in the Lucca wall. Parking close by is safe and secure. Wish I would have stayed longer. Nothing !!!

• Victoria (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely enchanting stay at Lucca, Italy's gem! Our B&B hosted by the delightful Tobias, was nothing short of magical. Nestled within the historic walls, the location couldn't have been more perfect – steps away from charming restaurants and shops. Tobias helped us with getting taxis and restaurant recommendations. Plus, the convenience of an electronic bike shop nearby made exploring a breeze. The room itself was straight out of a fairytale, boasting modern conveniences and breathtaking views of the beautiful gardens. Every moment felt like a dream. Highly recommend this slice of paradise!
• Majella (10/5): I wish we had a longer stay in this truly elegant amd special property! - This is a stunning property; a beautifully restored palace with incredible attention to detail both in its restoration and interior design. It is in a perfect location, 10 mins walk from Lucca’s centre and right next to the wall of the city where one can walk the perimeter and see the city from above. Our host Tobias was always available if needed and was there to welcome us, and explain everything to us on our arrival. His friendliness, and knowledge of the area certainly added to our fabulous Lucca experience! We really felt we were somewhere special while staying here. We will return soon! Nothing

• Sam (10/5): A gem of a property within the walls of historic Lucca - A beautiful property within the walls of Lucca … perfectly situated to explore this beautiful Tuscan gem Palazzo Froussard has been lovingly restored by the family to an exceptionally high standard with so many unique touches … signature fragrances for each room, beautiful decor, charming artwork - some by the family themselves - each room with its own personality There is absolutely nothing to dislike … no-one could ever be disappointed at picking this beautiful spot!
