Guest Reviews
- Mimi (2/5): Good location however weird layout for the house and need some upgrading. - The view was lovely. Host was super helpful and easy to communicate with. The place was very rundown, it was more like one bedroom - even that there wasn't any door, it was a curtain, the only toilet was downstairs - the bunk bed was upstairs, like in a cupboard, I couldn't believe how tiny it was, it didn't fit in kids who are a bit bigger, my 7 years old slept on sofa - which was also not very comfortable it was really old and stained. I was really expecting somewhere a little more nicer inside with $700 a night, not ideal.
- John (9/5): Great place to stay - Clean tidy and close to point lookout, nice place
- Masnjak (7/5): - The excellent location WIFI would have been good - was unable to watch local channels on TV.
Fly screens on widows would have allowed having more windows open overnight
- Carmen (10/5): - A lovely stay with a wonderful view. I enjoyed being able to sit on the balcony each morning and watch the whales. Melanie showed kindness to me and my family during a difficult time. Thank you!
- Bernadette (10/5): -
- Melissa (5/5): - The view and wildlife Advertised as 3 bedrooms was only 2 some family had 2 get alternative accommodation as there's only 2 bedrooms was very dusty
- Julie (8/5): Comfortable and close to our friends and amenities - There was no breakfast we didn't find the coffee machine until our last day! our fault for not looking more closely
- Alisa (9/5): Superb -
- Lachlan (9/5): Great stay. Amazing views. Good location - Great stay. Amazing views. Good location.
- Nicola (8/5): Great house for a family to stay near the beach - Fantastic location
Easy to walk to the fabulous beach
Great veranda with views of the sea
The birds in the garden were really friendly
As were the kookaburras 😀 Being two couples it was a bit awkward to use the toilet at night as there was no door on the main bedroom and the toilet was next to it
Was ok for a couple of night’s though and for a family with children no problem at all
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hayley (10/5): Beautiful, peaceful, serene, surrounded by the best of Australian nature. - The location was perfect. Beautiful view of the ocean, a few minutes walk to the beach. Kangaroo’s grazing in the yard of an afternoon, beautiful native bird life. We struggled with being able to use internet for googling places to go but found out from locals that that is a whole island problem, not specific to this accommodation.
- Helen (8/5): Very good - The location was excellent, walk to the Point Lookout Hotel, walk to Cylinder Beach and a supermarket.
Lovely view and great sitting out on the deck. It says it's 3Bdrm, but only 1 queen downstairs and 1 small bunk room upstairs.
Not suitable for older people, we were 3 sisters late 60 and early 70.
Bathroom and toilet all downstairs.
