Guest Reviews
- Peter (9/5): Quaint and quiet apartment - The Jailhouse apartment was a comfortable place for our family of six. We really appreciated all the little extra touches the owners did in the home. There was a chalkboard wall in the kitchen welcoming our family with suggestions of places to try for dinner, along with the wifi and other information we may have wanted or needed. The home was a nice little oasis tucked away next to the old jailhouse. We had trouble finding the apartment at first, but eventually we did and it was a comfortable place to stay the night. We walked to the castle, but it was closed by the time we go there, so we wandered around exploring a little bit. Overall a very nice and quiet apartment. The directions were a little bit confusing at first and unfortunately none of the restaurants that were recommended were open
- Yvonne (10/5): 5 star venue in the middle of historic Stirling. - Lots of character, historic outside beautifully classic contemporary inside. Brilliant comms from the host. A 5star apartment. Liked everything though folk with limited mobility would find the stairs challenging.
- Gregory (10/5): Beautiful apartment 😍 - The apartment was beautiful and welcoming. Very roomy. The WiFi wasnt the best I think with it being an older building and thick brick walls.
Also the stairs are quite narrow and loop round, so not idea if u have younger children and alot of luggage to carry up and down.
Also dont forgot to close the door for the entrance of the main street! The neighbours arent very understanding if you forget.
- Massimiliano (10/5): - casa perfetta, host molto gentile
- Ian (10/5): -
- Heather (10/5): -
- daniel itzhak (10/5): - Everything The master thermostat is hard to fine. Should be labeled.
Minor problem to a perfect vacation!
- Erin (10/5): We had a fantastic time in Stirling in the best accommodation we could wish for! - Beautiful building, lovely furnishings, very comfortable beds, stocked with everything you could wish for including supplies such as eggs, milk and wine. Great communication with such a lovely host. Loved our stay here! Nothing, everything was wonderful
- Catriona (10/5): We are already looking forward to a return visit at some point next year. - Lovely decor, warm, well-equipped and very comfortable beds with lovely soft sheets. Very good location and parking was available. Loved the Christmas tree and fireplace decoration in the living room. I am a very light sleeper and as the windows are single glazed, unfortunately the noise from cars on the cobbles outside disturbed me but the bedroom at the back of the property would have been quiet.
- Diana (10/5): This was a wonderful place to stay. A great central place to arrange a meet up with my son and family ,Stirling has ever - The old jail house is right near Stirling castle perfect position for us. , the apartment is beautiful , comfortable and well equipped. The host left a lovely range of breakfast, a lovely welcome note and lots of suggestions on things to do. Parking was free.My 84 year old father had the best night sleep he has had for years he told me. Wonderful stay. We loved all the property offered. This is a historic building with lovely spiral stone staircase to the property, no lift , just to make anyone who would struggle with stairs. This was not an issue for us.
- Jason Sutherland (10/5): - Excellent location and warm, cosy and clean. Great facilities. Felt welcomed and nice touches by the host. I would recommend as a super location for a visit to Stirling.
- Lisa (10/5): Beautiful flat - clean, cosy, good amenities - Lovely flat - beautifully decorated, clean, warm, good amenities. Nothing
- Janice (10/5): Fabulous - would definitely recommend & hopefully come & stay again -
- Gareth (10/5): - Exceptional, highly recommended.
- Judy (10/5): -
- Jean (9/5): Superb - The apartment was exceptionally well catered. Very clean and comfortable. Well positioned to visit the castle. The stairs are a bit of a climb for the older person and it could of done with a handrail on the second flight.
- Angela (10/5): Fabulous apartment - Beautiful apartment. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Very well equipped with lovely touches! Fab location too. Wonderful host Daniel. He even included a bottle of fizz in the welcome pack for my birthday which was very much appreciated! The booking.com description misled me to think there were 2 bathrooms when I booked which we would have preferred. However this was not the host’s fault and it wouldn’t stop us booking again.
- Sian (10/5): Exceptional - We loved our stay here. The apartment was decorated so beautifully, very clean and comfortable. Brilliant location.
- Eva (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alison (10/5): A simply stunning apartment. - Wow! What a stunning apartment. It "Exceeded Expectations" in comfort and tasteful decor and felt very luxurious. There were personal touches, too such as milk, eggs, and cereal, and a bottle of prosecco for my daughter's birthday, which meant a lot. Instructions for parking and gaining access were very clear, and there were suggestions given for places to eat. It was a shame we only stayed one night but we would thoroughly recommend this apartment.
- Mary (10/5): WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE - EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING Needs a handrail on second part of staircase
- Kathryn (10/5): Aside from the multiple staircases, it was worth the effort for what greeted us - amazing property - Everything about this property ticks the boxes! And the extra touches by the host (like the fresh flowers!) just make it feel like a home away from home For us, nothing, it was amazing
- Michael (10/5): Great location and a beautifully equipped property. - The property was in a great location and beautifully furnished and equipped to a high standard. Not so much didn’t like, but you need to be aware that you’ll need to get your luggage up to a second floor. Beyond needing to be reasonably fit, you’ll love it.
- Heather (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was beautifully decorated and furnished. It was immaculate. Our daughter adored the Harry Potter themed bedroom, too. Very picturesque location as well. Thank you for the early check-in.
- Mcclelland (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mike (10/5): We felt like we had struck gold with this fabulous house, it has everything you would need. - Everything about this house is superb, down to the location next to the castle the beautiful furnishings , the comfortable beds with soft bedlinen, the views from the sitting room and bedrooms and accessibility to restaurants and bars. Daniel made us feel very welcome and also left food for breakfast we smiled from the moment we entered the house.
