Guest Reviews

- Hall (8/5): Lovely two day stay we went to a concert at the local theatre and wandered around the Okd Town, lovely place to visit fo - The apartment was bright and spacious with lovely views across to the beach. The location was excellent within easy walking distance of everything from the Old Town, pier and lovely independent shops and coffee houses. We had a couple of issues on arrival but these were sorted out immediately with the owners. Unfortunately the outside of Pelham Crescent is quite run down and neglected, this is a sign of the times I believe, the history of the crescent is fascinating and in its day was obviously something very special. Shame that the council cant keep it clean, tidy and free from weeds , it is such beautiful architecture!
- AGNIESZKA (10/5): - Everything was perfect. Super friendly cleaner , amazing host , location close to the beach, shops . Nothing
- Alexandra (10/5): - Clean and tidy, spacious, lovely views and so close to everything
- Janet (10/5): Sea views - Very spacious living area with sea views and good central Hastings location close to the Old Town Nothing
- Rose (10/5): Highly recommended - Clean and tidy. Great communication regarding check in. Sea views were amazing

- Lisa (10/5): Exactly what we needed. - Lovely apartment. Huge living room. Kitchen had all you needed with a few little extras, tea, coffee, sugar.
Comfy bed. Great view. Convenient location for Old and new town. Parking is expensive. But we knew this anyway. Not the hosts fault at all.
- Johanna (10/5): - The place was very comfortable homey and clean. The host was very accommodating. Really loved my stay.
- Sabrine (7/5): - Very spacious apartment.
Cooking ustensils for short stay.
Clean
Decent heaters
Walking distance to train station Difficult to reach kitchen window.

- Patrick (10/5): - Excellent location in Hastings and lovely view of the sea from front room window. The flat has a lot of space and is very comfortable
- Vaineta (9/5): - Excellent location and very easy parking. Property itself is a mishmash of luxury and run down Hastings. Would we go back?- yes!!!
- Maya (10/5): - Lovely flat very comfy and the view was to die for dident want to leave
- Stephen (8/5): Great location with fabulous views out to sea. - Excellent location Lobby area needed a clean
- Jonathan (3/5): Nice flat, but left early due to neighbours! - Lovely views, large flat. Could do with updating - curtains hanging off rail was a little strange not to fix that. Had to cut our stay short as neighbours above were shouting, arguing, was told there is only 2 people staying there, but sounded like 4 or 5. Dragging chairs and banging constantly. So a two night get away turned into a one night drama!!
- Laura (8/5): Great, comfortable flat in extremely central location - Fantastic lounge, comfortable beds, nice bathroom, effective radiators, and good, central location. Nothing to do with the flat itself, but other people in the building - which looked to consist mainly of holiday rentals - would persistently leave the front door open. That was a little disconcerting. The lounge was beautiful but we could have done with an extra lamp to make reading more comfortable.
- Symons (4/5): Comfortable but lacking in finesse and the little extras that give joy to our daily lives. - I was aware of the location before my stay. Excellent position on the south side. The broken taped up window catch, plus the cracked pain of glass. I had to contact the housekeeper about this. I was only able to watch sky TV (internet only). No tableware or coasters to enhance my in-house meals, and a flower vase would have been most welcome. I visited the local shop for these.
- Jonathan (7/5): Hastings short stay - The apartment (especially the main living room) was very nice. It was very comfortable and well equipped. It's well positioned for both the old town (very nice), beach and main shopping area (which, like most town centres, has unfortunately gone downhill) The building in general is a bit tatty and outside we had to pick our way through cars and work vans blocking the way. The property in the middle of the crescent is currently boarded up and had people loitering and drinking outside it. They didn't cause us any trouble though.
- Sue (8/5): Very enjoyable short stay in Hastings - First floor flat was spaceous and near to Old Town and Town Centre with a lovely view from the window Noisy motorbikes in car park opposite on evenings with good weather
- Adrian (7/5): - Spacious apartment with great views Parking on a Sunday afternoon (very busy) was difficult and time consuming.
- sheran (8/5): - The front room was amazing, lovely sea views, and very comfortable
- Imogen (10/5): Dreamy! - Really gorgeous space, perfect location. Loved the massive living room and how comfortable the sofas are (often an afterthought in holiday properties but these were lovely!). Period features were gorgeous and we felt very at home. Was so wonderful to roll out of bed and be in the sea in less than 5 minutes! Everything was great. We needed some extra pillows and a fan, and these were provided really quickly so absolutely no complaints!
- FritschKosmider (9/5): - Breakfast not part of the deal - DIY
Location close to beach & attractions
- Tom (6/5): - Good location. Great view.
- Georgina (9/5): Lovely flat, well-kept, great location. - Incredible location, right in the Old Town. Beautiful flat with amazing views of the sea. Very clean. Very comfy bed and pillows. Well equipped kitchen. Easy to contact housekeeping when we needed more towels. Really great value for money - would definitely book again.
- Mark (8/5): Panoramic views in comfort. - Good facilities, basic goods left for use.
Clean and tidy,very comfortable furniture.
Nice view. Shower didn't drain very well.
Couldn't have front room window open when windy as it rattled and shaked too much.
Wind noise is a problem in flat. ,
- Laura (8/5): Good location, cool living room - The massive living room is the selling point of this place and we had a lovely stay. It was very clean and communication was good. Fantastic views of the sea :) The exterior of the street is very run down, it’s such a shame - wish it could be restored to its former glory! There were pigeons roosting outside the bedroom so our sleep was pretty interrupted.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zhanna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (9/5): Superb - Property was very clean and amazing living room with great sea view
- Janet (7/5): Good - The sea view Noisy upstairs neighbours. Access to flat a little steep. Maybe a mobility warning needed.
- Janet (10/5): Lovely flat with a sea view. - Spacious, high ceilinged flat with some lovely period details. Great central location with panoramic sea view from the bay window.
- Jess (10/5): Comfortable flat for 2, very close to all Hastings has to offer! - Location was amazing, parking was easy across the road. Flat was comfortable, bed was comfortable. It was very quiet during the night. No hand-soap was provided in the bathroom or kitchen, not a massive issue.
- Mandy (9/5): Superb - The location is very good - close to the shopping centre and old town with a view of the sea.
we requested a nonslip mat for the bath and a microwave and these were provided quickly. It would have been good if the microwave was there when we arrived.
- Rebecca (10/5): great place to unwind and enjoy Hastings - Huge living room overlooking the sea. Lovely sunset views over the pier. Great location between new and the old town
- Jo (5/5): Great location - The view and location Crockery was all dirty, fridge wouldn’t close and was frosted over I had to chop off ice bergs. The shower was not adequate, either very hot or very cold with very low pressure. No hot water in kitchen. Generally needed a good clean and dust
- Anne-marie (9/5): Spacious but cosy with great views - Lovely aspect and very comfortable Nothing comes to mind
- Paula (9/5): Superb -
- Nadia (10/5): Exceptional - The flat is amazing, very clean, had everything we needed. Great view and very well located. Definitely recommended.
- Les (8/5): Great view - All good. There was no microwave initially, but solved by phone call and carrying it up two flights of stairs from the basement. Very good one it was too. Switching on the radiators was a bit of a palaver. A wonderful spot with a brilliant view from the front room. Would definitely come back. No complaints.
- Ann (9/5): A spacious apartment with a stunning view and opportunities to walk the promenade or the east and west cliffs. - Comfortable apartment close to the centre of town with wonderful views to the water.
The comfort of having a washing machine was great after travelling for a month of hand washing.
Close transport connections. ? Being Picky- no hairdryer or clothes drying rack
- Gerald (8/5): Enjoyable - would have been 10/10 if the above items had been fixed. - The great view from the living room. The view from the window would have been much better if the windows had been clean.
Washing and shaving in the morning would have been much easier if there had been a plug in the bathroom sink.
- Michelle (7/5): Good - Handy for railway station and buses and sea view. Pelham crescent the whole street was falling to pieces outside, scruffy pavements, dirty windows, paintwork peeling not a good first impression. Once inside flat is perfectly nice for a short stay. Although inside hallway needed a good hoover and smelt of weed. The flat didnt have a microwave as was stated also no can opener or a hairdryer.
- Francis99 (8/5): Great seafront apartment - The location is great. Right opposite the beach and the parking lot. It is very close to the old town and very convenient for shops, pubs, and the sea front. The sitting room looks straight out to the sea. We slept well The terrace of houses is slightly run down, though the apartment interior is great and there appears to be some renovation underway. A microwave and hair dryer would have been useful.
- Sara (5/5): Too expensive for what you get. A bit grim. - The location was good Its a really sad flat, every room apart from the living room is quite grimey and dated. There was dried up coffee remains in the coffee pot that were unusable, there were teabags and sugar but no milk. The pictures showed a proper coffee set up so I was really disappointed. One tea towel was provided but it was completely un absorbent, there was a cluster of empty cleaning products bottles under the sink. The bathroom had left over shampoo and conditioner bottles (presumably from past guests?) and no soap! The towels were all old and mismatching.
The place just felt kinda gross and unwelcoming, not at all the quality I expected for the price we paid.
- Nadiia (8/5): Very good -
- Martin (9/5): Superb - Perfect location , quiet and great view.
- Allum (6/5): Fair place great location - The view was amazing and the living room was huge and comfortable, the location was great for all the things we wanted to do. There was a strong smell of cannabis as soon as you walk into the building. The flat seemed clean enough however we did find a moldy oven glove in the washing machine and empty toilet roll holder. There isn't enough pillows on the bed.
- Leah (8/5): Will definitely be coming again, the host was the best host made sure we had everything, quick at responding clear instr - Everything was at your front door step didn’t have to drive once. The ocean view beautiful. The the flood lights coming from the car park across the road at night blocked the view of the sea, maybe some curtains would be great in the living room or some sort of netting to privacy
- Piper (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful flat with lovely view Nothing
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (9/5): Prime location with a wow factor in the living room - Amazing view. Very spacious light and airy living room. Comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen No curtains on the living room but it didnt spoil our stay at all
- George (7/5): We really had a lovely time. But found it hard getting up the hill. Charlotte was very helpful. - Flat. Very nicely situated. Shops close by. Parking across the road. Might be harder to get a space in the summer. Steep walk to street door up hill. Not suitable for disabled or trouble walking.
- Miranda (10/5): Exceptional -
