• Isaac (6/5): Accommodation was acceptable and location ideal for visiting Ninewells Hospital - It was modern and clean Noisy road at night , didn’t like big chandelier hanging over the bottom of the bed but guess that’s a matter of taste in decoration. All beds creaked when you moved .
• Sally (5/5): Passable - Spacious Innacurate description on website. Not beach/beachfront at all, miles away. Owner would not give key code until the day causing issues as we had no wifi or phone coming from overseas. Not 3 bathrooms, only 1 bathroom, 1 ensuite shower room and a downstairs toilet. Was a new build 8 years ago and now getting tired and tatty with unfinished floors and not checking cleaning as rubbish left behind bedsides.
• Juliet (8/5): Reasonably priced house with parking - Property was clean and reasonably priced. The renter was able to quickly sort out a problem with access when the code for the key box didn't work. The finishes were not good. Gaps in the floor at door jams, cracks in the walls.... Poor workmanship. It seemed as though the place was renovated but not finished off properly. There was a pervading smell of curry in the property which you did get used to. It would have been nice if there was tea, coffee and milk available.

• Joyceyjet (6/5): Pleasant - The location was great and very comfortable sofas and beds , the host gave us early entry on arrival No hairdryer, wires hanging loose in a few places, no appliance instructions, freezer was really frozen, no garden furniture, which is a shame cos the weather was beautiful no proper oven just a microwave/combination which we didn't know how to use, the flooring upstairs wasn't finished
• H (8/5): Visiting Abertay University - Good communication from owner.. Great to have 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. Good location, about 20 min walk into centre. Near to a free car park (infront of police station). Beware of the gull! Someone must have fed it from the backdoor, it taps on the glass.

• Pauline (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE-Health & Safety hazard! - Filthiest house I have ever stayed in. Unfinished electrical jobs, cables sticking out of walls. Botched plaster and paintwork. Questionable furniture. Dirty cloths left lying around. Dust hairs and general dirt on bedside tables. Extremely noisy bathroom extractor fan despite bedroom and bathroom doors being shut. Bedding had to be changed in each room, as dirt, stains and PUBIC HAIR on sheets, wardrobes full of clearly dumped laundry/paint equipment. Unfinished kitchen, paint on stairs was filthy. No clear instructions for heating and house freezing. No welcome guest book with instructions, eg WiFi code. Only carpet in whole house was cream originally- absolutely disgusting-filthy. Items from previous tenants left in drawers, toilet seat in en suite broken, nearly broke my neck using it! Do not stay here!!!

• Dionne (5/5): The stay was good - The property was in an ideal situation for a quiet weekend, yet still close enough for shopping, take-away, football etc. Just little issues - the back gate, could not get this locked and the wind was really high causing it to bang more often than not. There was a clanging noise coming from the upstairs bathroom, I think it was the air vent but it sounded terrible. Having stayed in a lot of Airbnb’s it looked to me like you are just setting the house up for that purpose and all in its good just needs a few extra touches to make it great - rusted radiator replaced, gate fixed, extra storage within the wardrobes - there was no room for case. It’s all little things but the the one thing I did miss was a guides book, I have had one of these in most Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in and find it really handy to have all information in one go to file.

The host was wonderful answered all my questions and let me extend check out time too which made the world of difference for us. In the main bedroom there is a huge hanging chandelier over the bed. Because the celling is very low the chandelier lies quite low and you end up banging your head off it. Be careful of that

• S (10/5): Impressed by the modern light equipment and the glittering centre piece in the lounge ... - Could not have breakfast as the toaster did not work I'm from Dundee so we went back to my place for breakfast minus the bacon and egg and cheese as I left the fridge food back in the apartment..... Silly me....😀 A working toaster, some scattered cushions on the settees and waste bins in the bedrooms.....thank you....🙏
