Guest Reviews
- Adriana (8/5): Nice location, but not worth the money - The location was nice, with the beach 5 min away on foot. You have a mini market and a restaurant on the premises. The caravan was clean and spacious. However, I find it not very suitable for small kids. The kitchen has all the small appliances you may need, and you are provided with tea, coffee, sugar... There were no towels, so you need to bring your own. There was only one toilet brush to share between the two toilets. The patio table had no glass top and couldn't be used. The Internet was very weak, could be used only in the evening. The caravan was shaking like it was a small earthquake when you were walking up and down the wooden planks of the veranda.
- SWEETAN (7/5): Comfortable family holiday - Clean rooms, quiet Not aware of advanced booking for activities.
- Ana Daniela (9/5): - It was clean and comfortable. The internet is very bad.
- Apryl (8/5): Pleasant Stay - Caravan is within a good distance from the main facility.
Spacious Caravan
Wheelchair access also a bonus as it surrounds the two main doors of the caravan.
Wifi on the caravan was also useful.
All kitchen amenities were use good storage, good size fridge freezer, living space areas not too crowded for 8 people (5 Adults 3 Children)
Bedrooms decent size.
Two toilets which is great for a big family.
Parking right outside the caravan we park two cars which was great
The customer service communicates really well. Could do with a small vacuum cleaner
There are stains in the sofa but thats wear and tear from being use by different people I guess still comfortable to seat on.
The table outside was broken so we couldn’t use it but chairs was useable
Needs extra floor rags especially on the bathrooms. Doors were had loose fixtures but still working and one toilet leaking water but does resolve itself eventually.
We didn’t get to use our passes on Monday as they’ve said because people are checking in and out we cannot hire or use any outdoors activities, shame really as it was my son’s birthday that day and we didn’t realise we save that date to do activities ended up going out instead as we were checking out on a Tuesday. Otherwise overall it was a pleasant stay.
- Tapashree (8/5): Very good -
- Ikhlaq (5/5): Was out first trip on a caravan site, not the greatest first experience. - Cleanliness could have been better. Curtains were not working properly. Patio furniture missing parts therefore could not assemble the table. Toilet in the main bedroom cistern overflowed constantly and was reported to staff to fix. Part was ordered by maintenance.
- Ruth (6/5): The caravan was updated, good location, instructions good, heating good and had basics. Due to amount of money we paid w - Good size of caravan, tv and sound system. There seemed to be an accumulation of lots of small things that’s added up to be just annoying and frustrating.
Existing stains on the furniture
Shelves dirty and dusty
Bathroom not cleaned properly
Parts of the Shower kept coming off
Kitchen ware very basic and worn out
The only 1 sharp knife was very blunt
Not enough toilet paper provided
No kitchen roll
No cloths provided for dishes , only 1 tea towel
En-suite bathroom door was faulty
Toilet in en-suite continued to run constantly
The curtain rail curtain continued to fall off rail
Wi Fi connection not good
Outside table could not be used as part of it was broken
Seat covers stained
Perhaps we have been spoiled in previous caravans, there was no warmly or finishing touches feel to welcomed to the caravan. Previous caravans there were box games and books etc Welcome packs etc
- Warren (10/5): Loved it - Everything spot on Nothing
- Arlene (4/5): Disappointing - Not suitable for disability, only thing was ramp suitable
- Steven (8/5): Very good -
- Kenneth (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): Edinburgh Tattoo weekend - Excellent location, very clean, plenty of utensils etc. Very comfortable living areas.Great couple of days. Give it a go. Nothing to dislike
- Robert (7/5): Just needs a a little TLC and address issues highlighted - Location in the golf village. No towels (when I asked and they said it was provided)
Crack/hole in the sink
Patio table broken
Stain on the carpet
Broken cupboard in kitchen
We brought our own patio furniture for the decking as a message said they wasn’t any (which there was)
WiFi was poor
- Stuart (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (7/5): Is good for young family but not adults - Site was quiet, good location for our needs Single beds too narrow, ok for young kids, our fault we didn't consider. The sloping ramp became frosty which led to a fall, could perhaps use rubber mats. A dishcloth would be handy
- Md. (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - Meat and clean well arranged
- Mary (10/5): A family getaway to remember! - We arrived in the property at around 4pm. All instructions to enter the property are clear. The caravan is at its cleanest state when we arrived. The owner responds to our query efficiently. The highlight of our stay was witnessing Aurora Borealis right exactly in the front of our caravan! It was truly a holiday to remember for our family. The caravan is very warm, feels like home and a home away from home. Thank you very much!!! There are times that the wifi gets interrupted but not a big deal as we were on a holiday anyway.
- Green (10/5): Relaxing Winter Stay - Family of 3, regulars at holiday parks. We have stayed in a number of caravans of different standards in the past, this caravan topped them all. Great location to visit Edinburgh, about a 30 minute drive to the Zoo. The bus stops regularly at the front gate for City Centre and Zoo. We stayed in November as we wanted the park to be quiet, which it was. All staff were friendly and helpful. Caravan is very modern, clean and spacious. Decking with table and chairs although it was too cold to use them. Don't pass on this caravan. An earlier review mentioned the internet and TV is slow. This is true during loading, have patience and we had no problems watching TV and YouTube.
- Rachael (10/5): A lovely place to stay. - This property is well-maintained, very clean & tidy. We are a family of 7 & we all fit perfectly here. Everything was perfect
