- Janie (8/5): Everything we needed for a two night stay away - The location was perfect, the hot tub was a bonus and the house spacious. Some of the kitchen utensil could do with an upgrade and possibly a deep clean once a month. The steps down to the garden are extremely slippery
- Halle (10/5): Lovely couple of nights away - Perfect location, house was gorgeous.
- Shannon (3/5): Wouldn’t stay here again. - The kitchen was large, and the location was conveniently close to the beach. What I didn’t like was that the garden was filthy and unusable. The garden furniture was covered in poo and torn, and when I messaged the host, they said they don’t clean the garden until summer, even though my stay was the last weekend in May. The bedding had hairs on it and didn’t feel clean, and overall the property did not appear to have been cleaned properly. The host was also not very helpful when these issues were raised.

- Krystal (1/5): Nice in pictures not so much in real life - Hot tub was lovely, size of the place and location perfect. The beds were so uncomfortable that 2 disabled people ended up on the sofa, my elderly grandmothers door handle fell off on the first night due to no screws in it. There was missing bits in the floor and clock in lounge didn't work. Place wasn't very well cleaned. The stairs inside were so small we had to walk up them side ways (no idea with a house full of disabled people ) the stairs outside were so steep some member had to sit to get down them. The shower was like a watering can and a bath wasn't an option due to water pressure it would have taken hours to run. One of the beds had a urine stain on the mattress, all the duvets were ripped and dirty. One member actually got a cut on their arm from the springs on one of the mattresses. The sofa was broken and the freezer had no drawers.
- Zara (8/5): - The property is set in the most perfect location, right by the sea and a short few minute walk to the pier. Parking is a bit difficult.
- Andrew (10/5): - Very nice stay Broadway
House was lovely and clean and comfortable
Hot Tub was lovely and hot
Great location and sea views
Would love to stay again Nothing

- Ben (10/5): My partner treated me for my 43rd birthday and wow what an experience I would definitely book again! House was beautiful - Everything the house was beautiful, location was exceptional literally few minute walk from the sea front! Nothing to not like
- Sheryl (10/5): We enjoyed our stay especially the hot tub. - The hot tub None
- Goncalo (10/5): -
- Michael (8/5): Family holliday - The hot tub was lovley nice views over the water close to shops chipy pubs tesco aldi not far either house was spacious loads of room comfy beds Stairs are a little on narrow side and could have done with tvs in all bedrooms not just one and the tiles downstairs all in same colour could have been done with a difrent colour where step is so you dont fall dow it
- Michal (10/5): -
- Rich (7/5): Good location and great to have the entire place. - A spacious property just a a few minutes walk from the pier and centre of Herne Bay. Facilities were all as you would expect, although we ate out each night so didn't use the cooker. Everything was clean. Parking not an issue on the road outside. Didn't use the hot tub so can't comment on that. Sam was very responsive to a problem with a blocked pipe, which he fixed promptly. Floors are all tiles and wooden stairs, so you ideally need soft shoes or slippers. Shower was ok, but not the best. Mattresses are a bit tired and creaky, but we slept fine.
- Parkes (10/5): - Very well presented, was very clean and made us feel super comfortable.Amazing location would definitely go back in the warmer months. Loved it and had a great time.
- Anisha (10/5): -
- Maria (10/5): - The home is beautiful and very well equipped.location is excellent with a front line sea view. Tesco late opening is a 5 min walk or less, butcher shop in front of the house with various other shops and take aways on the same street. Communication with Sam was excellent. We had a wonderful time. You need to be careful with stairs if you are older like us 😉 and be careful on the patio as it is slippy when wet but this isn't a major gripe. Hot tub was a big bonus and it's not slippy around it. We stayed off the patio because there is plenty of space to sit outdoors down by the hot tub.

- Kayt (10/5): A beautiful home with breathtaking views, already planning my next visit! - The house is amazing and the views of the ocean are spectacular, it’s very spacious, warm and clean, it has everything that you need, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, heating in every room, fast wifi, smart tvs, everything you need for a comfortable stay. I cannot fault this property.

- Tracey (8/5): Our stay was lovely as was the house and location, just feel the house could do with a few repairs and a bit of TLC - The location and hot tub were great. The house is well equipped. Beds not very comfortable, bedding was old, sofa could have done with a clean.
- Lesley (9/5): Great stay in the perfect location. Would come back espically in the summer. - Location was amazing, and the views were great too.
The house was spacious too.
Hosts were very attentive and answered any messages sent straight away fixing our problem as soon as they could.
Good value for what we paid. The step down from the kitchen needs a strip on it or something to make you away of the step. The first few days we all slipped down the step as it’s hard to see if not looking directly at the floor.
Could do with mattress toppers or new mattress as these wasn’t the comfiest.
- Petrova (10/5): -
- Elharar (8/5): - The place is in perfect location very close to the beach the hot tub was amazing the decor was very modern. Two of the beds were very uncomfortable.
- Dan (7/5): Enjoyed our break . Reason for visit wedding. Spent little time at property - Kitchen all mod cons. Plenty of space throughout. Garden very useable inc hot tub. Good layout for groups. Great views from back bedroom Property needs some TLC. Damage on cupboards, floor tiles . Kitchen tap loose . Radiator by front door leaks when heating on. Paint flaking on walls in bedroom. Mattress in back room needs replacing ( very worn ) . Bathroom needs facelift .
- JANICE (9/5): - Spacious and very comfortable with everything thing you need, especially the hot tub. Lovely views of the sea,and short walk to seafront.
Managed to park right outside The stairs..very steep with narrow treads and no handrail. We both struggled to come down them.
- Humphrey (10/5): -
- Isabella (9/5): Lovely family holiday - The location was ideal, everything was in walking distance that we wanted to do which was perfect with the children. The house was lovely with plenty of space for our family and had everything you needed. The on street parking wasnt brilliant after a long journey to arrive to a packed street and nowhere close to park to drop luggage. Luckily it was bank holiday so the shops across were closed and we parked on their pathways to drop the luggage and then had to drive around for a space.
- Kerrie (9/5): A really fun week for all the family - The hot tub was lovely and the family areas really good for larger families There were a few little bits that were in need of maintenance like the door handle on one of the bedroom doors. But on the whole it was great
- Kerry (1/5): Wouldn't stay here again even if I was paid to - Location and spaciousness No number on the front of the house
Smelled of garbage no cover on garbage can
Long black hairs on bathroom floor
Broken glass and garbage at front door
Cigarette butts out back
Had to wash glass and cook wear before using
Beds and couch need replacement. Springs are coming through mattress and couch is stained
Pillows are flat and linen is see through
Cobwebs in bathroom window
Stain on bedroom carpet floor
Dishwasher was not emptied
Not enough bath or kitchen towels
Not enough TP
Hot tub had dirt in the bottom
Burn pit in back yard beside hot tub
Bird droppings on window sill making it unsafe to open
Staircase to bedrooms has no railing
Instruction to access WiFi unclear
- Mario (1/5): Really bad - The hot tub was not clean the whole garden they did not clean. Sofa smelt of urine. Door didn’t close. Owner did not want to give a refund.
- Lisa (8/5): Very good -
- John (5/5): The house provided some where to stay and it served that purpose for the night. - The location is ideal, the house was very clean, parking was easy. For us we used it as the Premier Inn was full and we had travelled to Kent to see a relative. The furniture in the house is very tired, the TV stand need replacing. The beds are worn out, the pillows are long been finished. The stairs are dangerous the treads are too narrow and there is no hand rail which on these stairs is dangerous. You need to come down the stair side ways.
- Julie (10/5): Great property great location every amenity you could ask for. - Very modern and stylish property, great location for walking to town , lots of restaurants nearby. Easy to find & easy parking. Hot tub a great bonus Being slightly older the stairs were quite narrow & no hand rail
- Sylvia (10/5): We stayed as a group of friends and cannot say how lovely the property is. -
- Steph (10/5): Perfect spot villa - Beautiful home
Very spacious
Amazing rooms
Perfect spot, pier is around 2/5 minute walk from the villa
Perfect for a little break
- Chun (6/5): Pleasant -
- Lynne (9/5): Superb -
- Veronica (4/5): Needs upkeep - From the start of trying to open the lock to the facilities to the place needing a whole maintenance done to several of the rooms also the hot tub could do with a clean out and the lounge a deep clean as had stains all over it. It was a disappointment to the price you pay. Only read the reviews about the step from the kitchen to living room after booking this should be highlighted in the description as we just about had several accidents because of it and with any elderly person staying would not be helpful.
Only bonus is the location to the beach and I'm presuming this is what gets everyone renting the place
- Rachel (8/5): Lovely weekend away for family celebration - Beautiful sea views from upstairs, perfect location for walking, parking easy, hot tub a nice addition, well stocked with utensils to cook, and dog friendly :) A great base Not a didn’t like but more of a preference, double mattress in rear bedroom was really thin and worn making uncomfortable to sleep , bedroom furniture could do with an upgrade , hot tub cover broken which owner aware of
- Arthur (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cindy (9/5): Had a lovely girls get together - Hot tub and modern decor clean house good parking and nice and warm house Beds were uncomfortable could feel springs
and a few maintenance issues in terms of decor but nothing that impacted stay.
- Danielle (10/5): Exceptional - The house was beautiful, the location was great cleanliness spot on and the views from two bedrooms were amazing.
Hot tub is clean lovely and warm even on a very cold evening 🌆 would definitely recommend and il be returning myself. Great all round.
Definitely will be returning in the summer 🌞
With family Dog friendly too .
Thank you for a wonderful experience.
We didn't want to leave.
- Nicola (8/5): Lovely stay in a great location to celebrate a friends 50th - Great location with free parking. Lots of space and hot tub was an excellent bonus. Great price wise. Propery is a little tired decoration wise and some additional towels for the hot tub and kindling for the fire would have been an added touch.
- Gledi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Edward (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zoe (9/5): Superb -
- Baron (8/5): Very good -
- Anita (8/5): A reallyenjoyable stay overall - The location was perfect, close to everything. Great views of the sea.
We enjoyed the hot tub. Lots of extras like surround sound and coffee machine. It was lovely comfy and warm.
Sam was brilliant with his communication and quick to respond to any questions.
We had a lovely stay and would visit again. The decor is quite tired with a few repairs required eg damaged bathroom sink unit and sink slow to drain , door handle and lock faulty. Front bedroom flooring has a dipped area in the centre in need of repair. With some TLC could be easily improved.
- Jones (8/5): Very good -
- Monae (10/5): Exceptional - I love how big and clean the property was The the electric kept tripping every 10 minutes
- Lianne (6/5): First impressions good but needs a lot of work. Good location - Location very close to beach. Hot tub was amazing. Sofa really comfortable. Good televisions. Deliveroo and just eat available. Warm and cosy in the property. Plenty of space. Sea view from bedroom. Walking distance to town. Very steep noisy staircase. Hazardous marble step between kitchen and living area. We tripped on this multiple times, if people are drinking alcohol this is dangerous. Property not child friendly. Lots of things need repairing. Toilet roll holder and bathroom handle fell off in the night. Fridge smelt. Dishwasher door off. Kitchen tap loose. Sharp object pointing out of back of sofa. Double bed in main back bedroom small and uncomfortable (plenty of room for bigger bed). Only two toilets. One shower/bath. No en-suites.
- Ewa (8/5): Very good -
- Maisie (10/5): This house is prefect for a relaxing girls weekend! Perfect location as right on the seafront and near restaurants, pubs - Clean, spacious, open plan living/dining/kitchen area so great for groups, free on street parking, large bedrooms, great views
- Maria (6/5): Good value if 4 bedrooms are needed. Does need a refresh with the decor and a bit more attention to detail. - Location was great , sea view from the bedroom.
Hot tub was nice. Poorly finishing decor wise, peeling paint in a few areas. Garden needs a refresh
Oven trays were not cleaned
Stale odour throughout the house
- Teixeira (5/5): Passable - The property is a nice size and in a good location. Bedrooms all good sizes and living space very communal It’s all very tired and needs a revamp. Things breaking/ falling apart. Sofa very old. Bathroom and kitchen not in the best condition. Door handle coming off on back door made it tricky to close and make safe. Wasn’t cleaned very well when we arrived and no real stuff to clean it for our stay which was a bit disappointing as I don’t mind it not being overly clean if you have a hoover you can use to sort it. Dishwasher didn’t work and tripped the electrics when we turned it out cutting out the hot water for a bit
- Marina (10/5): AMAZING stay - we'd love to come back! - Lovely, very responsive and super friendly host.
Stunning views!!
The location of the property is superb - close to town and the beach.
The house itself is well renovated, very spacious and comfortable. Great kitchen with plenty of cutlery/ crockery.
Comfortable beds and sufficient linen. We loved all the little extras, like coffee pods, mini milks, shower gels and bubble baths - really lovely, thank you! Slightly noisy neighborhood, but that's understandable in such prime location. That said - the noise didn't really impact our stay, I', must mentioning it in case some travelers like it "dead quiet".
The bathroom cabinet could use a re-fresh - also not a big deal, all functionality is there :)
- Nicola (10/5): Perfect place to stay. We had an amazing short break, thank you very much - I couldn’t recommend Broadway Beach Home enough! It was spotless with everything you could possibly need. The view was just amazing, being able to open your window to hear the sea was magical. It was in a perfect location, you can walk into Hern bay in minutes and enjoy everything it has to offer. The hot tub was loved by all!! The mattress’s are coming to the end off their life’s but everyone slept well
- Philip (8/5): Very good -
- Charlotte (7/5): A beautiful house that requires a little love - The house was beautiful with a perfect location and outstanding views. I'm sure in its prime it was even more beautiful but now appears tired/unloved in places such as the bathroom, hottub cover etc. The sofa was comfy and a lovely dining space. In the bedroom nearest the road there is a patch of carpet without floorboard underneath which was a worry. The house would also benefit from more towels per guest to accommodate hottub use and showering as a shower is needed pre and post hottub but means the same towel has to be used.
- Iqbal (9/5): Superb -
- Jacqui (9/5): Lovely house, great host and fantastic location - Great location, spacious house with a lovely outside area. Just be aware that the different levels in the downstairs area mean that there are a few steps that aren’t always easy to see. Also the steps down from the property to the garden are quite big. Fine for adults not so great for young children.
- Peter (9/5): Lovely house in great location - Lovely house in a great location. The host also supplied tea coffee milk sugar and all the essentials for a night. The step from the kitchen to the living room. Perhaps put some tape or something similar there to make it show up more other than that everything was great. Would recommend it
- Chris (10/5): highly recommend - lovely location very modern house couldn’t get the bath to empty
- Chanae (9/5): Lovely stay - Came here on a trip with family & wasn’t disappointed! It was a lovely stay, all the necessities provided in a clean & comfortable space.
- Kimberli (9/5): This break away was 4 female friends that meet up maybe once or if we are lucky, twice, a year. This property was exactl - Really modern and clean when we arrived.
Easy to find. Plenty of parking. We didn’t venture out for the weekend but having looked at things to do, the house seems ideally situated.
Beautiful sea views. The stairs are very steep and there is no hand rail.
The light switches are particularly confusing. So many and I think we all spent some time turning switches on and off to get certain lights working.
Obviously not a major issue.
- Nicky (9/5): Gorgeous house with great space for a group getaway - It’s a very sociable house, great space for a group of friends & very modern & comfortable Some part needs some attention, mainly the bathroom which looks like it has some water damage
- Lucinda (8/5): Very good - Hot tub, location, size, master bedroom, entertainment system The house is set up to be clean and modern. It is spacious and well located. However, there are some very real health and safety concerns, the flooring throughout the ground floor was tiled and extremely slippy. The garden is similar, and with a hot tub, this was dangerous. The stairs were narrow and with no hand rail felt steep and dangerous. I would definitely not stay here with children or elderly people.
- Lucy (7/5): Overall it was everything we needed. - The location was great the views from upstairs are fantastic. Some of the property has become a little worn. I wonder if the price was a little high for only one bathroom also.
- Anonymous (10/5): Prefect few days getaway with friends - We thought the house was amazing and in a great location. We loved the hot tub which was one of the main reasons we hired the property. The house was very well equipped and we liked the little touches such as, tea, coffee, hand soap etc.
We would definitely return and I could have quite easily have stayed another day or two!
- Jamie (7/5): Nice place but could be nicer and need to change parking info - Nice location and has a hot tub
Good WiFi Can’t get parked at the property even though it advertises parking
One towel per person
Hot tub skimmer basket is broken so keeps floating off
Upstairs bathroom now getting old and tired
- Ajiginni (10/5): TEN OUT OF TEN - such a beautiful house the hottub was so comfortable and the house as big as it was gave a homely feel to it! so much space and the kitchen was a dream to cook in. The home features surround sound that barely needs volume as it fills each section. be careful and watch your step there’s little steps everywhere!
- Nevenka (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natalie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (5/5): Disappointing, needs maintenance - It is close to the beach and the hot tub is a plus It’s not maintained well and there were some issues with flooding in the kitchen, broken drawers and doors which is a real shame for the money paid. The lights also tripped several times due to this.
- Tammara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kim (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (9/5): It was an amazing stay, everything was perfect, I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. - We liked how spacious and private it was, as well the facilities. We couldn’t find a broom so we wasn’t able to properly tidy up after ourselves.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kitty (9/5): Superb - The property was perfectly equipped for a stay with children, highchair and travel cot, and plenty of beds for kids to sleep in.
