Guest Reviews
- Julie (1/5): A very disappointing stay - The suburb locwas great but was not warned about the ridiculous amount of traffic noise being on an intersection on a very busy road. Room was extremely dirty. Gravy on the kitchen table. Cheese and sauce in the microwave. Food bits and mould all through the fridge. Floors were fithy. Bed only had a bottom sheet, no top sheet and an empty quilt cover. . . Nothing felt clean. Tried to contact owner immediately. Still haven't had a call back. Managed to get a hold of someone in the house by knocking on the door. Came and had a look, took pictures and left. No offer to clean anything. So we did it ourselves. We even accidentally left a toiletries bag there and have not been contacted about that either.
- Yetrida (9/5): Comfortable, clean and recommended - Feeling comfortable during stay and the communication with the host is superb. Very recommended place to stay😊
- Marni (9/5): Good location, clean and super comfortable, very friendly host -
- Prentis (8/5): A cute, quiet place with excellent hosts and a fantastic shower — a comfortable base for our stay - It’s a cute little place. I liked the decor. The kitchen is well stocked with plates and bowls, and there were plenty of towels provided for both the shower and the pool. The shower is fantastic. The wardrobe is huge, with lots of space to unpack and settle in. It’s also very quiet inside the flat, with minimal traffic noise. The hosts were excellent and struck the perfect balance of being available without being overbearing. The beds weren’t very comfortable for us, particularly the one in the main living area. The open shower/sink layout was a bit unexpected but manageable. A few small kitchen upgrades, like better knives and hand towels, would be helpful.
- Michael (6/5): Great location, great for a couple . Clean and well appointed. Not appropriate for a third person i - Breakfast not supplied. Great location opposite a park ( under repair). Granny-flat set-out is awakward, with no door for privacy door to bathroom. Foldout bed in kitchen/ living-room. Only toilet located in the bedroom on suite, a little inconvenient. see above
- Sean (10/5): - Everything was wonderful. Beautiful place. Thankyou for the opportunity to relax at your beautiful place.
- David (9/5): Great place to relax and sleep and short walk to restaurants and beach. - Very comfortable flat with everything we needed and very close to our family at Runaway Bay and easy parking opposite. All good.
- Andrea (10/5): 5 Stars !! - What a great place to stay. Very comfortable, very clean and tidy and a fantastic location. We, 3 adults, had a great stay and will definitely book again. Our host was lovely and very helpful. There really wasn't anything we didn't like

- Daniel (8/5): Comfortable, safe, peaceful, pleasant, clean, cute, well managed. - Access to the pool was great :).
Unlimited safe street parking out front.
Mattresses were amazing.
Nothing was missing.
Very cozy / comfortable
Hosts friendly and helpful.
Great park next to the place for giving our dog big exercise and wees and poos.
Absolutely love its pet friendly When running AC at night, the outside part where the condenser is, vibrates like a helicopter landing outside - couldnt sleep with it on - needs a service. Advertised as two bedroom, but it’s not. However the second bedroom is actually the living room.
But it was still very spacious.
We were very comfortable.
- Lucille Acton (8/5): Clean and comfortable - Great location. Modern, clean, private & everything you need. Says 2 bedroom. There is 1 bedroom with ensuite & TV. 2nd room has fold out lounge as a bed, another lounge, dining table & kitchenette. Walk through bedroom to ensuite. No door on shower room.

- Janice (1/5): Avoid this property if you can! - Milo the dog is delightful. Dog park across the road from the property is handy. Very unpleasant stay, such that I barely stayed there. Exploitative owner. Asking for extra money for pet (already included in rate - made me prove it) and then if having kids visit. Dog excrement left by bloke sharing the property, who then had the nerve to leave dog bags on my doorstep for me to pick up after his dog?!? My dog stayed elsewhere for most of the visit as the gate had no lock. Everything done on the cheap. No fly screens. No quilts just empty quilt covers. One tiny milk for a 9 night stay. One bin liner etc. Not allowed to use the pool as advertised. Pool not fenced fully. For over $2000 for the stay - TOTAL FAIL!!
- Gianina (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay — the place was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. It was actually a lot nicer than the photos, which was such a pleasant surprise. The location was only a 20 minute drive from places we wanted to visit, making it easy to get around, and the space felt homely and inviting. Our hosts were friendly and accommodating, and their dog Milo was an absolute sweetheart, which made the experience even warmer and more memorable. It is definitely a pet friendly place, there's a dog park across the road, which is super convenient if you're bringing fur babies.
- Brian (9/5): - Property spacious, clean and lovely decor. Noisy Neighbour doing renovations early Sunday morning, but this is not a reflection on the host.
- tony (8/5): Not what we expected - Close to a few restaurants We didn’t like the fact our credit card was charged and extra $100 after we left cause we had a dog when it clearly stated dog friendly, have the charge in your initial charge !
- Kimb2472 (10/5): - Everything was exactly as represented on Bookings.
Short Uber ride to Moviewirld, Outback spectacular,
Top Golf and Wet and Wild. Shirt drive to Harbour town. I will be staying again for a girls weekend ASAP. Highlight was pupper pats with the resident doggo.
- Rhys (8/5): Great short stay, had everything on hand that was required for my stay, -
- Almunther (10/5): Exceptional -
- Geoff (9/5): Excellent spot from which to explore the Gold Coast. - Great place to stay to explore the Gold Coast Nothing really.
- Karin (7/5): Good -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Brilliant stay - Location was great, the accommodation was a lot bigger than I was expecting from the pictures.
All very clean and attention to detail was lovely. Host responded immediately to any questions. Lovely huge bed and shower. Myself and husband stayed with our 4 year old and baby, a travel cot was provided. We had a great time. A larger bin would of been useful in the kitchen area
- Charlotte (7/5): Would suit a couple but not so great for a bigger group. - Nice place to stay for a couple. The second ‘bedroom’ was actually the living room.
There was no aircon in the living room so it was uncomfortably hot.
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- John (5/5): Nog what is stated - Unit was clean and tidy. INACCURATE LISTING.
The listing has 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed. Beware, this is not what is there. There is 1 bedroom with a queen bed and one single bed in an open area with kitchen, dining and lounge. There is no separation, so don't know how this can be listed as a "2nd bedroom." The sofa bed is not a sofa bed but is only a 3 seated sofa.
There is a TV only in the bedroom. So only way to watch TV is from on the bed.
The bathroom is situated in the main bedroom. While this is not a real issue, the fact there is no door is. There is no privacy.
We were travelling as 3 males and booked as had ( so ad states) 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed. As it is, it was unacceptable and completely unsuitable to us. We did not end up staying there. I requested a refund based on this, but have not received any form of reply from the hosts.
For a couple this flat is suitable.
- Sophie (8/5): Easy and comfy and good location - The beds were very comfortable
The pool was great
The host was very kind and inviting
The shower is nice and big No fly screens on the windows
We so wanted to leave the windows open for a breeze as it was very hot but mosquitos were coming in so we had to have them shut and air con on
Fly screens would make a huge difference especially as there’s loads of windows
- Kaylene (8/5): Very good - Good size and easy access
- Huiyu (9/5): Superb -
- Joanne (9/5): Really enjoyed the day and relax away, will stay again! - Handy to what I needed, shops close by as well. It’s a great spacious guesthouse, modern, very clean and well maintained. Great for the work I needed to do, plenty of space to spread out and work. Kitchen well stocked to cook (and more than basic!) I also had my dog there and great park across the road for off lead. When I visited it was quite hot and steamy. Unfortunately there were no fly screens on the lounge room windows and so had to run to e fans and air conditioning to cool it down. This worked well!
