• Leon (4/5): Not recommended for summer - The view from the balcony the check-in was remotely and it was easy, renovated bathroom This property was extremely disappointing and far below acceptable standards. There is no air conditioning, which made the stay unbearable in the summer heat. The paint inside is old and peeling, giving the house a neglected feeling. Amenities were practically nonexistent—no shampoo, no body wash , the shower was so small. You can’t even bend down to wash your feet and I am only 5’7” and the mattresses were old, squeaky, and uncomfortable. There were only three hangers in the closet, and at night it was impossible to sleep. Leaving the windows open for ventilation is the only option since there’s no AC, but the house is located right on a main road where vehicles constantly pass. Motorcycles, cars, and even municipal service trucks roar by, creating nonstop noise throughout the night. Add to that the doors slamming from strong crosswinds, and it was simply impossible to rest. Communication with the host was unhelpful. She responded but was too far away to address any issues in person. When I asked for extra fans due to the severe heat, nothing was provided. The kitchen is outdated, and the TV is practically useless—it only had one working channel and no ability to stream or connect via AirPlay. Overall, this rental offers everything at the bare minimum and fails to provide even the most basic level of comfort. It was one of the most uncomfortable stays I’ve had, and I cannot recommend it. It’s an honest truth nothing personal.

• Alexander (8/5): Characterful villa in splendid location overlooking lake Como. - The villa is full of character. We enjoyed the location with its fine views. The walk to the town centre takes less than half an hour with much of it around the edge of the lake. There is also a regular direct bus. We were given parking in a garage, which was very helpful since there was hot sunshine all the week we were there. We were there in a heatwave and the ville was very hot, however the fans in the bedrooms made it bearable. The kitchen area was extremely small given that we were preparing food for 6 people (we had the large apartment with balcony). We found the roadside gate to the villa extremely awkward to negotiate in the car.

• Federica (10/5): - Molto pulito, spazioso, hanno accettato la nostra cagnolina. C'è una leggera salita per arrivare a casa a piedi dal centro, ma è fattibilissima. In cambio, l'appartamento ha un bel giardino in cui rilassarsi e chiacchierare. C'era il sapone, ma mancavano il bagnoschiuma e lo shampoo (si risolve facilmente)

• Hiram (10/5): 1 week stay in Como at an appartment with a view of the lake - The house is well furnished. It has a lovely view from the balcony and a nice shared terrace (2 other apartments). It's very close to a big market, a pharmacy and a pizza place. Walking distance to the Lido of Como (10-25 minutes) and about 20-25 minutes from the center. Also has 2 bus lines that stop about 2-3 minutes from the house. If you're in your car, it has ample parking space. The house has two big rooms and a smaller one, plus a big living, dining and kitchen area. Silvia was super helpful and communicative. I fully recommend it for a stay with family. I shared a photo of the living area and the view from the balcony. Most everything is great for a big family in a long stay. The countertop in the kitchen could be a bit more spacious if I were picky and had to mention something, nothing to stress about.

• Yu-hsin (10/5): Beautiful view, pleasant and quiet environment. Location is good and bus stop near by. - All really good, the host is very sweet and the whole apartment is very clean. From the living room you can see the view from the lake and a glimpse of the como old town.
• Thomas (7/5): Nice and spacious apartment with a lovely view - Very spacious apartment with a nice view over the lake. The private parking was also very handy for traveling with an infant. The owner/letter was super friendly and immediately helped us when we had an issue. Super service! The apartment is next to a turn on a road which seems to be liked by motorcyclists who tend to make some noise. The entrance to the property is difficult to take with a lower car, so it could scrape your bottom plate.

The apartment was great, but the staff managing the apartment was not. At 4 pm when we arrived, the apartment was not ready for check-in (despite the fact that check-in was supposed to be at 3 pm), and when I pointed out that this was not acceptable, I was met with rudeness and accusations, rather than an apology.

Quite a walk uphill in the heat but regular buses to travel back from town. No air conditioning but fans in the main living room and the bedroom.

• Kateryna (9/5): Beautiful apartment - A very beautiful apartment that combines new style and the elements of the last century. There was everything for comfortable living, kitchen was equipped pretty well. All stuff in good condition. Along with that it was very clean. Internet connection was strong and stable. The host gave us a lot of useful tips and was in touch all the time. You can take your pet with you. Not far from the villa there is a big supermarket. Looks like the garden needs additional watering. The villa is located ~20 min from the city centre by foot. If you like walking, the location is great but if you don’t, it’s better to drive by car. There is a bus stop near the villa, but we didn’t see the buses very frequent.

• Heidi (9/5): fantastic but expensive - very spacious appartement, with a good view of the lake and the mountains. windows all around so you can easily ventilate during hot summers. Good starting point to visit lake Como, but you do need a car to get around. There is a supermarket at walking distance, also a very nice local restaurant locandadeltiglio.it. no table to eat outside although there is a very nice terrace.
