• Mari (3/5): Not bad but needs to be updated - Ubicacion bien, vista espectacular. Not clean, it needs love and attention. A fresh bit of paint and a thorough cleaning would make a great difference. Shower is so low you can’t stand under it (175cm). Pool is not usable, not enough water and the bit of water in there is dirty.

• Jorge (10/5): Finde de MotosGP - Un encanto de casa todo al detalle reluciente la mujer de limpieza super encantadora nos explico donde había supermercado para comprar y donde ir aparcar la moto ya que fuimos para el finde de motos GP Yolanda super amable y servicial nos dejo unos detallazos en el apartamento que no nos esperabamos si os alojais ya sabreis lo que sera jeje la recomiendo al 120% si vuelvo a necesitar de alojarme en Arcos de la Frontera no dudare en reservar de nuevo con ella Nada todo estaba de 100

• Chenoa (10/5): Paz absoluta, vistas de infarto y un trato de diez - Si estás pensando en ir a Arcos de la Frontera, no busques más: el Apartamento 1 de Casa Abades es un acierto seguro. Hemos estado de maravilla y gran parte de la culpa la tiene Yolanda, la propietaria. Es un encanto y estuvo súper atenta a todo; se nota muchísimo cuando alguien mima su negocio y se preocupa por sus huéspedes. ¡Incluso tuvo el detallazo de dejarnos una botella de Barbadillo de bienvenida! El apartamento es una joya. Lo que más nos voló la cabeza fueron las vistas desde la terraza, son de esas que te dejan sin palabras y que no querrás dejar de fotografiar. Además, cuenta con absolutamente todas las comodidades que puedas necesitar, todo moderno y limpísimo. Otro punto clave es el confort: aunque fuera hacía un frío importante, la calefacción de la casa y de las habitaciones es una maravilla, estuvimos siempre a una temperatura perfecta. Y lo mejor para los que buscan relax es lo increíblemente silencioso y tranquilo que es el lugar; no se oye ni un ruido, así que el descanso está garantizado. De verdad, si queréis una experiencia auténtica, cómoda y con un trato humano de diez, id a Casa Abades. ¡Gracias por todo, Yolanda! Volveremos seguro.

• jean-françois (10/5): - L'accueil de Yolanda est très efficace. Nous la remercions de sa gentillesse. L'appartement est parfait lors des grosses chaleurs, car la maison est bien fraîche. La terrasse est splendide, très agréable. L'appartement est idéalement situé, au sommet d'arcos. C'est idéal pour profiter de la vieille ville.

• Crossley (2/5): Be warned - The view from the terrace was 5 star The accommodation was 1 star. The lounge area was too small for 4 people, and the settee throw and cushions were grubby. The floor mats throughout the apartment were filthy. The headboard in one bedroom was hessian and was full of dust. The whole apartment felt grubby. The tenant in the ground floor flat was a heavy smoker, everyday the stairwell was filled with stale smoke. One of our party had a very bad asthma attack brought on by the smoke. We did complain about it but was told by the owner it was difficult to enforce the rules. The terrace had been left in a mess but was cleaned up quickly by the cleaning lady who we felt came up from the bottom apartment, as she was there as soon as the complaint was sent. The plunge pool had algae in the bottom, the table we had to washed as it had stale food marks and dirt on it. The bbq was left with cigarette butts in it. It is impossible to get close to the apartment with a car, which we knew about, but we weren't made aware of how steep the hills were. I informed the owner we were retired people and found it difficult to walk far, and that we were in Arcos for a wedding. The actual instructions on how to find the apartment were not sent until we arrived in Andalusia. I think it should have a warning in the location description that the apartment is not suitable for people who have difficulty walking and have respiratory problems. Casa Abades could be a wonderful little apartment if it was given a good clean-up and had a few more home comforts. Plus getting the electrics fixed, several of the lights flickered some of them didnt work, the tap in the shower room needed fixing as it was loose, we did tighten it up but it was coming loose by the end of our stay, the shower riser was hanging on with one screw. There was a tiny amount of washing up liquid and no cleaning materials. There were two used clothes and 1 tea towel. The bath towels were old and smelt of must.

El detalle de la botella de vino nos encantó y el detalle de la televisión con las plataformas de Netflix etc tb nos enamoró La atención fue increíble y muy agradecida por toda la ayuda que recibimos al llegar durante y n la despedida... Lo único que podría decir y no es cosa de ellos es que no podíamos subir el coche hasta el apartamento por las calles estrechas y sin aparcamiento pero teníamos un bus gratis que nos subía y nos bajaba y taxi también barato... No vi la ubicación al reservarlo pero el pueblo es espectacular

• Núria (10/5): Unas vacaciones magnificas - El apartamento esta de lujo. Situado en pleno casco antiguo de la ciudad de Arcos, una ciudad increible. Dispone de todo lo necesario: utensilios para cocinar, nevera, horno, microondas, tostadora, cafetera.... El baño super grande y limpio, aire acondicionado y ventiladores de techo. Aa y la piscinita arriba que da vida! Yolanda y Ricky super amables y encantadores desde el primer momento. Nos vinieron a recoger a la entrada del pueblo y nos acercaron al apartamento con las maletas para que no las cargaramos hasta ahi, ya que el casco antiguo es de dificil acceso en coche. Pasamos una semanita magnifica! Si tuviera que decir algo diria el acceso y parquing, ya que como somos dos personas que nos gusta hacer muchas cosas no paramos de entrar y salir del apartamento para visitar y al estar en pleno casco antiguo y no hay donde dejar el coche nos pegabamos unas buenas pateadas cada dia, pero bueno, todo sea eso

• Lene28 (7/5): Charmante Stadtwohnung, jedoch mit einigen Hindernissen und Optimierungen notwendig. - Der Ausblick vom Balkon über die süße kleine Stadt war traumhaft. Das Design der Einrichtung war perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt und hat Charm versprüht. Betten waren bequem. Leider sind einige Sachen verbesserunswürdig: Duscharmatur sowie Wasserhahn waren locker und dadurch umständlich bedienbar, Pool_Terasse waren nicht ordentlich gereinigt, Küche zum Kochen nur spärlich bestückt, Licht in kleiner Umkleidenische ging nicht. Die Wohnung ist nur durch die Nutzung eines öffentlichen Kleinbus durch die engen Gassen dort erreichbar (darauf muss man sich zeitlich einstellen)-es wurden leider auch keine ausführlichen Zeichnungen von Haltestellen/Parkplätzen/Angaben Fahrten Uhrzeiten vom Vermieter zur Verfügung gestellt, sodass die ganze Informationseinholung selber stattfinden musste und dies auch ziemlich schwierig durch die Sprachbarriere war.
• Agustín (10/5): Escapada en familia - El apartamento es fantástico, no le falta ningún detalle. Aunque lo mejor, sin ninguna duda, es la terraza. Es una gozada empezar el día ahí con un café. Nada, todo estuvo genial.
• Maribel (5/5): - Ubicación; estás a 8 minutos de los restaurantes,bares… el centro histórico. Decoración; muy chula, no falta nada esencial y es muy practica. Aunque , a veces te sientes encerrada (a mi eso por ejemplo me agobia). Terraza; espectacular vistas, barbacoa, tumbonas…. Todo perfecto pero….solo si la puedes disfrutar… *El acceso a la terraza desde la casita de abajo debido a las escaleras estrechas e incómodas si vas cargada de cosas. Una vez arriba todo genial, no falta un detalle ( utensilios de la barbacoa, menaje ,frigorífico para conservar las cosas sin tener que bajar ) *Compartir la terraza. Creo que la casa está perfecta para un grupo de amigos (2 parejas en la casa de arriba y 1 pareja en la de abajo) Y no tanto para una pareja que busque tranquilidad. En nuestro caso fue así, y resulta incómodo y te obliga a renunciar al espacio de la terraza si ya está ocupada, ya que solo hay una barbacoa, 1 mesa de 6 personas, 2 tumbonas …. Si NO os conocéis, el espacio se queda muyyyy pequeño. Nosotros elegimos ABADES pensando que el acceso a la terraza era en una misma planta , que íbamos a poder acceder cómodamente , desayunar ,ect… pero no es así , sobretodo desde la casita de abajo. Por eso, en nuestro caso , fue algo decepcionante, no por la casa en si, sino por la falta de información en la descripción de los “detalles” que hacen que puedas elegir la mejor opción en base a los criterios de cada uno y no llevarte sorpresas.
• Marta (6/5): Worthy only for 1 or max 2 nights, and in the summer. - Spacious bathroom, heating was working, good coffee from fancy coffee machine, a lot of streaming services in the TV, apartment newly renovated, 360 view terrace. Ok to stay for a night or max 2, and only in the summer: the strong reason we booked the stay was for the terrace, but in late march and especially if it rains it is unusable (no cover deck or protection from the wind). Then what you end up with is living in a basement: few very small windows, very little natural light, on the ground floor, no view or open area. It might be ok during the hot summer months but in late march it was not worthy, it in fact felt very humid. Also, the floor and the sofa looked like they have missed some rounds of vacuum cleaning: all our socks bottom ended up being full of dust and really dirty unless we were walking indoors with our shoes on. Also the comms with the host felt a bot dry and mostly template messages for check in and key codes.

• Barbara (10/5): Beautiful apartment with lovely rooftop terrace made our visit!! - Very comfortable, nicely decorated & furnished. Great to have espresso machine , coffee and basic cooking additions (salt, pepper, sugar). Also lovely bottle of wine. Floor was a little gritty and hot tub bottom could have been cleaner. To be fair though, there is construction going on across the street so lots of dust is flying around.
• Claire (1/5): Worst holiday ever - Nothing to like when you feel so disappointed and receive such poor customer care. Please note we visited at the end of June and I have waited to place this review to see if either the owner or booking.com would offer some fair compensation - they have not. Communication from both parties was exceptionally poor, very delayed or non-existent. Neither seemed to care that our experience was incredibly bad. - Pool is not as described on booking.com, it only has about 30cm depth of water, it is VERY small in size and is dangerous as there are no barriers around the pool so if you were to trip or slip you would fall 6m to the street below. - The owner did not disclose, until one hour before we arrived that the parking is 20 min from the property and you cannot get near to the property with a car to drop things off. - It was 40 degrees and the cold Aircon did not work at all - We found cockroaches on the roof terrace - One of the pool towels had what looked like vomit on it - When approached with our concerns within our first hour of arrival around 1730 the owner disregarded us and told us we must take up our complaints with Booking.com. We did and did not receive a response until 8pm and were told that if we left immediately we would get a full refund...we were a long way from our home town with 2 tired children and no alternative accommodation, so this was not possible. We said that we would leave the following day and that a 3 day, rather than 4 day, refund would be acceptable. Both booking.com and the owner after this point provided the most horrendous customer service I have EVER experienced. I spent many hours emailing different people explaining the same issues over and over again. In the end the best compensation that came out of it was a 25€ voucher from Booking.com which quite frankly was an insult and a joke - we rebooked another apartment through Airbnb and received excellent customer care from both the site and the hosts of the property. It will be an extremely long time before I use Booking.com again, if ever at all.

• Annmarie (10/5): Awesome find! Stunning views! Lots of extras - The view from the terrace was awesome! We have your own mirador. They had so many nice touches that so many places we stayed at did not. They have wine and glasses in the fridge chilled , they had robes, his and hers. They had juice boxes in fridge, they had an expresso machine and coffee grounds to make it. The had the pool on the terrace for hot days or just the sound of the water running into the pool was nice. The terrace had great lighting to hang out at night it was just enchanting. Pillows in the lounge area on the terrace. It was all so awesome!!!!!! The apartment 1 is dark, but the terrace made up for that. The people that booked the apartment above were quite noisy late at night.

• Jared (10/5): A beautiful country retreat in the picturesque Arcos de la Frontera - The property was located in the old part of town (El historic casco viejo) and next to el mirador Abades. Simply a beautiful well kept old town house with beautiful views across Arcos de la Frontera. The owners were lovely and inviting explaining the history of the town and the property itself. A must visit.
