- Young (10/5): Amazing relaxing cosy stay - Everything! Cosy spotless warm welcoming and the dogs loved it. Lovely fresh baked wheaten bread waiting for our arrival. The hot tub was fired up and ready for us arriving Also 10/10 stay Nothing at all couldn’t fault this beautiful cottage
- William (10/5): - The location of this place is super to any of the Mourne walks. 5 mins drive into kilkeel. The privacy of the hot tub over looking spectacular views. Will definitely be booking here again. Will be trying for winter to have the stove going and lye out in the hot tub.
Very very clean property N/A
- Kathleen (10/5): Great place - The place was lovely and relaxing There was nothing i didnt like
- David (10/5): Very relaxing and comfortable - Hosts were very welcoming and a lovely quiet place to stay. We had a great time and even got some very tasty soda bread. We brought our dog Sammy who had a great time. Would highly recommend this place.
- Hannah (10/5): A relaxing getaway in the Mournes! - The most perfect little relaxing place I’ve ever stayed! Tucked away in the Mournes, The Coop is a tranquil cottage where you can unwind. The hot tub was amazing, the cottage was clean & comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Waking up to the sounds of the birds was wonderful. The homemade wheaten bread was a special touch. Jason was very helpful and was there if we needed anything. We will definitely be back again🥰 Nothing
- Demi (10/5): Perfect, would highly recommend for a relaxing time away. - Excellent location for silent valley and hikes up the mournes. Hot tub location was perfect for sunrise and sunset. Underground heating made the cottage feel lovely and cosy. Loved how it’s been modernised, but also has that old traditional cottage feel to it. Enclosed area out back with hot tub and picnic area was perfect for the dog. Will definately be returning.
- Samuel (10/5): Relaxing and tranquil - Nice and cosy Nothing

- Charlotte (10/5): Overall, an amazing stay. Everything we could have wanted was provided. - Easy to find, the owners reached out the day before with detailed instructions on finding the property. They also asked if we wanted the hot tub preheated which was nice. Plenty of wood was provided to keep it going and also to light the wood fire in the house.
The property was very clean and fresh bread was left with butter, milk and the essentials. The bath room and bedroom were very clean, towels and robes for us to use were left too.
Chrome cast TV and WiFi provided, and worked a treat. There were board games left for our enjoyment too. Good information on the area around in the welcome booklet.
Would definitely come back again and stay for longer!

- Helen (10/5): A fantastic wee cottage surrounded by the mountains and sea. An ideal spot to relax. - We loved the relaxing vibe they created with their soft furnishings, lighting and layout Could have done with a larger drainage space for dishes. We disliked the music/tv link and a small Bluetooth speaker would have been better.
- Carol (9/5): - This is such a cozy little place and has been finished to a very high standard.
The location is perfect for a remote getaway and Silent Valley up the road is beautiful.
Jason was very friendly and helpful.
I'm sure we will return.

- Kate (10/5): Stunning little cottage in a stunning location. Just perfect for a cosy romantic break and our puppy loved it too-made h - Stunning little cottage in a stunning location. Just perfect for a cosy romantic break and our puppy loved it too-made himself right at home! Lovely touches of wheaten bread, burrer, milk and jam. The hot tub didn’t have bubbles-which is not a major thing, but when you see ‘hot tub’ you assume jacuzzi (which is probably wrong!) but it was essentially just a hot bath-albeit pleasant. Might be worth calling that out on the listing (if not already and we missed it)
- Bowers (10/5): Off the grid znd relex - COSY COTTAGE Well, it says it all ideal of the grid retreat hot tub was perfect clean cottage beautiful and nice wee pot of jam and traditional wheaton bread thankyou for z wonderful stay Any one wanting to stop etc But only a 15 .instead drive to Newcastle shop till yee drop

- Jonny (10/5): didn't stay long enough - Had an amazing stay with my 2 dogs for a mid week break. The barn was top notch, it had that old donegal feel but with modern utilities to make it super comfortable. Nestled down a little lane off the main road sits this hidden gem of a place.. Jason greeted us on arrival and gave me a few pointers for walks around the area for the hounds and left us to it, which I'm very appreciative of.. non intrusive, but on hand if needed. The area is fantastic, the weather was great and the setting is perfect. I can honestly say I didn't want to leave. Book it, you won't regret it. n/a
